Six years later

Under the shades of the Plum blossom tree, A youth with a loosely tide- Rosewood colored hair on the side was sleeping peacefully there. The winter wind softly kissed his delicate swan feather like skin, sending few flower petals to his face, accompanying the face that had a tinge of blush at the corner of his eyes'. He is called Bei Yin Yue.

"Ah Yin, Wake up!"

A sound rang. Waking the youth up.

  Not far from him was another boy with a nearly the same complexion as Yin Yue. But instead of a Rosewood color hair, he has long dark Raven colored hair- tied neatly into a ponytail at the back of his head and his eyes, instead bright blue, were a pair of sharp Violet-gold obs. He is Bei Guo Ye, Yin Yue's younger twin.

"Ah Yin, we need to get going. The ceremony will take place soon" Guo Ye reminded Yin Yue sternly.

  Yawning slightly, Yin Yue stretch his back with his arms in the air. "That was a good nap" He mumbled

"Hurry we don't have much time!" Guo Ye rushed his, still sitting on the ground, twin.

"Yeah yeah…" Yin Yue waved his hand to the air while he lazily stood up, then proceed brushing off the dirt from his bluish white robe. But he suddenly stop. Like he just came into a realization, he opened up his bright blue eyes for a while and look at Bei Gue Ye, smirking "Guo'er wanna bet who will get the higher one?" he asked, as he looked directly into Bei Guo Ye's Violet-gold ones.

  The later widen his eyes a bit before closing them, a visible grin crept onto his Rosy lips "Sure," he answered with puffed chest, "Just don't cry if you lose later on!"

"Same goes to you, dear Didi" Bei Yin Yue's smile grew

  Arriving at the Long clan's main hall. Yin Yue and Guo Ye went directly towards where their Mother and Father was seated, and greeted them. Or more like, Yin Yue following Guo Ye to their parents side.

"Father, Mother" Guo Ye greeted them, cupping both of his hands in front of his chest and bowing slightly, "Sorry we were late"

  Xing Xing laughed at her son's antics and shook her head, "Raise your head Xiao Guo, it is okay. You guys weren't late" she informed

"Yeah Guo'er, don't be so uptight around the oldman. Relax a little" Yin Yue said in a song song voice

"But don't be too relaxed" Tiao He finally uttered a sentence, he stood up and walked forward to where Guo Ye and Yin Yue was at and crouched down to their level, "Don't worry too much about it, no matter what you get, you both will still be our ér zi(s)" he patted both of their heads, smiling.

 Guo Ye's eyes widen and nodded his head with such vigor,"Yes, father!" He responded, "But we promise, We won't disappoint you!"

  The father shook his head then sighed, while his twin muttered a short "Don't drag me into this"

  Tiao He then looked to his other son and smiled, "Same goes for you" he informed

"Yes, sir!" The blue eyed twin did a sloppy salute while grinning like an idiot.

 After that, they went to where the rest of the kids their ages was headed, the altar of Beginnings.

  The walls of the altar was painted in a fine crimson and gold color, synchronizing each other perfectly. 

  The ceilings were painted like the day sky, Light azure blue coupled with a lined up- light beige color clouds. Meanwhile on each side of the altar, five individual pillars stand.

The Pillar of a Serpent for the Poison and Puppetry sect. 

A mighty Lioness pillar for the Martial sect.

A Radiant Dragon pillar for the Elemental sect.

The Two Koi fish for the Shadow and Light sect.

And last

A blue Spider for the Alchemy sect.

  As they reached the altar, they saw an old man- seemingly at his late fifties, He was stroking his long beard with one hand while the other- holding a weird looking cane with a carving of a skull. He stop his hand that was stroking his beard and waved it, "follow me" he commanded in a husky voice.

  There wasn't much Kids who would be taking the exams that year. There was a total of five kids- including Bei Yin Yue and Bei Guo Ye, There another was Two girls and a boy. 

  One girl had a slightly wavy brown hair and pink eyes, she was smiling brightly, she is called Bei Ming Ming. The other girl is the opposite of Bei Ming Ming, she is called Bei Ying Hua. She has long silk like silver hair and Cold icy blue eyes, complementing the Chilly Aura surrounding her. The last boy is called Bei Kang Kai. He has wild- unkempt Red hair and deep brown eyes, he is also Being Yin Yue's and Bei Guo Ye's cousin.

