3 Chapter 3: It's blue

As I was walking, I can sense that something was wrong around me. All the eyes in the cafe were looking at me as though I'm a new student. Even some boys were calling me " Hye new student. Come here. We need to ask you a few questions." When I heard that, I just ignored them and went straight to the table. I sat at the empty table and took out my tools. My phone and earphone. As soon as I realized that the other students were talking about me as though I'm a new student really upset me, so I started to increase the volume and close my eyes. I thought to use this time to rest a bit since I have been working very hard nowadays. I rest my head on the table as I was enjoying my favorite song which is The Truth Untold by BTS; a Korean boy band. After a few moments, I felt someone sat in front of me. I lifted up my head and look at the person. No wonder it's the same person who I was with a while back. "If you don't mind can I sit here?" he asked. I answered "Hmm…Yes if you don't mind sitting here with me." " I don't mind at all" he replied to me while sitting. When he noticed that I'm looking at him surprisingly he asked me why am I looking at him like that. I couldn't answer him straight away but I decided to be honest with him since he's new here. I told him that no one has talked to me on the campus before and even I told him that I won't come to the cafe during break time. He laughed and asked why. When I told him that I'm not a person from a rich family, his face reaction was unexpected. Not like others but he asked, " So, why you telling me this?" I told him that because of that reason no one on the campus is willing to talk to me and I don't want him to be like me also. Talking to me might make him lose other friends on the campus before he makes one. I clearly don't want that to happen. Most importantly, I don't want him to regret talking to me.

When I told him everything he realized why others were looking at us like that and even why no one is talking to me. The way he replied to me make me a shock. He said " Now I know why when I said that I'm going to study here my parents looked at each other like that. Let me tell you this I looked like I'm a born rich but I'm not. My parents studied here as well and they were not rich at that time too. They faced the same thing as you Esther and now I know it. Thank you for that, so I know how would they face it. I'm in this condition because of my parents hardworking. Don't worry. I'm not like others and I will always be like this. To be honest, I like talking to you so, remember I won't regret that I talked to you." When he told me this I really don't know what to say so I just remain silent. He noticed my silent and " Nah.. I bought this for you also as a sign of sorry" he continued by giving me the extra food that he bought earlier. I looked at him and say " You don't have to be sorry towards me and I don't like whoever treats me as a person who doesn't have enough money to buy food also…" I replied by looking straight at his eyes. I don't know why if a person says that they feel sorry towards me for being poor, I'll get angry. He looked at me with his confused face and said " Hey…I said like that, because of me you hurt your knees. That's why I'm giving you this as a sign of asking for sorry." I put my face down and refused the food while asking sorry because of the misunderstandings. He laughed and put the food in my hand while telling me to accept it otherwise he will think that I didn't forgive him. I with my half heart received the food and thanked him. Jaden welcomed me back while eating his food. I finally collect all my strength to look up at him and found it out that his eyes are blue. I smiled at him and he smiled back. That moment I thought not all the persons are the same.
