61 Song Zihao Has Mental Breakdown But He Didn't Really Have a Brain to Begin With

Song Zihao stood trembling like a fool for a good twenty minutes. It was understandable since he had never been exposed to anything quite like what had just happened. He was also a coward in general so it wasn't all that shocking either.

He wrapped his arms around his chest and slowly lowered into a fetal position.

Bai Jingfei stood next to him and stretched her arm out to pat his head. She didn't even have to squat to reach his head since he was quite a bit taller than her.

"I'm scared…" whimpered Song Zihao.

For the first time ever, Bai Jingfei felt pity for Song Zihao.

'Imagine being such a huge wimp.' she thought, 'Life must be so hard for him.'

"It's okay. It's all over now." said Bai Jingfei, lying through her teeth. The tree was still on fire and nothing in the shed would be retrievable since it had basically disappeared from existence.

At least the worst was over.

Hearing the blast a few people from the jianghu as well as Sun Mei and Song Yongrui rushed out to check on what happened. Unlike Sun Mei who was running toward Bai Jingfei, Song Yongrui was walking over casually.

"So it worked. I'm quite impressed." said Song Yongrui, patting Bai Jingfei's head. It was quite a funny chain. A tall gangster patting the head of a loli patting the head of a dumb dumb.

Sun Mei rushed into the chaos and hugged Bai Jingfei. She pushed away Song Yongrui's hand with a glare and pulled Bai Jingfei into her embrace.

"FeiFei are you okay? What happened here?" she looked around left and right before her eyes fell on Song Zihao, "It was you wasn't it? What were you doing here! You put FeiFei at so much risk!"

Bai Jingfei wasn't in the mood to correct Sun Mei and Song Zihao was well out of his mind so Sun Mei continued.

"Are you proud of what you've done? Scaring an innocent child?" she yelled, rubbing Bai Jingfei's head that was now firmly placed against her chest.

She glared at Song Zihao before a faint sob was heard. It wasn't exactly tearful but it was definitely hilarious. It sounded much like what Bai Jingfei expected a dying donkey to sound like.

"That was so scary!" cried Song Zihao, his face now dripping with tears.

"What was scary?" asked Bai Jingfei innocently.

"You- You- Crazy lady! I won't eat my pee! You can eat it if you want but I won't! Spiders don't scare me! You crazy lady!" he yelled like a maniac. He was clearly delirious.

"You want to eat your pee? Such strange interests you have, young master!"

Song Zihao began flailing his arms but turned back to Bai Jingfei before collapsing, "You're crazy. But you're kind of cool."

Bai Jingfei grinned, "Thank you for the compliment young master~"

By now everyone had gathered around the burning tree and a group of people were busy extinguishing the flames with blankets and water. They were doing it casually as if fires were a daily occurrence.

Worried that his brother who had already lost a mind he had barely possessed would begin screeching again, Song Yongrui pointed to a muscular member of the jianghu.

"Take the young master to his room. Let him get some rest." coughed Song Yongrui before turning to Bai Jingfei and Sun Mei, "Don't worry he'll be fine."

They weren't too concerned with Song Zihao. He was a rather dramatic person either way.

'Let the child scream till it exhausts itself, then consume its candy' was one of Bai Jingfei's mottoes.

Sun Mei turned to Song Yongrui. Her eyes were shooting daggers but she didn't say anything. His brother had just been dragged off sobbing after she gave him a scolding. It wouldn't be very polite to start yelling at him too.

"You should go take care of him~" said Bai Jingfei casually to Song Yongrui.

Sun Mei nodded vigorously too. She wanted to get rid of him too, so that she could make sure Bai Jingfei was fine, and then they could discuss what they would be doing after building the dam.

"Yes! Yes! Your brother needs you right now. Don't dilly dally here! Go save your brother! He has trauma! He's crying!"

Sun Mei was just one step away from saying "Shoo shoo!" when Song Yongrui interrupted her at the perfect time. He basically shut her up by speaking.

"Okay, I'll be off then." said Song Yongrui to Bai Jingfei, ignoring Sun Mei, "Should I blow you a kiss or just leave?"

Bai Jingfei took one look at his grin and then stuffed her face back into Sun Mei's chest and said in a muffled voice, "Just leave…"

If one looked closely it would be obvious that her ears had turned red and she was embarrassed beyond comparison. It had already blown her ego up when she'd blown a kiss to him. She was now speechless.

'What exactly was I thinking when I did that? Why did I do that? Why would anyone do that?'

The answer to all three of those questions was 'he's hot' but Bai Jingfei was not prepared for that conversation.

"I'll see you tomorrow then, FeiFei" whispered Song Yongrui.

"Yeah… We can test the powder out together."

Testing powder out together doesn't have a very positive implication wherever it is said. Song Yongrui knew she was talking about the explosives but Sun Mei did not.

"What powder? Nobody will be trying out any powders. Especially not FeiFei. FeiFei where did you learn this sort of nonsense from?" babbled Sun Mei.

Bai Jingfei grinned and looked up at Sun Mei, "The explosive powder MeiMei. What other powder could it be?"

Sun Mei swallowed her words and then smiled, "I was just blabbering FeiFei. Let's go back. Please?"

Bai Jingfei nodded and smiled at Song Yongrui before leaving with Sun Mei. The next day was definitely going to be a lot of fun.
