As the guards poured into the room, Feng Guang leaned onto the bed that the emperor was lying dead in. He didn't have the energy to stand since his legs had given way.

His body weight felt so much heavier so suddenly, as if the world's weight had suddenly fallen on him. He was stunned at what he had just seen. It was a gruesome scene by itself, but combined with the fact that it was emperor, and that he was going to be the pain murder suspect, it was all a blur.

The whole world felt like it was spinning, and Feng Guang could only silently shed some painful tears. There was nothing else to be said.

He was the one who first saw the dead emperor.

He could only think of all of the accusations that were going to be flying against him. He knew that it was going to be bad news, but he didn't know what to do anymore. All he could do was lean against the bed and sob.
