2 Chapter two 

Ying Zetian sat up, finally awoke from the nightmare that held her in its clutches. This nightmare has been following the original owner of this body ever since she was five years old. From the memories of the original owner of this body, Ying Zetian knew that the original owner of this body is also named Ying Zetian. Ying Zetian is eight years old now and had been a beggar ever since she was five years old.

The nightmare was that of the original owner of this body personally seeing how her father killed her mother and her whole family right in front of her. Ying Zetian's mother Ying Meei Meei had hidden her in a secret passageway that only she knew and warned her to be quiet.

This secret passageway had a hole that can see what is happening outside. The original owner of this body is also a smart child. So, after an extremely long time, Ying Zetian could confirm the killing has ended than she climbs out of the passageway. It was than Ying Zetian nanny had came back and found her alive.

Ying Zetian nanny had brought her out of the house that she has been staying for five years and finally saw the death of her whole family. Ying Zetian was a seven month ago premature baby, so she was still a small size child despite a good living for the first five years of her life. Ying Zetian nanny had thrown her into the beggar temple before running off.

Ying Zetian could still remember what her nanny told her then. Ying Zetian nanny told her to stay alive to seek revenge for her mother and her whole family. And Ying Zetian nanny had told her one of the safest ways to stay alive is to stay in the view of her enemies. One, Ying Zetian enemies never expected her to be alive. And second, Ying Zetian enemies even if knowing that she was still alive will never expected her to be still in the capital.

It was only when Ying Zetian is older than she also realized what her nanny had did. Ying Zetian nanny had wanted to mislead the direction of her father just in the event of one day he knew that Ying Zetian is alive. Ying Zetian's father is a smart and careful man and will sure to check every single body that was in the house. After her nanny had thrown Ying Zetian into the beggar temple, she had escape towards the direction of the entrance of the capital.

Although Ying Zetian knew that it was dangerous for her to do so. Ying Zetian still followed her nanny a safe distance away. it was than Ying Zetian had saw the dark guard that will always follow her father kill her nanny. Ying Zetian knew that she could not sink into the darkness that is almost consuming her. While Ying Zetian has been following her nanny, she had already taken the opportunity to steal a shear from one of the houses that she passed by.

Ying Zetian cut her hair and clothes into tatters and also grab mud from the ground and spread it all over her face and body. Ying Zetian thus pretends to be a real beggar and walk past the body of her nanny. Along with the death of her grandparent's family and her mother, Ying Zetian use the memory of the death of her nanny to support her thirst for revenge. Ying Zetian had saw the bloody body of her nanny and in her arms was a girl that was estimated to be five years old.

Ying Zetian nanny had partially destroyed the face of the five years old girl by slicing it. But from the remaining features that could still be seen of the five years old girl, it was remarkably similar to Ying Zetian. Three years later the original Ying Zetian finally had died from the stress of the live of a beggar. Sometimes the dead is better as they do not need to suffer anymore. The original Ying Zetian had known that she could not find a stable job as she was too young, and she do not want to bring attention to herself even if she had dressed herself like a boy. So that is why the original Ying Zetian had finally died as the food and money she could get as a beggar is not enough to maintain the originally weak body.
