7 Year progress and manga

(Errol's POV)

"YOU ARE A GUY!!" She shouted, her voice resonating through the crowd. The guys looked as if they had been betrayed, their faces mirroring their shock. On the other hand, the girls cheered, thrilled that I was indeed a guy.

"Yes, I am. Now, how long do you plan on touching me there?" I responded, maintaining the most neutral tone I could muster.

She blinked, blushing noticeably, and quickly withdrew her hand.

"Sorry, I genuinely thought you were a girl with that look. How about I let you touch me in return? Oh, look at the time, I have something to do, so maybe next time," she quickly apologized, attempting to mask her embarrassment by reverting to her usual teasing demeanor. But it was clear to me that she was embarrassed.

She bolted before I could even respond, leaving me standing there, sighing. Is this what it feels like to be taken advantage of?

I decided to head home and proceed with the plans I had with my sister, trying to forget what had just happened.

As time passed, the beaten-down students conveniently forgot about their defeat. At least they were able to solve the mystery that had left the boys questioning their sexuality and the girls indulging in their fantasies.

Meanwhile, I was preparing to face my opponent. The system was ready, and as always, it was as tough as hell.

I dodged the sword and summoned a katana using projection. One of the things I discovered about my abilities is that my tracing doesn't just disappear after creating them.

I believe the absence of Alaya and Gaia in this universe allowed my magecraft to reveal its true capabilities. It felt as if I had a pirated version of denial of nothingness, so I was glad I chose this path.

I dashed forward at a blur-like speed and slashed at him using my fastest speed. He managed to block it, but I continued. My katana aimed for every weak spot I could find.

I continued slashing at my fastest speed, my blade moving so rapidly it looked like I was attacking from all directions at once. He kept blocking, but he was slowly being pushed back.

Suddenly, I stopped, breaking my opponent's rhythm. I seized this opportunity to slash at him while he tried to block again, but it was too late.

My blade reached his neck and cut it cleanly.

"Finally down," I sighed in exhaustion. "Status."

[Name: Errol
Abilities:
Tracing
Hyper intuition
Regeneration
Mind Wall
Skills:
Endless Battle Dance Lvl 16
Pure Core Cultivation Technique Lvl 19
Meteor Fist Lvl 6
Kendo Lvl 20
Itachi Kunai Throw style Lvl 13
Gacha
Inventory:
Bag of senzu beans
IS core
Endless water bottle
...]

I examined the result of my leisure skill leveling.

Firstly, my cultivation is now at the core formation stage, and it seems like I'm following the classic cultivation type that culminates in immortality. I must admit, I'm slower than Linfan, but I nerfed my system and I'm still content with it. I don't have any formidable enemies coming after me, so I appreciate this leisurely pace, slowly feeling stronger.

My Boxing and Taekwondo have evolved twice already, becoming the Endless Battle Dance and Meteor Fist.

The Endless Battle Dance is a technique that doesn't give my opponents a chance to retaliate. It's an endless kick that slowly builds its momentum, resembling a dance that continually assaults the enemy until they're unable to block the unstoppable kicks.

The Meteor Fist is a powerful punch as strong as a meteor falling from the skies and so fast that it breaks the sound barrier. However, it requires me to use my internal energy, and even then, I have yet to be able to utilize more than 40% of its power for at least one use.

It can be considered my trump card when I'm in danger, although I've never had to use it except in my monthly fights.

I learned Kendo out of boredom since I didn't have any weapons. And no, I don't have an interest in learning a myriad of skills, just the ones I need.

The Itachi Kunai Throw style is a prize I won on gacha. As you may know, Itachi is one of the best when it comes to throwing things.

My gacha system operates differently from others. There's no need for points or quests to be cleared. I simply request it to generate one gacha every year, requiring no effort on my part. However, everything I receive is certainly valuable.

Among the items I've acquired are Regeneration, which is self-explanatory, and Mind Wall, an ability that blocks all mental type abilities. I've also got a bag of Senzu beans from Dragon Ball, an endless bottled water that can produce water limitlessly, and an IS core from Infinite Stratos.

All of these items are useful except for the IS core. I'm not sure why I received an empty one without an IS inside. I suppose I can just wait for Lala to appear and give it to her to create one. She may seem naive, but she possesses one of the sharpest minds in this universe.

Now it's summer, and I'm just lazing on the couch watching TV. I'm bored. There are still two years before Lala enters this world and all sorts of strange things start happening.

"Mika-chan, Rito, Er-chan, I'm home," Saiba announced, arriving surprisingly early today.

"It's unusual to see you here. Aren't you busy with your manga?" I asked.

"Oh, that. I finished it very early today. Now I'm here to relax and enjoy some bonding time with my kids," he replied, grinning at me like a shounen protagonist. I wondered if there was an anime where he was the protagonist and the story revolved around the manga industry.

Pushing those thoughts aside, we did as he suggested. Despite his busy schedule and constant focus on his manga, I believe he's a good father whenever he's around. We played the games I had bought in my free time until midnight.

The next day, as he prepared to return to his apartment where he works, I suddenly had a thought.

"Hey, Dad, is it okay for someone my age to create mangas?" I asked. I had been considering bringing some famous works from my previous world to this one. I was surprised to find that most of them didn't exist here, although the manga here was quite good.

"Are you finally considering following in your father's footsteps? I'm so happy!" He looked at me, his face lighting up with the biggest smile I had ever seen from him. Like a proud father, he began to chatter about how we would rise as a father and son duo in the world.

I coughed to get his attention and redirected the conversation back to my question. I was unsure about the legalities, as most jobs require you to be at least 18 years old with valid ID, and being a mangaka is a form of work.

"Cough"

"Oh, sorry. And no, you don't need to worry. Age isn't important. Heck, there are even some who are younger than you, but they're not famous, so you wouldn't know about them," he explained.

I felt relieved. At least now I could earn some money and buy some things I had always wanted. Most of the things I liked were expensive, and my allowance wasn't enough. Although I could ask them for money, my adult mind wouldn't allow it.

"Great, so I'll try to create my own manga in my room. Could you please help me publish it when it's good?"

"Hahaha, leave it to me," he laughed out loud, promising to assist me, and slowly walked away with a big grin on his face.

"Now then, let's think about what manga I should create."

I began to contemplate which manga to create. I considered One Piece, but quickly dismissed the idea. One Piece is popular, but I hadn't finished it, and I felt bad about potentially ruining that world with my ideas.

Sword Art Online sounded good, but perhaps for the future. I needed something that would attract popularity for my future works.

Naruto seemed like a good choice, with its cool and fancy jutsus, I thought it would definitely be popular here.

So, I thought about all the things I needed and started planning. I considered if I should add Boruto, but immediately dismissed the idea.

Why?

Because I simply don't want to. I dislike Boruto. Although there are some good aspects, like adult Hanabi, I still can't stand it. Naruto and Sasuke got nerfed so much in it. The purpose of the village even became useless with the aliens in their place.

Instead of being a backup, for some reason, they became a burden. Most of the cast became useless in Boruto, and mostly the fights were about Naruto, Sasuke, or Boruto, who was given a lot of credit when most of the work was done by those two.

So, no Boruto in this world.

After venting about how much I dislike Boruto, I started working and also tried to remove most of the plot holes.
