"Do not tell me that you will say she had fallen on her own and has hit the wall and bled upto being conscious?" Before Kath could think about the matter clearly, Marquis had already spat the only possibility in his mockery that she frowned.

If she would give that possibility now it would only be taken as an excuse.

"As you said, that no one had seen me coming out of the powder room, then how could I be there in the first place? You do not take me as a witch that could teleport, right?" she asked in a cold voice as she stared at all of them with a confident look on her face.

Her voice did not sound panicked at all. "I did walk towards the powder room but I never entered. I went to the passage on the other side. I do not know what happened to your daughter inside the washroom." 

She shook her head and took a sigh, "do not tell me that you are creating such an uproar against me instead of taking care of your daughter when she is injured.
