18 Chapter 18: Kidnapped

JESSICA.

The whole place was filled by the cries of pain by those people inside the campus. I saw the big slumber of all people outside of the place that we've been hiding. They are crying in pain because of ruthlessness that Cedric and the council made to them. Cedric's people are killing each of them if they are found out to their hiding place.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit umabot kami sa ganito. The enemy were outsmarted us. They are threatened us to kill those innocent people if we fight them and didn't obey what they want. And it's the same for those trapped people, their families would be in danger if they didn't participate in their deathly game.

Napakabilis lumipas ng mga pangyayari at hindi ko alam kung bakit hanggang ngayon ay nagtatago pa rin kami at pinapanood ang mga nangyayari sa labas. We are powerless against them dahil hawak nila ang buhay ng isang libong taong naririto. Curse those Delacroix's men! Madadayang maglaro.

"How long we are going to stay here?" I asked impatiently.

I want to save those people. Ayokong maging viewers na lang dito. Pinagmasdan ko sila at wala man lang bahid ng pag-aalala ang nakikita ko sa mga mukha nila. Paano nilang nagagawang maging kalmado pagdating sa sitwasyong ito?

"Until the time for us will came.." Kris said while he have his straight and calm expression on his face.

Nairita ako sa tinuran nito. "Until when? You know, I'm getting sick of being a viewer here. I don't like to a useless person. How could all of you be this calm despite of this life and death situation? "

Tiffany smiled fakely at me. "Chill, beshy.  It's not just that simple. If we are going to faced them we will got killed. They are hundreds of them while us, we are only sixteen. Let's just wait for our time to come in."

"Tiffany is right. We need to wait.." Yuri agreed.

"Our two leaders have already a plan planted on their minds. Just trust them." Baekhyun said happily. Talagang nagagawa niya pang maging masaya sa sitwasyong ito? Buhay ang nakataya sa larong ito at hindi ako makakapayag na walang ginagawa ni isa.

"Oh yeah. I'm sure may plano na si Boss Junmyeon. Siya pa ba?" Tumingin si Kai kay Junmyeon at nginitian ito.

Malungkot na ngumiti si Junmyeon. "Actually, I don't have any plans yet. My mind isn't working right now. I'm sorry."

Napawi ang mga ngiti nina Kai at Baekhyun dahil sa mga tinuran nito. Napamaang ako sa sinabi niya samantalang ang mga Dark Ravens ay nanatiling nakahalukipkip at wala man lang karea-reaksiyon sa narinig.

"What about you,  Chanyeol? You are the genius of our group. I'm sure may plano ka na." Kyungsoo asked to the quiet Chanyeol. Kanina pa itong malalim ang iniisip tulad ni Kris.

"Yeah, so share it with us, right now." Sehun said.

Chanyeol meet our gazes and opened his mouth. "I don't have ones." Walang buhay na saad nito.

"What?!" Gulat nilang sabi. "What about the Dark Ravens?" Nilingon ni Baekhyun sina Kris. Umiling lang si Tao sa kanila at malungkot ang mga mata. Doon na ako nagsimulang mairita. So, we are hiding here for nothing?!

"Then why are we here if we doesn't have plans? We aren't playing dumb games here! Thousand of lives are on our hands and I thought we are going to save them?! " I asked irritatedly.

"We aren't going to save them all. We are going to sacrifice few lives. We aren't hero, Jessica." Kris said nonchalantly.

"What?!" sikmat ko dahil sa sinabi niya. I couldn't believe it! How dare this guy be so heartless?!

Nakita ko kung paano nagulat ang lahat sa sinabi ni Kris maski ang mga Dark Ravens ay nagulat rin sa sinabi ng kanilang walang kuwentang lider.

"What happened to our promise? You said that we will fight those stupid Delacroix, right?!" Hinawakan ako ni Tiffany sa braso ko at pinapakalma ako pero hindi ko na magawang kumalma dahil sa lalaking ito.

"I didn't promised you that thing. I said that we are going to fight them and not to be a hero for saving all the lives of those innocent people." Walang bakas ng emosyon ang nasa mukha nito. It's look likes he wasn't the Kris that I've known. He changed. I wonder why and it makes me too disappointed.

Tumawa ako ng pagak sa sinabi nito. "Really? Don't you know that it's a kind of cowardness, Kris? I thought all of you are members of some mafia organization but you are hiding here in the middle of despairs!"

"It's for your safety—"

Hindi ko pinatapos ang sinabi ng lalaki at malakas ko siyang sinampal sa pisngi niya. Napagilid ang mukha niya at muntik na siyang matumba kung hindi nga lang siya inalalayan nina Luhan at Lay.

"No. It's not! You are all doing this because all of you are heartless and doesn't care of what might be happen to the people in your surroundings! All of you are cruel! At nagsisi ako dahil katulad ninyo ako!" I can sense the rage in my voice right now and I feel the tears slowly coming out from the side of my eyes.

