2 A really short encounter

"Hmm… And look at what we got here." A cloaked being said while he crossed his arms behind his back. In front of the cloaked being, over a completely white plain, there was Xiao Qiangwei sitting on the ground and holding his head in pain.

He gradually opened his eyes and looked up, before his eyes stopped on the figure in front of him. Xiao Qiangwei's gaze froze on the entity as reality distortions seemed to surround the entity, not leaving him a single moment to directly look at him.

Xiao Qiangwei quickly raised on his feet and raised his guard, before he instinctively activated the Hell Monarch gate again.

However, the entity was already gone from his sight…

"Calm down, boy." An arm went around his neck behind him and the entity walked at his side, as if they were some sort of good friends.

Xiao Qiangwei's eyes widened in shock at the sudden appearance of the entity at his side before the entity tightened his grasp around him, stopping Xiao Qiangwei from moving away from his hold.

It didn't matter how much Xiao Qiangwei, whose power matched someone at the 4th Divine Extinction Realm at the moment, tried to struggle; in the end, he couldn't move a single inch from his spot.

"As I said, calm down. After all, you are already dead."

The words that the entity let flow out from his mouth made Xiao Qiangwei stop struggling and use his mind a bit. Now that he thought, he really died some minutes ago, by suicide…

"...Who are you." Xiao Qiangwei asked while his body calmed down. The entity let go of him and stepped forward, facing Xiao Qiangwei.

The entity playfully extended his arms at his sides and introduced himself. "The One, God, The Supreme, The Omnipotent, The Trinity, Yes and No, The Almighty, The Real Winner… I am called with many names, but you can simply refer me as 'Author'.

Xiao Qiangwei, I was waiting for you to come here after your death." The 'Author' announced, surprising Xiao Qiangwei.

"...You were waiting for me?" He asked with a weirded tone.

"Umu. There aren't many people like you in the existence, and you were the first one to die between all of the candidates. I brought you here to give you a 'chance'... A chance to reach your objective." The Author extended one hand forward, before he continued.

"I'll reincarnate you in different multiverses, with each holding their own laws. Every time you come here, except for the first time, you will go through a semi-normal reincarnation.

You will forget everything that happens in your lives when you reincarnate, but you will also retain your original abilities and anything you might learn in the next lives that are related to your Profound Way."

The explanation was really direct, not giving Xiao Qiangwei a moment of pause to think about what he just heard. However, he simply stared at the entity's hand and asked some seconds later.

"What's the catch?"

"A catch, you say? There's no catch, I simply want for you, and indirectly me, to enjoy your future lives. Isn't that enough as an explanation?" The Author's words were really stupid… Tampering with space and time to have fun…

...Is this how someone with immeasurable power such as the Author thinks? That was really frightening even for Xiao Qiangwei.

However, he could do nothing but grasp the Author's hand. "...I'll accept."

Their hands shook and the Author nodded. "Great. I'll send you away then."

"W-Wait, now?!" Xiao Qiangwei was surprised at the haste.

"Well, of course now. When do you want to leave, the next day? There is no reason for you to stay here further, is there? After all, except for your legacies and some other particulars, you will lose everything. 

Also, a small advice from me, start to learn to forgive people." As soon as the Author finished to talk, Xiao Qiangwei's sight turned black.

Xiao Qiangwei blinked a couple of times, clearing out his vision. He found himself on the same pure white room the was in before, but there was some sort of… 'Lesser' feeling that this place gave off, compared to the one where Xiao Qiangwei and the Author were in.

He was currently sitting on a chair, with a office desk and another chair at the other side of said desk in front of him. The one who spoke was sitting on the other chair.

A slim and beautiful girl with ample breasts was the one speaking to him. She was quite beautiful even for his standards, who saw the Dragon Queen Shen Xi and murdered her in cold blood. He even killed the Brahma Goddess to obtain one of the World-Defying Heaven Manual, who was said to be the most beautiful girl in the Primal Chaos DImension.

However, this beautiful lady with blue hair and clothes carrying a blue color theme was able to fight against the two of them in terms of beauty.

"A short life, huh?" Xiao Qiangwei muttered under his breath. Well, for someone like him, 50 years were extremely short… "So, what happens now? I was told from a guy named Author that I would be reincarnated."

The girl blinked in surprise. "Author, you say? I never heard of a God or Goddess going by that name… Well, whatever, he might be another annoying newcomer who accidentally passed you to me, since you don't seem to have died in Japan.

There was a lot of things that Xiao Qiangwei wanted to ask, regarding this 'Television' and 'Manga', but then his mind focused on the first option.

"So I will be reincarnated with my memories like I was told?"

Once again, Aqua was taken by surprise from his words. "You already know about the secret third option?! Damn that newcomer! Stealing my explanations… The next time I see him, I will punch him straight in the face!"

"Umm… About the 'third option'..." Xiao Qiangwei tried to ask, since he never heard of a third option.

"Ah, yes, yes… Well, I still have the job to tell you how it works, and maybe he still left something out. Anyway, the third option consists on transporting you along with your memories in a completely different world that is currently under the threat of a Demon King.

We are Gods, and as such, we can't directly interact with humans in normal circumstances; however we can send people from other worlds there to help the humans there to win against the Demon King.

The people who died in that world were killed by the Demon King's army and were very afraid, saying that they didn't want to die like that again. Therefore, almost all of the people who died rejected reincarnating in that world again.

And since we're sending people over, we should find people that still yearn to live and send them over with their original bodies and memories. It'll be meaningless if they were to die immediately after going over, so we'll grant a privilege to all of those going to that world… How was it called… Right, a 'Cheat'.
