The world was too big. In big bang theory, it was said that it's made from 1 point which kept on expanding at an ever increasing speed.

Now that so much time passed, it wasn't possible to calculate the extent of the growth our world has experienced. But one thing that was explored the most, was this cultivation world.

Our world is big, there are billions of different races. Some are intelligent while some have not developed intelligence. In this myriad of races, humans are the most intelligent race.

Thus, now a days it wasn't a determined factor as for which race was king. Moreover, after the great world war that took place a hundred eras ago, the races are all governed under one union of races which holds supreme governance and dominance over the world.

"The lady is pregnant, congratulations to little brother."

"Mn, I didn't expect that it would be so soon."

"Of course, who would expect to get pregnancy on the first year of wedding."

Hearing the taunting words of the female nurse, Cheng Mu's cheeks were burning red.

Cheng Mu was the son of current patriarch of 'Cheng' Family. He was also the successor of his father as once his father retires, it will be his turn to take over the position of patriarch. The Cheng family, as one of the three overlords of Meng province, was naturally united and peaceful. So none of the elders of the family had any problem with him being the next patriarch. The patriarch was currently rummaging throughout the hall, in the family's main palace.

"Father, you don't have to be so nervous, see me, I am this child's father and how calm I'm right now." Although Cheng Mu was steady and calm on surface, his eyes betrayed him.

Seeing this, Cheng Mufeng, the current patriarch and the father of Cheng Mu, laughed "Look, how worried your eyes are. As the current patriarch, though the current me who is nervous doesn't fit the character, I still am the grandfather of this child, isn't it? Moreover after you become the next patriarch, I will take care of this child and train him to become the most powerful person of Meng province, hahaha."

Just then, the ladies came out.

The father and son, a pair of a family moved past towards the room. A beautiful lady was sleeping on the bed and a baby was being caressed by her hands. The baby had his eyes closed.

Cheng Mu screamed "Why is the baby not crying, more importantly why is his eyes closed?"

A lady came forward, inside the room. She said "Ah, I didn't notice it. Hmm?"

She took her steps toward the baby. And suddenly realized something amiss.

When she touched the baby's wrist, she understood and her expression paled at that moment.

Seeing this, Liu Ming, the mother of the child asked "What happen, sister? Why are you like this? Is it something bad? Is my child blind?"

The lady didn't say anything but at the same time used her hand to open the infant's eyes. But once the eyes were opened it turned out to be a rainbow colored pupil with azure coloured dragon swimming in it. The scene was too terrifying.

Next, the lady mysteriously closed this pair of eyes. And she told the family that it's something beyond her ability and since the baby is not opening his eyes, it can only be blind for now.

Next, she told the family that the baby is born with broken meridians and blood vessels are too thick to cultivate. Moreover, after she hitted the baby's back, he cried.

This shocked the pair of father and grandfather. The grandfather didn't say anything but sneered. He moved out of the room without talking back.

Even so, the husband and wife were very good to the baby. They didn't knew why this baby was blind and a cripple but one thing was sure that this baby was their son. They believed that the God has given them this baby to test their character.

The baby touched the beards of his father and smiled. The smile was too cute. The mother said "This is our baby. We will teach him and nurture him under our protection. Ah, what do you think of his name? I think you should name it."

Cheng Mu smiled. "Alright, his name will be Cheng Muchen."

"Hmm, nice name."

During their happy time with the baby, unknown to them was the grand scheme taking place outside the family.
