The Hunters School

As Gil was looking around he saw people doing the same. He noticed although every one seemed to be the same age some people had peculiar traits about them, the most obvious was one boy that was at least 2 foot taller then every one else. As people where still coming through the gates other people started talking to each other hoping to make friends with the more powerfully people.

As Gil had never had friends since he was moving so often, he started to head towards the castles entrance with a few other students.

When Gil got to the huge castles doors, he noticed a stage and rows of benches in the large field to the right. Gil decided to head to to the furthest bench and sit there and wait for others to arrive.

Whilst waiting, Gil was looking around and remembered he had mana detection, he decided to activate it and look at the people that where also sitting on the benches. The aura around them was stronger then the one he saw from his rain coat, but there was one person that had the strongest out of all of them. She was sitting at the opposite side of the area to Gil, and she had a pale blue aura around her.

He tried to inspect her and this screen appeared:

He was wondering why it didn't show the same information as his screen such as the breakdown of status points. As he was deep in though the other people started to populate the benches. As the last few people started to take there seats the castle doors and 5 people made there was to the plate form in front of the bench's.

"Welcome, new students, today we will begin your first test to understand your powers and how best to develop them to better help humanity" The largest man said. "My name is Leon" after he said this, there was a large gasp heard around the benches.

"Now, now. please let Leon finish" a rather small women said.

"Thank you Kat. As I was about to say your 3 years here will be spent honing your powers and skill to fight the monsters from the Gates. Once you have reached the end of your stay here you will be able to pick your carer path." After pausing for a while to let the people take this news in Leon continued.

"We will now take you to test your powers and ability's to get a better under standing. Now will the first row please follow Kat." At this Kat got up and started to head back to the castle gates. There was a suddenly rush of the people on the first row chasing after her. For a small person she moved rather fast Gil thought. Once the last person from the first row was through the castle door Leon called another name and the same happened again. This happened twice more before it was just the last set of rows, which Gil was in.

"Now, since its just us here" Leon said "I see no point of going to a different area. Please could you all move to side whilst i clear this away."

As everyone started to move to the side, Gil realised he still had his mana detection on, when suddenly all the bench's had a light grey glow around them before they disappeared and where replaced with racks of different weapons.

[Mana manipulation witnessed. Understanding of mana increased.]

[New stat unlocked: Intelligence]

[New ability unlocked: mana manipulation]

Gil quickly checked the information regarding new stats and ability and skimmed throw the description.

Intelligence - Allows the user to use mana. The higher the stat the more power the user can be used.

Mana Manipulation - Allows the user to manipulate all types if mana. The higher the level the better the control and ability.

This was very exiting news for Gil as he now thought he would be able to start using mana.

Without thinking he added the 3 free stat points into intelligence in hopes something would happen before the test began.
