9 Chapter nine 

Two Years later

Ten years old Ying Zetian began her usual daily routine after just sleeping for six hours. Originally Ying Zetian only sleep four hours and it was extended to six hours due to Tang Ying's request as she worry for young Ying Zetian body.

Ying Zetian for two years had literally sucked all the knowledge she could from Fan Zhong. So, Ying Zetian now is a skilled doctor and a fighter on par with her teacher Fan Zhong.

Ying Zetian began her daily routine with drinking bitter medicine that will delay the development of her body. Since Ying Zetian was adopted by Tang Ying, she had already decided to dress up as a male. Tai Ping society is a seriously male oriented society, and a female is strictly controlled. In another words, a female in Tai Ping society is more like a good that can be sold for a good price.

Next Ying Zetian will eat a pill that she developed herself that will allow her body to develop the features of a boy. Ying Zetian was so successful that even the kids who was with her in the broken temple also called her elder brother. Ying Zetian could only say that it was lucky now that she was still young, and her body have not been developed. Ying Zetian is really not looking forward to the day where she needs to bind her body in order to be a male.

Next Ying Zetian will spend one hour practicing her martial arts before proceeding to deal with all the matters that arise from her empire. Ever since Ying Zetian was adopted, she had taken over Tang Ying's brothel. And for the next two years, Ying Zetian had developed her empire into You Ye. Now, Ying Zetian's empire span across Tai Ping and You Ye and is showing signs of being able to spread into two other countries, Rouran and Qitan.

Ying Zetian had developed her empire by selling information and use the money gotten to further developed other parts of her empire. Of course, Ying Zetian had used some modern components to develop her empire. Like getting her brothels to have strip, pole dancing and developing some modern items for sales in her shop across You Ye and Tai Ping. But information and her brothels are the main components of her empire as it is just too income generating.

The people of You Ye was skilled in developing weapons of war so that is why Ying Zetian choose the country for development next after Tai Ping. But Rouran and Qitan is most famous for their war horses so no matter what it takes, Ying Zetian will develop her empire into these two countries. And why Ying Zetian is able to develop her empire all through Tai Ping and You Ye.