  After a few twist and turns. They arrived at a room with an eerie-cold atmosphere. But at the center, there was a huge Crystal that radiate's warmness. 

Stopping, the old man turned and faced the group of children's. He started explaining about the ranking system. He started  with [Yellow] which what a normal mortal would have. Then [Green] Which barely qualify to start cultivation. Next was [Blue] which is the average. Then [Red] which is a rare talent. [Violet] that only appeared once every few thousand years and  [Black] which only appears every once in a few millennia. And last [Gold], which only four person in History ever had.

  After finished by his speech, he scanned the entire area and saw the gleaming and hopeful look on the youngsters faces. With a smile he called out, "Ying Hua!"

"Yes!" Bei Ying Hua answered him, walking towards the stone elegantly.

  She put her left hand towards the stone and the stone started glowing. [Yellow] to [Green], [Green] to [Blue], [Blue] to [red], and finally stopped at [Violet]. With surprised expressions, the Bei Clan Elders there clapped their hands, with one thought at their mind "A genius!". But despite the leaders thoughts. After being examine, Bei Ying Hua walked back to her original place and stood there indifferently.

"Kang Kai!" the elder called out again.

  "Yes~!" Bei Kang Kai raised his hands and went to the Altar. Reaching there, he also did what Bei Long His did. He put his left hand to the stone and the stone started glowing. [Yellow] to [Green], [Green] to [Blue], [Blue] to [red], but it didn't stopped there, it kept on rising and rising until the [Violet] mark then stopped at the [Black] mark.

  The elders that we're present had their Jaws dropped to the floor. With widen eyes, the elder that was on the altar tried his best to hide his surprise and cough it off

"Ming Ming!"

"Yup!" 

  She went towards the Altar, Skipping. Reaching there, she put her right hand towards the Stone. [Yellow] to [Green], [Green] to [Blue], and stopped at [Red].

"Ehh….? Shouldn't I at least be [Violet]?" She complained

  But opposite to her complains. The elders present nearly lost their cool, 'Why youngsters this days couldn't appreciate their talents!?!?'.  Long ago, in the age of darkness, even when a [Blue] talent appeared, Sects from all over the continent would fight to have him or her joined their sect. Now, in their clan, they had One [Red], one [Violet], and last [Black]. Some of them couldn't even stopped them self from thinking if they already used a million, if not Trillion, of their generations luck.

"Guo Ye!"

"Here" 

 Guo Ye looked at his twin for a while before saying "Remember the bet?"

"You bet I do!" Yin Yue smiled cheekily

"Bad pun"

  Guo Ye went towards the altar and touched the stone. Like the others, his started with [Green] then [Blue] to [red], [Violet], then stopped at [Black]

"Yes!" Guo Ye muttered under his breath, trying his best to look as composed as he could. He went back to his place and smiled to Yin Yue "Looks like I would win this" Guo er smirked to his brother. Whilst his brother shook his head and petted the youngers head teasingly "Guo'er….Guo'er… my cute Didi. You shouldn't say that you have won, since I haven't tested mine yet!"

Guo Ye stared at the other for a while before he pursed his lips and muttered a "Fine". Yin Yue grinned triumphantly, but stopped when Guo Ye started to mutter "But how can you get higher than that? A higher than black would be Good, and only four people are known to have them"

Yin The just stared at his twin and smiled "Just wait and See"

"Yin Yue!" the elder called, oblivious to the two twins' little interaction.

"Your called" Guo Ye nudge Yin Yue's side

  Rolling his eyes, Yin Yue proceed to go to the Altar and did what the others did. The stone shined but suddenly it burst *Prang* 

and broke.

  The elders who were already pale from before, became paler. Their eyes were hollow and black lines started to appear on their foreheads. They began questioning their life 'Was my life experience from all of those years battling and surviving, was nothing more but a pure lie?'

"Un- unmeasurable! This child is beyond [Gold]!!!" One of the Elders couldn't take it anymore and shouted his lungs out.

"See!!!" Yin Yue grinned widder than he ever did, and the usual was already wide, as if he just conquer the universe. Seeing this Guo Ye made a face and let out a "Geh!" Before he sighed and waved his hands, "yeah yeah" He mumbled.
