2 The Panels

When Seraph woke up she quickly sat up and looked around.

She was sitting on black cold hard ground and she was surrounded by darkness.She was in some sort of void.After observing her surroundings, she remembered what happened and panicked.She hurriedly stood and looked for an exit.Not finding any, she shouted out,

"Hello?"Her small voice quickly dissipated into nothingness.

"Helloooo?"She shouted louder, starting to panic more than she already was.

"No...No, no, no."She whispered to herself, and fell on the ground in despair.She couldn't help but think to herself,Is this it?Am I dead?

She started to cry and reflect on all that she missed.Yes, she had happy life...But if she could go back...

There's so much she regrets.

"If that's what you wish."A dominating voice suddenly resounded throughout the void.In a instant Seraph stood up, wiped her tears and whipped around, on guard.Not finding anything, she couldn't help but wonder if it was her imagination.She was dissapointed, she thought that someone might be able to explain things.

She was distracted by her thoughts, so she was started when all of the sudden, countless lights filled up the void.Seraph blocks her eyes and covers her head in defense.Not sensing anything dangerous, she looks around and finds hundreds if not thousands of glowing panels surrounding her.Eyes widened in amazement, she slowly and cautiously walks toward one of the panels before-

"I would not do that if I were you."The mysterious voice sounds as if right behind her.She quickly turns around, expecting to see a person.

Only to see nothing.

Bewildered and frightened, she looks around and calls out in a small voice,

"Hello?"

"Hello."It answers back in a deep suppressing voice, as if implying the person behind it was powerful.

Before Seraph could ask any questions the voice speaks.

"I will not be answering any of your questing and I will only tell you what you need to know, so I suggest you be quiet."It waits a moment and once it sees that Seraph is quiet, it continues.

"These panels you see are all the different possibilities and endings your world can follow.Your version of this world was destroyed because someone disrupted the world and caused the laws in which your reality follows to crumble.We found out that all the alternate realities of your world seem to have the same thing happening to them.As such, you will be going to each world and ensuring they aren't destroyed."

"If you succeed, your regrets shall be fulfilled."
