Gil and the rest made there way out of the castle and saw a row of benches with a podium at the front, there where already several people sat on the benches and some students and teachers on the podium.
"Looks like the start of School again Tash" Gil said remembering his first day here.
"Yeah, where shall we sit" Tash added
"In the middle" Hope suggested and moved over there before anyone could say otherwise.
As they all made there way there Gil noticed Harry was staring at him the whole time. GIl sat at the end of one side next to Ruby, who was busy talking to Jade and Will. Gil took this time to inspect all of the students on the podium.

Gil read the screen after inspecting Harry and didn't expect the detailed response to the power. Gil moved and looked at the boy sat to the left of Harry.

Gil had read about this power before, it was from someone who called them selves the 'Commander of the dead'. They went onto a battle field and started to control the monsters of all the fallen monsters. Making note Gil looked to the girl to the right of Gil.

After Gil stopped reading, he made a note to stay away from her until he know more about his own power. Just as Gil was about to look away Chloe locked eyes with him, before talking to Harry again. Now all the students where there and Leon appeared followed by Ava through one of Leons rifts.
"Good morning all" Ava's voice rang out "We are here to announce several things. First being a congratulations to Harry for being the first years representative. This comes with many benefits and all should aim to take his spot in the future, yes this position can pass from student to student its not only the strongest that are offered this" Ava paused for just a second
"Sometimes its the second strongest" Leon called before hiding in his rift, a split second later a huge bolt of thunder came from Ava onto the spot Leon was at.
"Uhh, yes sometimes its the second strongest" Ava sighed, at this statement a surge of talk went through the students and several looked at Gil. "Now getting back on topic, Harry is going to announce his choice for the year competition"
Harry stood up and thanked Ava before moving to the front of the podium.
"Good morning everyone" Harry said trying to copy Ava and project his voice which didnt work. Clearing his voice he tried again "So i have thought long and hard about ways we can incorporate both sides of students and not copy our seniors and have decided on a game i used to play, Royalty" Several students who know the game started to cheer and others who didnt waited for Harry to go on.
"In royalty there is a King or Queen on each team, they are protected by there 2-8 knights and the rest of the team are soldiers. The soldiers have to make there way to the other teams King or Queen and get hold of the flag they are holding" Harry explained the rules "The way we will incorporate everyone's power is to have 1 day to build a 'Castle" that the Royalty's are in and have specific soldiers that are for support. I hope that by doing this we include everyone and make sure all have a part to play" Harry ended and walked back to his seat as some of the students cheered louder for it.
"That sounds like it will be a hell of a competition, similar to the castle defence held in the inter high competition" Ava said walking back up to the platform. "The next point os to clarify the date for this, it will be held in 4 weeks on Tuesday morning giving Monday to prepare the castle. The last point is about what happens the Friday of that week, the first years only get 3 times of the year. The first is the that Friday, you get 2 weeks of that time. The next one is after the inter school competition which happens 2 months from when you are back, again this is 2 weeks long. The last time of is after the 4 school competition at the end of the year, meaning you get a 5 month period with no rest, but you get one month of from then" Ava finished.
"Now we are open to any question you may want to ask about anything you would like" Ava asked taking a seat again, soon several voices where calling out asking questions at once. "Please one at a time, raise your hand and we will select you" Ava sighed rubbing her head.
"Who is the strongest in this year if its not Harry" The first person picked asked eagerly
"Thats not for us to say, truthy i would have liked Leon not to say anything" Ava answered picking the next student
"Why are there only 3 breaks this year?"
"Its to allow time for your powers to adjust, think of it like you building a muscle. Training non stop each day could have a negative effect, but having a small rest can allow it to recover and grow. Thats the same principle we have, allowing your power to rest and grow before pushing it to the extreme when your back" Ava replied
"How do we become the representative of the year" Tash asked
"Several areas. Normally it is the person with the highest Grade, in this case Harry has allowed his to be known so if someone had one higher then 9F then they would be eligible. Another way is if the current person doesn't perform to the standard we want them to" Ava said
"Whats the content for the 4 school competition" One student asks
"That changes each year, each school picks 2 competitions and there are already 2 set in stone, the castle defence and the tournament. That means there will be a total of 10 competitions, the 2 put forward by each school needs to be an attack one and a support one"
The rest of the morning was like this before they where allowed to leave for lunch, all the students made there way to the food hall. As Gil was about to Hope pulled him back.
"Will has lunch thinking this would happen" Hope said, leading them all against the flow of the crowed to the lake. Once they sat there Gil made 8 small orbs of fire to keep them all warm.
"Your control seems a lot better" Tash said looking at the equal orbs of fire leave Gils hand
"Thanks to Tilly" Gil answered
The group all sat down and started to eat the food Will brought out of the subspace.
"What are you planning to do fore the rest of the week" Jade asked everyone
"Training" Ruby said attempting to mimic Gil's voice getting a laugh from everyone
"Well what else is there to do" Gil retorted
"Thats true but you dont need to train for every hour of the day" Tash answered
"What are you lot going to do then" Gil answered
"Train... then meet and talk" Hope said
"Talk about what" Gil asked
"Depends each day could be something else" Ruby said
"If theres anything interesting then you know where ill be" Gil added
The group spent the rest of the lunch talking about random things before they all went there separate way. Gil and Tash to the closest training ground and showed of the new skills they developed.
"Step back, this is deadly" Gil warned causing Tash to back up several meters
Gil aimed his hand to the ground and slowly cause a flower to grow from it.
"Is that it" Tash asked
"Yep" Gil laughed "I learnt other things that are helpful when fighting but its a bit hard to show. How about you?"
"Stay there" Tash said to Gil
The air around Gil slowly started to get cold, and he could see his breath now. Slowly there was snowflakes forming and swirling around Tash getting faster and faster. Gil activated mana detection and saw large and small light blue mana getting stronger the closer to Tash he looked.
"How are you making that" Gil asked
"Releasing small amounts of frost into the air and then increasing the strength of the larger bit, slowly causing a blizzard" Tash explained.
Gil was watching as Tash's blizzard expanded and expanded until whole thing disappeared. Gil was thinking of something and decided to try., walking up to Tash he left a trail of mist as cold as he could from his hands. Raising them above his head and poring out as much as possible a large fog was now emerging.
"Can you turn this into a blizzard?" Gil asked turning to Tash.
"Ill try" Tash closed her eyes, suddenly mist started to get colder and colder. Gil could feel his mana getting heavier as the water in the most where freezing.
"I think it worked" Tash said opening her eyes.
The two spent several hours displaying the skills they had worked on and testing different types of combined attacks. After the sun went down Tash went to the food hall for dinner and left Gil there training, Gil resumed the type of training him and Tilly would do for several more hours before heading beck to his room for 1 in the morning.
