Everything and everyone relies on the technology now. From a simple purchase to a life machine. Flying cars. Automated doors everywhere. A simple identification card that is equivalent to your own whole life.

And weirdly, people became so addicted with online games.

they're not the simple single-player games anymore. Now, its more larger in population and more promises of an adventure. People buy NerveGear everyday. Companies launch games every 2 months and update every week. The talk of the town are always about the newly launch game or the worst reviewed game ever.

and the world exploded when the top game maker, Neon tech, launched their biggest game of all time: Everett Online.

The game was already announced a year ago and everyone was excited. Especially since Neon Tech's previous game, Project Power, became a hit. People became excited with trailers, sneak-peeks ad when a snippet of the game design was posted online. Everybody went crazy.

For a year, The news spread fire. Every posts the company makes on social media became viral. People then started to earn or save money. To buy the latest NerveGears and stuff so that their gameplay would be smooth.

And finally, after 2 years of waiting, Everett Online was launched.

People waited outside main stores. Five hours after the launch, more that 100 stores already lost stock. A day after the launch, it was sold out.

Everyone was excited. Because it was the start of their new adventure. A chance to make their own legacy.
