11 Chapter 11

After a little while of just lying there, the old man got up. He looked a little pail but was still alive.

"You ok, old man?" Sol asked him.

He wasn't the least bit worried because this old man had survived finding a demon and making a contract. As far as he knew, Demons were really dangerous beasts that enjoyed killing. The only reason that Sol was different was that he was raised by a sex-obsessed snake that had taught him when to fight and when to not fight.

"I will be fine. You have just amazed me with the number of boons you have gained from the chamber. You were the first demon to go in but that seemed to be way too much." He said.

After that, Sol started talking about his rewards to the old man as they walked up the steps. Apparently, he had only been in the room for 30 minutes but for Sol, it felt like at least 2 hours. He figured that there must be some kind of time magic or something like that.

After a while, they finally made it outside, The sun was setting as they came out of the trapdoor. Sol went outside to look at it as he had done so many times before, Little did he know that it had been exactly a year since Sylvia had been talked from him.

"I am coming Sylvia."

...

The next day, he packed up everything he owned in a small bag and put it in his ring. He would take it all out before he got to the castle so the guards didn't suspect anything about him. He then had an experimental idea. He took about a coin and used his corruption magic on it. It took a little bit so he waited as he used his magic but when he was done, the coin seemed to have changed in some way. It still looked like a gold coin but it seemed to have a different feel to it.

He walked over to the old man and flipped it to him.

"Hay old man, hold that coin for a little bit," Sol said as he caught it.

When the old man touched it, he instantly froze. After a little bit, he stumbled to a chair and sat down on it, still holding the coin. 5 minutes had passed and nothing had happened yet. or at least nothing to the visible eye.

Internally, however, things were going crazy in the old man's system. His organs were being destroyed and then instantly replaces by new ones, heart, lungs, stomach, everything. This process of destruction caused the old man an extreme amount of pain but it attacked his nervous system first, cutting off pain receptors, severing nerves, and instantly replaced with newer, healthier ones.

After this power was finished internally, red blood vessels seemed to emerge all around the old man's body. Sol was a little shocked because what he saw next would make any churchman faint. His skin and muscle tissue were destroyed and replaced just as fast.

When the 10 minutes were up, something that was definitely not human stood up. It had the head and feet of a bull but the body of a man. And instead of 2 arms, it had for. Its body was completely red. And not like a red with rainbows but a blood red. He was what a person would think if they thought of a demonized minotaur.

It then began to change again. This time, its arms shrunk and its body began to look like that of a human once again.

"My master, what are your orders?" He asked.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... This is perfect!!!" Sol exclaimed as he inspected this new being,

After he was done inspecting, he too his new servant to act like he usually would and to spread the coins corruption to as many people as he could. He would start making a corrupted army out of these common people. he then left for the castle after giving his orders.

...

As he was walking up to the entrance, the guards stopped him.

"Halt!, why are you coming to the wall, kid?" The guards asked.

"I was told to come here by the recruiting Knights and show you this badge," Sol said as he pulled out the badge.

The guards almost jumped out of their armor.

"Oh yes, we were alerted that another Rose Knight candidate would be arriving today. Please follow me." One of the guards said.

Sol was led to a waiting carriage that would take him the rest of the way to the Recruitment Hall. It was nothing fancy and had a few other people in it. Most of them looked like nobility. It was a combination of men and women in the carriage. Sol had learned from the old man that this was one of the only human kingdoms that permitted women in the army as knights or pages.

Sol put his small bag in the spot under his feet. He looked around at the other people there and noticed that none of them had any luggage with them. He leaned over to the person next to him.

"Excuse me but. where is your guy's luggage? Didn't you bring anything with you?" He asked the person next to him.

"Silly commoner, of course, we have luggage. But we have money so we all hired a separate coach and had it stored there. We had heard a rumor that a pathetic commoner like yourself would be joining us but we all thought that it was just a joke. I wonder what you had to do to get in here ... Pay off the guards?" The person said arrogantly.

Sol could just look at him. Who would act so arrogantly when you don't know the insultee's power? But for now, Sol just smiled and thanked the man, internally plotting what he would do to this sucker. Not just outsmart or beat him in training like a human would do but how about steal everyone he held dear? Yes, this sounded like a good idea. Have fun with mother dearest? Maybe a sister to a lover as well? Kill the father right in front of him? Yes ... these all sounded like good ideas.

He looked around the carriage once again and found hidden eyes to discussing the people's faces. Oh yes ... he would have his fun alright. But just after he got Sylvia back. She was a top priority.

After the little dispute, he learned where he stood in these people's eyes. The carriage also started to move towards the castle.

Conversations were struck up, laughs were exchanged, and Sol was 100% left out. It didn't bother him though. He used his time to think about ... very very ... VERY interesting things if you know what I mean. The journey continued for a good 30 minutes of suffering for Sol. He had to listen to these idiot nobles talk about things like the latest piece of clothing or the hottest girls.

Sol was getting a little hungry because he had not drained anythings life force for a few days so he would have to find a person to use.
