6 A Date With Jess.

Soon after my encounter with Zack, Alex arrived.

He ordered an ice coffee "why you look so flustered?" he asked as he raised he's brow at me "me? I'm just getting a bit hot." I lied, Alex gave me a questioning look.

I hate that Zack has this affect on me and we hardly know eachother, I suppose it's just physical attraction, i mean it couldn't possibly be anything else, right?

"my day was shitty, my ex decided to hit me up and me being the greedy slut that I am couldn't deny him of his request", he rolled his eyes in annoyance at himself.

"who's this ex if you don't mind me asking?" I cocked a brow at him,"Ethan, total sex God, that man knows what he's doing I tell you ", he licked his lips hungrily.

"we've been on and off for months now, I've tried to move on but I'm addicted." he shrugged.

"well if he makes you happy, nothing else really matters. " I gave him a small knowing smile, I've been there too.

"he does, it's just sometimes he can seriously annoy the shit out of me." he balled his fist in frustration ,"if you don't mind me asking, why did you guys break up in the first place?" I couldn't help but ask, call me curious.

"he cheated on me with some skank while he was on holiday in LA." he said nonchalantly but I could here the hurt in his voice. "I'm sorry to hear, I thought he's gay too?" I furrowed my brow, Alex started giggling "he's bisexual honey, he goes both ways but he seems to keep coming my way. " he smirked.

"toxic much." I giggled.

Alex and I continued our conversation, I told him about my two best friends Elle and Jordan, I told him about Josh as well but only up until the point to when we split, no details. I didn't give him a reason as I felt it was personal and I felt ashamed.

"hi Emma! " Jess shouted from the other side of the Cafe, she walked towards our table."hi Jess," i smile and give her a brief hug. "who's this handsome man Em?" she wiggled her eyebrows at me, "this is Alex, my roommate." he gave her a soft smile "hi I'm Alex," he shook her hand "hi I'm Jessica but you can call me Jess. " she gave him a flirtatious smile as she battered her eyelashes at him.

"I'm gay." Alex blurted, Jess' eyes went wide "oh shit, I'm sorry, I didn't know, " she laughs nervously, feeling slightly embarrassed. "it's fine, many people don't." he smiled shyly.

"oh Emma I've been meaning to ask you if you wanna grab a drink with me tonight?" she sat down next to Alex, "yeah sure, what time you wanna leave?" I took a sip of my iced coffee "6pm should be fine, we'll be going to Sugars Bar and Grill. I'm actaully meeting a friend there but I wanted to hang out with you too. "

Alex looked confused for some reason "ok no problem I'll meet you outside campus then." I smiled "cool, nice meeting you Alex, I'll see you later Em. " Jessica cracked a cheeky smile then left.

"nice friend you got there." I roll my eyes "yeah she is, I met her in Econ this morning, we just clicked." I snap my fingers "good to hear you've made another friend hun. "

We spent another hour at the Cafe talking and getting to know eachother, we exchanged numbers as we realized we hadn't earlier. "I guess I'll see you later, when you get back from your friend date." he smirks and waves "yep, see you later ." I wave back as I walk the opposite way.

I met with Jessica and we were on our way. We got to the bar and ordered our drinks; I decided to go with a water, since I didn't feel for any alcohol at the moment , Jess on the other hand ordered shots.

"can you perhaps tell me where the restroom is?" I asked the bartender with a polite smile."walk straight and it's the second door on your left" he pointed in the direction I had to walk "thank you" I smiled.

"I'll be right back." I tell Jess as she nods before downing a shot.