"Jessica, stop it!" I heard Tiffany said that to me but I didn't have the urge to listened to her.

"Our boss is thinking about your safety, Jessica. Please bear with him." Xiumin said.

Umiling ako sa sinabi into. "About my safety? Really? My safety isn't not that important than the lives that we are going to sacrifice! Your actions was nothing but a pure cowardness!"

Suddenly, an explosion coming from outside made us to stop in arguing. The scent of flames and smokes covered the entire place and I couldn't saw where are my comrades. I glanced at the direction of the explosion but before I could react someone grabbed my wrist and he took me away from the place that we've been hiding.

"Junmyeon..." I whispered his name while we are running away.

"It's okay, Jessica. Everything will gonna be fine.." He said nang makita niya ang nag-aalalang mukha ko para sa mga naiwan naming kasamahan roon.

"But they're stucked inside and I maybe called a coward if I leave them alone."

I was still mad at them but I couldn't help but to worried about them. They are still my friends anyway though we had an argument.

"The Delacroix men are there and based on my speculations, they are currently fighting with them." he said.

"So it's my job to save you from danger because you are their target." he added.

Hindi na ako nagsalita pagkatapos noon. Nagpatuloy kami sa pagtakbo at hindi ko maiwasang tingnan ang nangyayari sa paligid ko. The surroundings are filled with lifeless bodies of some students who got killed by those stupid monsters. It looks like the place was like a rivers of blood dahil sa nagkalat na mga dugo sa bawat madaanan namin.

I gritted my teeth. Hindi sana mapupunta sa ganito ang lahat kung walang taksil sa mga Elites. Kung hindi lamang siya nagtraydor, sana ay nagtagumpay ang misyon namin ngayon.

I stopped from running making Junmyeom to paused then throw a curious look at me. "Why did you stop?"

Kinuha ko ang silencer sa bulsa ko at itinutok sa kanya. Nanlaki ang kanyang mga mata sa pagkabigla dahil sa ginawa ko.

"Jessica? What's wrong? Bakit mo ako tinututukan ng baril?" he asked at nanatili pa rin ang pagkakunot ng noo sa kanyang mukha.

"Where are you taking me, traitor?" I asked without minding his reactions. I was so sure of what I've feeling.

"What?!"

"You are the one who sabotage our plan right? Only the four of us were knew about this plan at sigurado akong isa sa ating apat ang taksil at base sa hubog ng katawan mo at ang pabango mo, hindi nagkakalayo doon sa lalaking pumatay kay Tita Elene. So, tell me the truth. Are you the traitor? Why the hell are you doing this?!" I maintained my calm composture despite of the rage that I am feeling right now.

I wish he wouldn't lie. I wish I am wrong. Pero parang tumigil ang mundo ko sa susunod niyang sinabi.

"Yes, Jessica. I am the one who sabotage our plan."

Hindi ako makahinga dahil sa sinabi niya. Unti-unting nalaglag ang mga luha sa aking mga mata.

"Why?" My voice croaked.

Hindi siya makasagot kaagad. Nakita kong ang lungkot sa kanyang mga mata.

"I'm sorry—" My punch landed on his face kaya hindi niya matapos ang sasabihin niya.

"Why did you kill Tita Elene?!" Hindi ko maiwasang mapuno ng galit ang boses ko. I could feel that my heart breaks into pieces after hearing what he just said but the rage in my heart started to filled the gaps in my broken heart.

"I didn't kill her, Jessica. I may be the one who sabotaged our plan but I am not a killer for Pete's sake." He said almost pleading. But I managed not to listen at him.

"You think, I would believe you right now after you confessed all of your sins to me? You are the traitor and I don't think I can put my faith on you this time." Kumalma na ang boses ko ngunit naroroon pa rin ang bakas ng mga luha sa pisngi ko.

"Jessica,  please believe me.."

"Then, why did you betrayed us?! I've put my trust in you but you broke it. You've broke your promises! Kakampi mo ba ang mga Delacroix para sirain ang plano natin?"

I wish he said no. This is the last words that I want it to hear from his mouth.

"Yes.." Wala na siyang magawa kundi ang umamin. Shit. Mas masakit palang marinig mula sa kanya ang mga salitang iyon kahit ineexpect ko na.

"Then, you are the member of the Six Knights and you killed Tita Elene and her daughter Sunny." I said with the tune of finality.

"No. I don't know who killed them either. I was being blackmailed by those Delacroix. Someone told him about our plan and that's why they call me and they said that he will kill Tiffany and my family if I didn't obey them. I was shocked after hearing that they already knew that Tiffany was alive and where she is right now though wala pa akong napagsasabihan ni isa.." He explained.

"That's the reason why I sabotage our plan. I maybe the traitor but please hear me out.." he added.

I looked in his eyes. I can see that he was true to his words and he wasn't lying or acting like a dumb. I sighed.

