2 Chapter 2: Transported to Another World!!

"Dad! I think we have just transported into another world!!" said the little girl. She looked about five years old. Her shining golden hair was neatly arranged into two pigtails. She looked at her dad with her ocean blue eyes in excitement.

Ethan was looking at the infinite deep blue ocean in a daze. Hearing his daughter's voice, he said, " Nah....it must be some optical illusion created by the shopping mall for the opening ceremony...ha..ha.."

The little girl pouted and said," No dad! Look at the life like waves of the ocean and...and..look at the soft sand under your feet...how can it be a optical illusion?"

Ethan looked at his little daughter and then looked at the sea. He really didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It wasn't that he didn't read any transmigration or reincarnation novels. On the contrary he had read so much of them that even his almost five year old daughter, Moon was also influenced. And to be able to come to a new world with Moon, Ethan was more excited than anyone else. After all, as a male who could give birth he had experienced the cruelty of society on Earth. So Ethan was thrilled to suddenly find himself in a completely new environment when he was in the shopping mall just a moment ago. The possibility of crossing over a new world also occurred to him. But he was also afraid that it would only be a sweet illusion.

On the other side he was also kinda troubled by the fact that mysterious things kept happening to him one after another. First of all, Moon, his daughter wasn't born naturally. By ' unnatural ' he didn't mean she was born from him but he meant that Moon had no father. Speaking more specifically Ethan didn't do the unspeakable deed at all. He was a pure virgin. So the first time when he heard that he was pregnant, he was truly speechless. But before his pregnancy, a very mysterious thing happened in his life.

He still remembered that day very clearly as if it was just yesterday. That day was Ethan's eighteenth birthday. He had just turned into an adult. After celebrating his birthday with his family he returned to his room. It was a summer night. So he felt a little stuffy in his small room. He opened the only window to get some fresh air. Ethan came from a very remote village. So, although it was only ten at night, the surroundings had already turned pitch black. Ethan was savouring the fresh cool air when suddenly a bright light, at a certain distance attracted his attention. As it was completely dark, the bright light was very conspicuous. At first Ethan thought it was the flashlight of someone's phone. But sometimes later he discovered that the light seemed to coming towards him at a frightening speed. And within seconds it was almost in front of him. Ethan didn't manage to react when the small light sphere merged with his belly.

After that incident he started to feel very strange. But he knew no one would believe him even if he told them the supernatural activity. So he just endured. Three months later he found that his belly seemed kinda.... bloated? He had a bad premonition that it was related to the supernatural incident. But never in his dream he had thought that in the hospital he would be smashed with a report of 'pregnancy'. He went through a body cheque up again in a different hospital. But the result was the same. The doctor told him that he had a special constitution that could give birth.

After that this was the second time in his life he experienced such a bizarre event. He was clearly shopping with his child when suddenly he was transported to a completely different place and who could say, it even might be a completely different world. When Ethan was immersed into his own thoughts, he suddenly felt a gentle tug on his t-shirt. He broke away from his daze and came back to present.

"Dad? What are you thinking?" Moon asked sweetly.

Ethan shook his head and smiled," Nothing really....hmm...let dad touch this seawater first to see if it is illusion or not."

"Okay!! Agent Ethan proceed forward!! Over!" said Moon pretending to be very serious. But the serious look only appeared cute and funny on her small face.

Ethan smiled. Although he had suffered very much in these past five years, he was really thankful to God for blessing him with such a cute, little angel. Ethan hardly had any time to play with his daughter because of the multiple part time jobs he had to do for living. But never once Moon had thrown a tantrum over it. On the contrary the relationship between the father and daughter had turned gradually into 'best friends' status. The little time Ethan got for his daughter, Moon would always play 'Spy game' with him. She probably was inspired by some TV series. In that time she would call Ethan by his name. Ethan also went along with her and played with great enthusiasm.

Today Ethan also got into the role. Seeing her happy he also seriously said, " Yes Captain! Over!"

Little Moon couldn't help but raise the corner of her mouth. Every time his dad called her ' Captain ' she would be immensely happy in her heart. Because her friends in the kindergarten told her that their parents never played with them like this. They said their parents would always dismiss them, saying it was childish. Whenever Moon heard them complaining a sense of pride would always surge inside her. After all her dad didn't dismiss her. She would happily think, ' My dad is the best in the whole world. '

Ethan squatted down and let the gentle wave of the ocean touch his palm. The sun wasn't that strong then. It was probably early morning here. The gentle sunlight fell on Ethan's face and the slightly cool breeze passed by his side swaying his almost shoulder length brown, soft, silky hair. Instantly Ethan's unearthly beautiful face was revealed behind his long bangs. Yes, even if he was a man only ' beautiful ' could be used to describe his face not ' handsome '. And with his deep blue eyes, it was kinda mysterious kind of beauty that could trap someone into the state of mesmerism. It could be said that Moon inherited her unique beauty from her equally beautiful dad.

