Someone is calling my name. A soft whisper. It blends with the wind and echoes in the distance, that of a man. It tickles me as if he is close by, whispering in my ear. A feeling of familiarity washes over me as it starts to get a little bit louder and clearer. I have heard of his voice before, but where?
‘Amber.’
There it is again. I look around but could not find anyone. All I can see are blurry bubbles dancing in the air in a secret tune, popping on their own and then new ones emerge out of nowhere. Where am I?
‘Amber.’ This time the voice is near.
I embrace myself, as my heart thumping wildly. The voice is behind me, clear and close by. Slowly, I turn and quickly take a few steps back at the sight of him.
He is floating in the air and his body is concealed with colorful smokes swirling up to his bare shoulders. The tips of his shoulder-length wavy hair dance with the smokes, just like when I first saw him at the restriction area.
