1 The Beginning(Edited)

In a small country house, a young man had just arrived home. Opening the door, he entered and closed it behind him, placing his bag on the couch and taking a seat. He looked around at his house, which was simply made of cement and wood, consisting of five rooms: his bedroom, kitchen, toilet, dining room, and a spare room for visitors. Although it was small and compact, it had enough space to move around.

Overwhelmed by tiredness after a long day at work, his motivation to live was slowly fading away, leading him to sigh. His name was Errol Miller, just an ordinary man living a monotonous life.

His name often prompted people to make fun of him, which he couldn't blame them for. It was chosen at random when one of his parents' younger friends mentioned the name Errol. Before graduating from college, he had read a bit about the history of English and stumbled upon this name. Errol is a masculine name that originated as a surname, originally a place name in Scotland. In 1453, the title Earl of Erroll was created for Sir William Hay in the Peerage of Scotland. Errol is a Scottish name that means "noble man" and "wanderer." Without truly understanding its meaning, they immediately took a liking to it.

Returning to the present, Errol's daily routine consisted of eating, sleeping, bathing, and working. Occasionally, he sought some small amusement on the internet by watching videos of other people's lives, witnessing their superiority and feeling either joy or envy towards what they had.

One might assume that he belonged to the envious group, and they would be correct. He envied those who had enough money to create videos solely for the purpose of making more money, as if life were a game of "pay to win." However, that wasn't the focus of our discussion.

Errol was a 30-year-old teacher at a public high school, where the rowdiness of his students had escalated due to their developing hormones. Handling them was both easy and hard, as they often acted based on their emotions but were also mature enough to be reasoned with.

Reflecting on his younger years, he had always settled for mediocrity. Accomplishing something gave him a fleeting sense of fulfillment, only to be replaced by feelings of insignificance when he encountered someone better. Soon enough, he would forget about it entirely.

Before you suggest that he should find something to inspire him or seek motivation and positivity, rest assured that he had tried. However, any motivation he found would fade away within a week. Why, you ask? It was because the motivation he discovered was to impress a girl who had captured his heart at first sight. Every day, he looked forward to seeing her at school.

But then came the problem...

I heard from a classmate that she was already taken.

She had a boyfriend! And their love story wasn't a simple one where they met and dated a few times before getting together. It was the kind of story that could be made into a drama series. They had met on the internet and shared numerous hobbies, maintaining a long-distance relationship without any physical contact.

Watching the love of your life, someone who can make you smile just by smiling herself, already have someone else in her heart, can be heartrending.

Their love story seems as if it has been lifted from the pages of a novel. This alone is enough to make any burgeoning motivation disappear in a split second.

He grows up and spends his life in a robotic manner, not bothering to seek someone else.

Though he's moved on, he still lacks the motivation to find another woman to love.

(Main Character's POV)
After I got home, I changed my clothes, ate dinner, and went to bed. I opened my laptop and watched some anime. Yes, I enjoy anime, but not as much as I used to. It's a pastime of mine.

In high school, I became engrossed in anime and then novels, nearly spending all my time on them. Finally, I discovered the rabbit hole of fanfiction. Believe me, it's a rabbit hole that surpasses the one in Alice in Wonderland. After reading fanfiction, I could no longer watch anime normally. Most of the main characters, who are either submissive in their harems or full of nonsense, just make me want to punch them in the face.

Thankfully, focusing on my career served as a diversion. It pulled me away from that rabbit hole, but it also brought me back to this so-called reality.

As I was reflecting on my life, an ad suddenly popped up on my screen. I wanted to close it, but couldn't find the exit button. Looking at the screen, I couldn't help but feel a little clichéd.

The screen displayed a question typically found in web novel fanfics: they transport you without any prior warning or consent.

"Hmm, nothing's going to happen, so I might as well finish this and go to sleep," I thought to myself.

So I started typing.

[What type of power would you want if you were going to be transported to another world in the next few hours?]

[A copy of Lin Fan's Strongest System, but not all of it. Only the inventory, leveling, and skill learning should still work. Create a monthly monster for me to fight in a special dimension, with no permanent consequences such as death or injury. I want the origin skill magiculed generator of Milim Nava to act as the source for the system for endless leveling growth. After reaching a certain level of strength, the magiculed generator should fuse with myself. Add a gacha function that can be used for free with a cooldown of one year. It has no currency and quest reward function; all the rewards should be useful or good. Make the system remove the leveling part of the system from me so I can only improve my body through training. Skill leveling and evolving should still work. Lastly, ensure that anything I get from the system is permanent.]

You might be wondering why I chose this specific system and even nerfed it, instead of a more traditional system with features like levels, shops, quests, and dungeons.

I just don't like it, that's all. Having everything at your fingertips, yet not being able to afford the luxurious items, and still having to grind to level up and earn currency, is not for me.

Before you ask why I'm not asking for Insta mastery, let me explain: I don't want it. It sounds boring and very limiting. You can only master things to a certain extent; you can't improve beyond that. In the end, this makes life very boring, as there are no challenges to overcome.

I'm not saying that I hate the easy way, no! I like the easy mode, but at least there should still be a need for thinking, progress, and hard work. I don't want something that will kill the joy of life with just one glance.

[Choose three skills you want to have. They should be categorized as high (e.g., Sharingan, Wood Style, Sword Birth), mid (e.g., super hearing, taste), and low (e.g., boxing, taekwondo).]

[Tracing, Hyper intuition, and Taekwondo]

The reason for choosing tracing is that it is super powerful in my opinion. Structural analysis is incredibly useful for investigation, learning, and crafting. It also allows you to copy things after analyzing them with structural analysis.

As for taekwondo, I was nothing when I chose it. I have a skill leveling system, so evolving from a normal kicking technique to the level of kicking air blades is easy.

[What race do you want to be?]
[Human]

[Choose the way you want to be transported.]

[Reincarnation, but slowly awaken my memories until 6 years old. However, I should still know what to say and what not to say during the unawakened period.]

[Which world would you want to be born in?]
[To Love-Ru]

Being human is always a priority for me. I know many people would choose something amazing like a dragon, but not me. I've always admired humans who triumph over other creatures.

Being born as a baby is also not something I desire. As much as I want to experience my new mother's care, I don't want to spend a year pooping, peeing, trying to walk, and acting like a baby. That's just too much of a sacrifice for a pair of tits.

As for the world, I've always liked Lala's character. Although having a harem is appealing, I feel it would be too much trouble. I'll just let fate take its course if I am truly being reincarnated.

"There, I'm finished. It took me a long time to think about what I want and to entertain the foolish idea of having hopes in this. Oh well, I'm going to get some sleep."

And so, having finished answering those cliché questions, I submitted and prepared to sleep. Suddenly, my computer started glitching, and a humanoid figure appeared in front of the screen, scaring the hell out of me.

"You're finally finished, and here I am, starting to think of spinning my wheel to give someone else this chance. So, enjoy your journey, you lucky little one."

It spoke in a voice that somehow made me want to worship it, but before I could move, a beam shot out of the screen and hit me. With my eyes wide open, I saw my hands starting to turn into ash, as if I were a victim of Thanos' snap, and then I vanished from this world.
