17 Slightly less fat Zach

Zach approaches Grace while looking her up and down,

.Is there something wrong?.

She blinks a couple times and then replies in a quiet voice,

"No... Nothing, i was just wondering if you had any trouble on the way..."

She turns around and walks into the school while trying to call someone on her phone.

Zach thinks to himself about how she became such a bitch.

He gets to his classroom and finds out that sports day is going to happen once his suspension is done... Luckily?

Mr. Robinson approaches the class and tell everyone to follow him to weigh everyone and do BMI tests, They follow him into a sterile looking room that has scales and other medical equipment scattered about.

Zach starts to feel anxiety sink in and looks into the mirror... He takes a double check but can't shake the feeling that hes gotten taller again.

They all line up and get ready to be measured, eventually it's Zach's turn.

He steps onto the scale and it reveals that his weight is 100kg,

.I have gotten heavier?.

All the kids around him seem to think its funny and start giggling and making jokes.

Mr. Robinson steps in and says,

"Your weight probably increased because you seem to have had a growth spurt... Lets check"

He gets his height measured and it reveals that he has grown to 5.6ft slightly higher than all he peers apart from Tom.

.Now that i think about it, where is Tom?.

"He called in sick"

They also check blood pressure while everyone is here for a quick health check.

Everyone heads back to the classroom under Mr. Robinsons lead and start doing normal lessons, due to Zach's 1 point increase in intelligence his studies are coming along nicely. This is excluding French and Spanish where he excels above all his peers and has nearly become fluent in them.

At the end of the day Zach approaches Mr. Robinson for the book that they had agreed on,

"You really are a genius with language, you can make a career out of this youknow?"

"It depends on how many languages you can get under your belt and how lucky you are."

.Luck has never been my strong suit, thanks for the books Mr. Robinson. I won't see you next week but ill be training for sports day.

"Your training for sports day? Don't push yourself ok. Also make sure not to damage those books."

As Zach is walking home he is approached by a tall man who seems to be familiar,

"Yo, come with me. Your friend Grace wants to talk."

Zach knows what she wants but is kind of on the fence when it comes to killing her too,

He starts walking to an underpass as Zach follows, what he sees is four men and Grace standing in the middle of them. She greets Zach,

"Hey Zach, these are my new friends... I wanna ask you something; Where. Is. Raheem."

.No idea, did something happen to him?.

"BULLSHIT! He said he was having a meetup with you before school, where is he."

Zach looks around at the now five guys that are standing around, he notices that they are keeping their hands in their pockets like they are holding something.

.I honestly don't know.

Grace looks at Zachs face and frowns,

"Is this revenge because started ignoring you? That stunt you pulled in the nurses office, Beating up Raheem beforehand. Are you that jealous that you have to destroy my life?"

.Pfft, hahahhaha.

Zach starts laughing maniacally,

.Don't tell me that you didn't know that Raheem has been targeting me ever since he started dating you. Either he hates all guys that you were friends with or he just doesn't like me personally, I'm leaning towards the former because i didn't know him before Sajid turned up and ruined my life.

"No, you started it!"

Graces face goes red as her eyes tear up,

.You had a choice when Raheem tried to kill me though, you were even waiting for him to get back. Is it because i humiliated you in school?.

Zach checks around for people or cameras,

.Yeah, you might see him on the news soon.

The atmosphere changes when Zach says those words.

Grace looks at one of the guys beside her and nods before running away.

The five men pull out knives and seem to be wearing think leather gloves,

.So she was gonna try kill me even if i didn't know where he is.

"We already got paid."

.That's the answer i was looking for.

Zach knows Grace isn't rich nor does she have lots of connections, these guys must be street level thugs trying to make a quick buck. If he didn't think that he wouldn't try to fight them.

As they approach Zach he asks them,

.Who's your boss?.

They don't answer and keep advancing, some split off to try block exits for his escape.

Because there are no cameras or people around Zach feels pretty confident in being able to win this fight. But Zach wants to try without using his tail, just in case he can't use it due to some circumstance.
