4 LIFE WAS LIKE A ROLLER COASTER

Driving, Mr Joe kept stealing glances at Mia. He had never seen a woman who looked so innocent and beautiful while sleeping. It was like she had forgotten all the problems of the world.

Suddenly, Mia's eyes opened, and she asked, staring at Mr Joe, "Uncle, please can you drop me off somewhere?"

Mr Joe asked, "Where would you like to go?"

Mia explained, "Well, I have been missing for over five days now, so I'm sure my mom and siblings would be worried. So, I need to meet them in person before I go to Mr. Parker's house."

Understanding her, Mr Joe said, "Well, in that case, rest assured. We will arrive at your destination in no time." Saying that Mr Joe increased the car's speed.

They finally reached their destination and Mia got down from the car and walked towards the entrance of her old apartment.

Mia bought the apartment because it was close to her workplace, so she usually never came home, only during weekends or on special occasions.

Entering the apartment, Mia saw her two siblings sitting on the chair, they looked anxious and scared, "Kate, Nate…" She called out, walking towards them.

Seeing their sister after a long while, mixed emotions swirled in Kate and Nate's eyes.

They were pleased to see her and also a little sad. Walking towards their sister, Nate and Kate hugged her, with tears coming out of their eyes.

"Where have you been? You don't know how worried we have been for the past four days," Kate sobbed.

"I'm sorry guys. I know you were all worried about me, but I promise I will explain everything. But first please can you tell me where mom is?" she apologised, trying to comfort them.

Kate stared at Mia and said, "That's another problem. Since you disappeared, we have been looking for you everywhere. So this morning mom decided to go back home, to ask dad whether he knows where you are."

Shocked, Mia responded, "WHAT?!! How long has she been gone?"

"For about an hour now," Nate answered.

Mia said, "Don't worry. I will go get mom, and don't worry I will bring her back with me and explain everything to you. For now, you two just wait here, ok."

"Okay Sis!" they both nodded in response to Mia's words.

"We will wait for you, please be careful," Kate added.

"Don't worry, I will," assuring them before she left the apartment. She entered the car and explained her situation to Mr Joe. With that, the car drove off.

Mia just sat down quietly, she was worried about her mother. Her mother going back to that house and seeing that man who called himself their father, was something big. She knew it was going to leave a huge mark on her heart.

Life was really like a roller coaster. Just last night, she had become the wife of Eden Parker and mother to his daughter and now, she was going to see the same people who put her and her family in their condition.

She was a hundred percent sure that she was going to get her revenge. She was going to make them pay for everything they had done to her, her mother and siblings.

Mia arrived at her father's house. It was a big and beautiful mansion. This was the place she and her siblings grew up in. It used to be her home, but now she hates every single part of it.

It now belonged to that disgusting woman who took everything from her mother and her family.

Walking towards the entrance, Mia could hear her mother's voice from outside. She could feel the pain in her mother's voice, so she quickly rushed in.

A few minutes ago,

Mia's mother arrived at the Queen's mansion and quickly rushed inside. Her daughter has been missing for five days now, and she has been looking for her everywhere. She was sure that it was that wicked woman and her daughter who did something bad to her daughter, and she was going to make them pay.

Entering the house, Mrs Queen saw Anna and her daughter Amy drinking tea and chatting like the house and money was theirs. Filled with rage, Mrs Queen walked toward them and gave Anna a big slap on her face.

Shocked to see Alice walk in, before Anna could say a word she felt something hard and painful on her fair cheeks. It turns out that Alice had given her a big slap.

Filled with anger, Anna shouted, "YOU B***h how dare you slap me yo…." Before Anna could finish her words, she was given another slap from Alice.

Red hand marks could be seen on her fair cheek. It was so bruised that some blood oozed out from it.

"This is what a disgusting person like you deserve, after what you and your awful daughter have done to my Mai."

"What nonsense are you talking about, and how dare you raise your hands on me and call me daughter awful? You little…"

"Yes I know! You've finally taken everything from me. You've taken my husband, house, and status. But do you know something that will never change, is that you will always be a mistress and I will always be the main wife. You are nothing but just a husband snatcher and nothing more? Now listen to me carefully. I won't take it easy on anyone who has done anything to harm my children, you better bring my daughter back unless....."

"Unless what, what will you do, Alice. You can't even fight for your rights and husband. What makes you think you will be able to fight for your daughter....."

Before Anna could finish her words, she was interrupted by someone no one expected to see.

"You are wrong Anna, my mom is a lioness, and when she wants something, no one can stop her. Not even you!" Mia walked in, she moved towards her mother and held her hand.

Shock from seeing her daughter rendered Alice speechless. All she did was look at her daughter as she spoke to Anna, "You are nothing, but just a mistress as my mother said. So you should know your limits!"

Shocked to see Mia appear in front of them in one piece, both mother and daughter pair looked at her frightened, and said, "Y-y-you, what are you doing here ….?"

Seeing the expression on their faces, Mia smiled and said, "What, are you shocked to see me? Ooh I'm sure you were expecting me to be in another city by now huh! Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but that's never going to happen. I'm back! Safe and sound and I will not let you and your daughter hurt my family again. From now on, stay away from me and my family! Or else you will regret it," after saying that, Mia took her mother's hand, turned around and walked away.

She was leaving this life behind, now she was a reborn. She was not going to let anyone mistreat her and her family ever again. Those who made her shed tears before were going to pay because she was now "Mia Parker."