From his childhood Ethan was always mistaken as a girl by the people who didn't know him. He had already used to it. But after he gave birth to Moon, people began to doubt his gender. Sometimes he was even called as 'witch' or 'seductress' for Moon's unknown origin. From that time he would always hide his face by the long bangs.

Ethan was somewhat distracted while touching the seawater. A strange emotion began to swell up in his heart. It was as if he had come back to home at last. It was really strange. The blue seawater was indeed a little cold but while touching it Ethan felt warm in his heart. Even his eyes turned watery unknowingly. It felt like he had missed someone dear for so long but finally returned home. But he never felt this kind of emotion while touching seawater on earth. At this time Moon's loud voice woke him up from his stupor. Ethan sighed. His mind was not at all cooperating with him today.

Ethan turned around only to see Moon's glittering eyes. He suddenly had a bad feeling. He asked, " What happened?"

Moon said excitedly," Dad! Your hair has turned blue!!"

Ethan was stupefied, "huh?!"

Moon," Yes dad! It's looking gorgeous on you! I want blue hair too..."

Ethan's hair was quite long. He brought a long strand of hair in front of his eyes. Then he was shocked. His hair which had been brown for more than twenty years had really turned blue. Ethan began to doubt life.

But Moon was staring at her dad's blue hair intensely. She knew her dad was far more beautiful than anyone's mother in her class. But she didn't know why every time someone called her dad beautiful, he would become angry. So Moon very tactfully called her dad handsome. After all she was a very smart girl. But with her dad's hair turning blue, he looked even more beautiful.

Moon also wanted her hair blue to become more beautiful. She noticed that as soon as her dad touched the seawater his hair slowly turned into blue. So she squatted down and touched the water. Then looked at her two pigtails. To her dismay she found that they were still shining golden in colour. Moon pouted.

At this time Ethan already noticed his daughter's action and instantly understood what she wanted. He picked Moon up into her embrace and affectionately said, " My Little Moon, aren't you dad's little angel? Aren't you going to bring happiness to dad's life?"

Moon looked at Ethan and hugged him around his neck. Then she spoke while burying her head on his neck, " Of course. I am dad's angel of light."

Ethan chuckled, then said while gently patting her back," Then, tell me have you ever seen any light angel with blue hair?"

Moon was as if enlightened. She perked up his head from Ethan's neck and said," No...but..dad looks so beau...I mean good in blue hairs."

Ethan touched one of Moon's pigtails with his free hand and said," But dad thinks only golden looks best on you."

Moon was doubtful," Really?"

Ethan helplessly coaxed the girl, " Of course! Don't you believe your dad anymore?"

Moon again regain her spirit and said, " I believe you the most."

Suddenly a strange noise disrupted their happy conversation. And it was a extremely familiar noise. The noise of hunger from the stomach. Moon looked at Ethan pitifully. Ethan also finally remembered. They were actually returning from Moon's school while doing a little shopping on the way. Moon's school bag was still hanging from his shoulder. As the situation was quite bizarre before both of them completely forgot that it was lunchtime.

" Today was one of my friends' birthday. So she gave everyone a strawberry cream roll. I still haven't eaten it. Let's share it, dad."

Ethan brought the cream roll out of the school bag. Then divided into half. One part he gave to Moon and the other part he saved for later. As he didn't know how long it would be when he would find another source of food in this unknown world. If it was doubt before, after his hair's unexplainable colour change, Ethan was completely sure they were in a different world. Although he was happy, he was also troubled, as he didn't know this world's rules.

" Dad...You aren't eating?" Moon asked.

" No, dad's not hungry yet. I have saved my part for later. You eat..."

" But..." Moon hesitated.

Ethan hurriedly changed the subject. His daughter was too smart. If he lingered in this topic a little more, she would guess the truth.

" Moon, hurry and eat. We will then begin our adventure in this new world. Alright?"

Moon was a child after all. Her attention was soon diverted. She nodded.

Ethan looked at the somewhat dense forest beyond the sea beach. Then he spotted coils of smoke emerging beyond the forest from afar. He thought in his mind, 'There might be a village.' Then he noted down this next destination in his heart.

At this time Ethan didn't know that as soon as he arrived in this new world, a certain blue stone was broken into pieces turning a certain king with golden hair and his certain father-in-law completely speechless. But it was only for a moment. Afterwards these two almost flew from the palace to search something very precious.

Ethan really had no idea how his simple life was soon going to turn upside down by this two person, especially by this king with golden hair.