"Why didn't you tell us about that?" I badly want to curse those guys after learning what they did to Junmyeon.

"They've been monitoring our movements, Jessica. Hindi ko alam kung paano nila nagagawa iyon pero sigurado akong may isang tao na nagmula sa Elites ang makagagawa non."

Napaisip ako sa sinabi ni Junmyeon. Isa sa mga Elites? Pero bakit magkatulad sila ng amoy ng pabango ni Junmyeon? If Junmyeon is not a member of Six Knights but he have also the same smell of perfume then who? And he can do stalking and monitoring our movements like a hired stalker?

I doubt that it wasn't Chanyeol because his figure wasn't look like the man who killed Tita Elene and of course his smell is not the same smell. It wasn't also Kris because he maybe a jerk but I can sense he was true to his words.

Tall.White complexion. Had a strong scent of perfume. Has a professional killer and stalker skills. Among the rest nine members, who might it be?

Wait.. Killer? Why does that word came out from my mind? Yes. He have that skills in killing people so fast and by the means of killing, iisa lang ang may kayang gawin ang bagay na iyon.

"Junmyeon, let's go back."

Hindi na makaalma si Junmyeon nang hinila ko na ang braso nito. Napamura ako sa isipan ko dahil hindi ko agad naisip ang bagay na iyon.

If my memory was still there, I saw how he killed Tita Elene and the same for Sunny and Tiffany. He was not a stalker but a professional hired killer. Masyado lang ako nagpadala sa mga nakikita ko at hindi ko napansin ang isang mahalagang bagay na nagpapatunay sa katauhan niya nang minsan mabangga ko siya nang ako ay nasa sementeryo pa.

He has a small mark on his neck na nakuha marahil sa isang patalim. Hindi ko lang iyon napansin dahil okupado ako sa hitsura ng lalaki.

"Kilala mo na ba ang killer? Bakit kailangan nating bumalik?" Takang tanong ni Junmyeon habang kinaladkad ko siya pabalik.

A smirked appears from my lips. "Yes. And I'm sure about it." Hahagilapin ko kung sino ang mayroong marka na ganoon.

"You don't have to go back, Jessica." A baritone and familiar voice spoke out coming from our back.

We paused for a bit when we heard his voice. I smirked. Finally, the wolf comes out from his hole, huh?

"I'm glad na ikaw ang kusang lumabas sa lungga mo, Killer." I mocked him.

He didn't flinched at what I said and walked towards our direction. It looks like he finally showed his true colors to us. He isn't that person that I know. He was back from his old self. And I saw the mark on his neck na nagpapatunay na siya nga ang killer.

"What's the meaning of this? Don't tell me you.."

The man stopped on his track. "Yes, Junmyeon. I am the real traitor." Bumaling sa akin ang kanyang mga malalamig at walang emosyon na mga mata. "Congratulations, Jessica. You already knew the truth. I'm impressed."

I noticed that Junmyeon clenched his fist after hearing those words from his co-member. I saw in his eyes the devastation and the disappointment regards the truth.

"Why did you betrayed us?!" I can sense the rage from Junmyeon's voice.

"I didn't really betrayed you. I am really a member of Six Knights from the start. And to tell you the truth, I already playing games with all of you."

"Fuck you!" Inambahan niya ng suntok ang lalaki ngunit nakailag agad ito at sinipa ang tiyan ni Junmyeon.

"Junmyeon!" I shouted at tumakbo sa kanya nang makita kong napahandusay siya sa damuhan at punong-puno ng dugo. Tila malakas ang ginawang pagsipa sa kanya ng lalaki.

"Jessica.." He was about to hold my face but I stopped him.

"No. Stay here. I am the one who will going to break him." I said at tumayo.

Hinarap ko ang lalaking prenteng nakatayo at nakahalukipkip habang nakatingin sa amin.

"How dare you to do this for your co-members?!" I asked calmly.

"I am not really their comrades, Jessica. That's why I am called a wolf." he said nonchalantly. "Hindi ako nakahilera sa katulad nilang mga aso."

I gritted my teeth and throw a punch straight at his face. Kamuntikan na siyang matumba at hindi niya inaasahan ang pag-atakeng iyon mula sa akin.

"That punch was for Junmyeon after you beating him up."

Mabilis siyang nakarecover at kinapa ang pisngi niyang may bahid ng sugat ngunit naroroon pa rin sa kanyang mga mata ang pagiging kalmado sa isang sitwasyon.

"I am not here to fight with you, Jessica." he said.

"What the hell did you want from me?!"

"I need your help."

After saying that someone throw a smoke bomb and I choked after smelling the smell of gas coming out from it. I couldn't see things clearly but I could hear Junmyeon's voice, shouting my name.

My head feels heavy and the eyelids of my eyes feels like it was wanted to close. Bumibigat na ang katawan ko at lumalabo na ang paningin ko.

Before everything went black, I whispered the traitor's name with full of sincerity while looking at him.

"Sehun.."
