2 New Life, New Rules

My new name is Akina Cho, female.

I live with my parents, and older brother Akio Cho, who was currently working at the palace guard, in 1659.I got used to this new life easily. Though, it was a pain to try and hide my secret because getting used to customs here that were "old fashioned".

It turns out my family is pretty wealthy, a normal person would be happy, though this is living hell for me. If it was the usual day, one or two old, smelly lone sharks come over to try and buy me out for another of their pretty accessories. As soon I turned 17, I rushed away from home to fulfill my life in the palace. I said goodbye to mother and father, and our large dog Dai. I bet he will miss me the most.

I smiled sadly, looking onto the road of my new life. I glanced once more to my weeping mother wipping a tear with a handkerchief by my fathers side as they waved goodbye. " Goodbye mother, father! Take care! ", I shouted back, trying to sound cheerful. I went on, trying to not glance back at my parents below the hill. This was my new life, no turnimg back now. As I stepped my first few steps of being an independent woman, it felt, that for once in my life, I was FREE! No more rules, no more lone sharks, JUST LOVELY FREEDOM, and until I get to the palace I will have the best of my life!.... Or so I thought.
