2 Chapter 2 : Savior

"What the hell are you rambling about mate ? Just a minute ago you told me to get help, I thought you were dead, now you just want go?"

"Did you call anyone Cross? I need to know now!" thinking to myself how would I explain to him what just happen, but he quickly replies

"Yes of course I did "

"OK, pack a small bag, we need to leave before anyone comes."

"Why?"

"Just do it "

But when we were leaving, we faced the guards, they looked at us and without asking questions they used the taser to make us unconscious.

When I opened my eyes, I noticed that I was trapped in a cell, in front of me were more cells, each with prisoners I called out Cross, but he didn't respond.

When someone from the cell next to me said:

"If you are calling for the boy they brought with you, they took him to the lab"

"what is this place?"

"This is the laboratory where DNA Corp makes the experiences they do not want the public to know."

"Why am I stuck in a lab? What is wrong with me?"

"They are studying the side effects of the virus."

"What do you mean by side effects?"

"I have heard that it is different from person to person, some earn something extraordinary while others stay the same. In my case it was extremely painful.

By the way, my name is Draco, what's yours?"

"Alex, what do you mean in your case?"

"After I took the vaccine, my body started to change, the pain was unstoppable, so I scream as loud has I could until ashes started to come out of my mouth along with fire"

"what? Are you telling me that you can make fire coming out from the mouth?"

"Let's leave it at that, what about you? Why are you here?"

" I don't know, my hands only create a purple color... its kind of silly I can't do anything with it."

"Don't worry"

"why?"

"Mine took weeks before it, apeard yours is probably the same. How long did you take the vaccine?"

" Two, three days ago. It feels like my blood boiling, I don't understand "

Suddenly a door open, two men were carrying Cross by his arms, he seemed to be exhausted. They toss him in a cell and started heading for mine.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HIM??"

"Good you are awake, don't do anything funny otherwise is your friend that pay."

They threw a collar.

"Put it around your neck"

I comply with their orders.

"Let's go" one of the guards said while opening the cell door.

They took me throw a small corridor, to a surgery room, strapped me in to the bed and left.

I looked around trying to find something to cut the hands' immobilizer, there was a surgery blade on a platter, I try to grab it but I feel over. The guards came right back in, pick me up and left.

What the hell is going in this place...

The door open, a young scientist walked in with is assistant. They were talking about Cross.

"The last subject didn't respond well with the virus, we need to make sure that there is only a small change in the acceleration of this subject metabolism. Otherwise, this one will be like the last. "

"But Dr. we should be helping them, not kill them." That voice its seems familiar, could it be?

" They are no longer humans and you know it! know pass me the syringe."

"Of course Dr." she turns around, and pick up the surgery blade along with the syringe

"This one looks promising. The fastest I ever seen bonding completely with the virus. Extraordinary"

" why are you doing this?"

" You wouldn't understand, now I want lie this is going to hurt, a lot." Said with an evil smile.

"So will this Dr."

He turned around, just in time to see her piercing his stomach.

"This is for my people."while cutting him open, his blood soaked her lab coat.

She then turns to me and said:

"Hi Alex" while removing the immobilizer's and the collar. "My name is Kay, you may not remember but you can trust me."

"This isn't happening, you are not real "

"Easy Alex, that's no way to treat the person who just save your life. Let me explain."

"You better do! "

"look at your hands" they were turning purple " what you are feeling is space, that's your power, and trust me its one of a kind."

"Space???"

"Yes, your powers are based on manipulating the fabric of space. You will learn how to control it with time right now, lets get Cross and bail"

"let's go then"

She took out the lab coat, under it she had a military uniform.

"Come on, and be quiet"

She carefully open the door to see where they were. The guards were patrolling the corridor one at each door, switching places in sync.

"What now?" I ask

She took two small blades from her boots, and waited for the guard. Has he was standing at the door, she covered is mouth and stab him in the neck, dragging his lifeless body next to the Dr.

While hiding behind the door, out of nowhere she scream

"Help me he managed to broke free!"

The guard came rushing in, only for her to slice open his throat and join him to the rest.

"Now we are cleared "

we ran throw the corridor, and went to the cell block.

" We need to disable the doors, all of them."

"Alex, the plan is to get Cross and leave. Nothing more."

"Lets get everyone out. We can't leave them in here!"

"Fine but you will own me one."

She walked to the checkpoint and show some sort of ID, The guards let her in. ten, fifteen seconds later, she walked with her blade in hand, it has dripping small drops of blood.

" The door's will unlock in five minutes, we need to go get him and leave"

"OK" we ran to the cell block. I went up to Cross cell and wake him up.

"Cross, we have to go, the cells will open in a minute, I need to go find someone, Kay, stay with him." "Great, now I m a babysitter"

I ran to Draco cell.

"It's time to leave Draco. We are breaking out, the cells are about to open."

"All of them?"

"Yes, every single one."

" You need to run, before it's too late"

The door's started to unlock, Draco had a terrifying look.

"What's wrong?"

"We aren't the only thing down here that they have experimented on"

A growl appear out of nowhere, I turned around and a gigantic wolf was standing behind me.

" It's the beast!! Run"

Draco started running in Kay's direction, while I was left alone to face it.

It was just staring at me. I felt compel to touch him, so I raised my hand and has it got closer it started to glow.

The beast bowed his head, touching my hand. Its eyes started to change color from a red to purple.

I felt its fear and anger.

" Don't be afraid I won't hurt you. What's your name?"

And an echo coming from within said

"Fenrar"

" How did I understand you?"

"Because I chose to."

"What are you?"

"I am the last Ashet, keeper of the balance, and you are the one I been waiting for, my one true master."

"Why me?"

"It has been written so, since the begging of times. We descend to this dimension to restore the balance, but we were caught in the middle of a war between humans. They capture us and change us, turning us into to monster's. I managed to escape, only to be the last one left."

"You still didn't explain anything, and we don't have time for this. Just come with me."

"I will do was you wish."

Kay, Cross and Draco were expecting me, but was we got closer Kay pull out her sword and charged at Fenrar. I grab her before she could do something.

"Why are you with a Clakie?"

"His not a Clakie, trust me we need to go."

" We can't."

"Why not?"

"Because its full of soldiers outside!"

I looked, there was 5 SUV parked outside with about 30 soldiers.

" We can't go throw them, we will never make it."

" I am out of ideas!" exclaim Kay " I told you we should only save Cross. But you didn't listen to me"

I turned to Fenrar

"Is there something you can do?"

"Yes but I will need you to climb on top of me"

"Fine."

I climb on top of him, and place my hands around his neck.

"Now what?"

"Hold your breath."

A mist started to form around us, filling every corner with the room

"Now use your power."

The mist begin to change from gray to purple, I begin to feel a bliss from with in

and then a flash happen.
