What Changed Her?

"Why are you shouting? I have said nothing to you and to your family. That woman is…"

"Punch!" before he could say another word.. A punch landed on his nose and he was bleeding. 

"You! You!" the boy was astonished. He could not believe that Len hit him.

The ever so cold and silent boy just hit him on the nose when they were out in public.

He could feel the eyes of the girl turning to them and he felt embarrassed and humiliated.

"The woman you are talking about is my mother. A part of my family and I would not accept if a cheap boy like you who knows nothing would try to insult her." Seb's eyes widened. Everyone knew that Len did not have a good relationship with his step mother.

The new empress has always been cold to him. She had even mocked him from time to time. But who would have thought that boy would still take her side.

It could only mean that he was so deprived of love that he was ready to take the lies he was fed.
