Running

I had to do faster than I was used to. I couldn't miss my flight and no way I'd get caught. I tried to remain calm but it was hard considering the fact that I was messing with one of the biggest gangs in the area.

I was trying to hack the gang's system and attain the documents being transferred to them from the Italian mafia. The gang had a couple of hackers monitoring the transfer and they were making it harder.

Within a few minutes I was in the system and redirected the transfer to my laptop. I logged out to prevent them from tracking me once the transfer was complete but I switched on my tracking device. I wasn't clueless and I knew they'd find me even if I had logged out.

That's why I put a tracking device on a completely different building on the other side of the city.

Once they try to get to me, they'd follow the signal from my tracker. Previously they had placed it in my car once I made it clear I didn't want to work for them, nor did I work for anybody.

They planned on forcing me to work for them. I could see through the gang leader's fake smiles . Xavier. He always got what he wanted but I just turned the tables on him and his gang.

I took my suitcases and rushed out of the suite. The Uber I had ordered was already waiting for me. I got to the airport right on time to aboard the plane.

My next destination, Spain.

Xavier's POV

That girl!

She went right under our noses. I needed her in my plan. She was a valuable asset to have if I wanted to overthrow the biggest mafia in the world. She was one of the best hackers in the world, heck she was better than my men.

With her she held the power, I needed on my side. A daughter of the second greatest mafia in the world, and she thinks only her and her father knows but I do.

I planned on convincing her to join me but she flatly refused. One of the many times she had refused any offer I'd given her.

She'd refused to be my girlfriend. I started a very powerful gangs but she still refused.

She refuses my help when I know she goes through a lot. She works alone and so do I but , together we'd be unstoppable.

But she wants no romance, not with me nor with anyone. She has a goal in mind. She got hurt so much that she no longer trusts anyone.
