Reincarnation
A man was walking through the streets in midnight, posture bent and taking steady steps. Meanwhile a faint sound of a car moving in high speeds was heard by the man, although he chose to think nothing of it. The man then thought 'Imagine if I isekai'd right now, that'd be pretty cool.' As he finished the thought, he looked to the side and came face to face with the front of a truck, "Wha-" As the man spoken his final words, the truck hit him and magically causes his body to explode into pieces.
Meanwhile the terrifying presence of the truck as imaginary purple japanese kanji appeared meaning 'Menacing' began floating around it before it drove off once again to find another target.

"-t the hell?!" Continued the man after his death, falling to the ground surprised and terrified, he curiously looked around the space where only black can be seen while the ground is white. Suddenly a blinding light flashed before his eyes and a humanoid being with no facial features of light manifested.
"Mortal, you have been chosen as one of the thousands of your kind. This is a program of which prime humans will travel into worlds of which your kind has created. You will be given a wheel which will choose a world, and given a chance of whether to reincarnate into the body of a pre-existing character or be in the world with your previous appearance. If you have questions, you may speak." Explained the Being.
"Are you a god or THE god?" Questioned the man fearfully.
"No, I am merely one of his agents to take care of tasks that he deems not worth his time." Answered the Being of Light.
"Can I customize my appearance or is it only limited to my previous body and a pre-existing character?" Questioned the man with less fear in his tone.
"No, you may however customize it after you gain some sort of power in the world you've been reincarnated in. However, you reincarnators are automatically given a chance to travel between other worlds that contain other reincarnators." Replied the Being.
"Is it possible to reincarnate as a monster?" Questioned the man as the fear in his tone has all but vanished and replaced with caution.
"Yes." Shortly answered by the Being.
As silence emerged and lasted for a few seconds, before the man said "Can I start now?"
The Being then made a wheel appear in front of the man as it shows absurdly small options on it, "Very well." The Being replied.
The Being then spun the wheel while the man thought while nervous and excited at the same time. 'Dammit, I'm nervous as hell. Hopefully it doesn't pick a dangerous as all hell world. Thank god, literally from allowing us to pick as pre-existing characters...'
The wheel then slowed down as it finally lands on Prototype, as it landed, the Being announced "Congratulations on landing on Prototype!" As it also clapped.
'Hoooo, damn nice. Gonna be an overpowered creature then if I become the virus, wait.... SHIT SHIT SHIT, I won't be able to become the virus if I'm alive and well! And it may not even be compatible with my body, the most I could do is become Mercer I guess.' After the man thought, he then answered "I'd like to reincarnate as Alex Mercer after he becomes the virus."
"Very well then." The Being answered
It then snapped it's fingers as he was enveloped in a blinding light and finally disappeared after it parted.

Meanwhile an old man similar to a combination of Saruman and Gandalf is sitting on the ground, opened one eye and said "Interesting...."

After the man was transported, Alex Mercer awoke with a gasp on a surgery table as two Gentek scientists who were trying to dissect him ran off screaming as if terrified.

"What the hell...." Alex Mercer said, he began jumbling his memories and finally processed them.
"From the memories I've gained from that man, it seems my world was a game and I was the protagonist, but... Argh!" Alex was cut off as pain hit him from when he woke up.
"So something happened to me when the virus was released, I released it and it spread. As I became the virus itself, it is me. Then my second game was when I turned evil and started actively spreading the virus aiming for a perfect vessel... It seems I regretted saving the humans in Manhattan as I witnessed humanity's atrocities and crimes...." Alex monologued.
"I won't make the same mistakes as my previous self. Biomass and the destruction of humanity is my priority, Blackwatch and Gentek won't be able to stop me. Only others like myself can, like James Heller...." Alex was then interrupted by a squad of 4 of Blackwatch soldiers entering the room he is in.

"Guess you guys will be my first snacks then..." Alex concluded.
Blackwatch began firing on Alex as he tried to dodge the bullets, unfortunately some still hit him as he closed in on the Blackwatch soldiers and grabbed him by the neck. He then punched through the soldier's torso as his fist went right through and red tendrils appeared behind his back as it brought the body inside Alex. His wounds from when he was shot previously in Penn station where he released the virus then healed as he also gained their memories on how to use a gun, he then immediately grabbed another before the others could reload and used the soldier's body to block the shots from the Blackwatch soldiers after emptying their mag, Alex threw the body on one of them as he jumped and grabbed the neck of them and consumed him via crushing his head by stomping on it. He then sprinted on the last soldier trying to get up from having the body hit him as Alex finally finishing him off by dropping him on his back as he punched him 4 times consecutively and consuming him.
"Can't leave extra biomass." He said as he begun consuming the body of the bullet ridden soldier.
He exited the morgue and he saw two corpses of the bullet ridden Gentek scientists previously. He obviously consumed them for more biomass.
"For now, Dana is of no use to me. I already know she would not condone me infecting the entire planet and would betray me in the future, for now I need to build up biomass. I need to free Greene for her hunters for me to consume and get more biomass, and also for those super soldiers to appear for me to consume as well. It's decided then, first thing to do is free her and her hunters, then after gathering enough biomass I may be able to evolve to achieve my claws and other powers. In order for me to get the blade and armor however I'd need the parasite to be injected into me and then cure it, easy enough to get to Ragland. Then finally annihilate Greene's infected, I won't make the same mistake as in the future where I didn't check whether I killed the supreme hunter or not. It will also be good biomass for me. Now then time to go to the HQ and free Greene.

Woo first chapter done, this was alot of fun to write.
