15 Let's Get Married

He withdrew something from his pocket and held it up to her. It was a small red velvet box. He opened it and it was a diamond ring. He had it specially made for Evelina back in the Kingdom of Diamond. It was a simple, heartfelt, and elegant design that had their initials engraved on the filigree of the beautiful ring.

He cleared his throat, "Evelina, will you marry me?"

Evelina solidified, her mind completely going blank. She was still in the middle of processing his words. She was left completely tight-lipped. She never knew that being proposed again would felt this way. The last time he proposed to her, she was in a dilemma between her family and the kingdom. Now, it was different. She could definitely perceive his sincere feelings and heartfelt words. It was the most romantic feeling that she had ever felt in her entire life. 'Being with him is certainly a destiny'

'Please say yes' his sweat started to fall down on his face.

Minutes have passed by yet, she still didn't reply to his question, making him more anxious and agitated. Alexander started to lose hope, silently bemoaning deep inside.

He slowly retreated when suddenly, Evelina kissed him roughly. Alexander was taken aback. He couldn't describe what he was currently feeling. He was like the luckiest man in the world; it was the best day of his entire life. He had thought of filming the whole experience and making it history.

"So... Is that a yes?"

"Yes!" she pecked his lips.

Evelina helped him stood up and made her arms clung to his neck. They were standing still, not taking off each other's gazes. She was such a fortuitous lady to seize an amazing opportunity being proposed to the perfect man in front of her.

"You know, I've been thinking about my future with you, "

He cupped her face, "Don't worry, my love. I will rest assure you that you will be the luckiest woman in the universe, " he said with strong assurance.

Her smile widened, "You know what? I really hate you! You were such a dumb wimpy kid out there, waiting for my attention," She paused, "You could have personally confronted me rather than using such an old-fashioned technique, " she teased him

"It doesn't matter. Having you is one of the greatest blessings of my life. I don't care who you are or what you did, as long as you love me, that's fine with me, " he kissed her passionately until she was out of breath.

Their kiss ended; she was panting heavily.

Alexander grinned, "You look cute, " he gently caressed her face, "You should be well aware that you're mine, " he said in a serious tone.

She held his hands, "You're being too possessive, " she chuckled, "Well, you're not allowed to look at other ladies. They're as dangerous as exotic animals, "

"Very well said, dear. I've been aware at that time that you were also dangerous, "

She was in puppy eyes again, making Alexander hypnotized and mesmerized by her beauty. 'As she ages, she will be more beautiful than ever'

He pulled her right into his chest and hugged her tightly, not letting her go in this lifetime.

"Evelina, "

"Hm?"

"Promise me that you will never leave me and stay by my side until eternity. No matter what happens, I'll respect you. Even if there may be a time that your love will grow cold to me, I will still love you and be by your side, "

Evelina was teary-eyed. She was touched by his heartwarming speech. She admitted that she was not experienced in love. All she thought back then was completely childish, not seriously dating Alexander. She thought that being able to date would make her more mature. She never seriously thought of his feelings for her. It was when he constantly coaxed her, making her more like herself and enlightening her in different ways.

Alexander felt his shirt was wet, thinking that she was crying. He tilted her face for him to see her face, "Is there anything wrong? Dear, please don't cry, " he pleaded as he was worried about her.

She wiped her glistening tears, "I'm just too happy right now. I couldn't explain it. Everything is amazing but you are a phenomenon, " she then looked up to him, saying, "I promise to love you forevermore. Not just in this lifetime, I'll follow you wherever you go even if it is in another dimension. I'll always be there for you, "

"Really? Will you really do that? What if I'm nowhere to be seen? What will you do?" he probed with curiosity in his eyes

"I'll be searching for you. I'll be wandering around the world! I'll go to another dimension just to find you! I don't care what it takes, as long as you're there, living peacefully without harm, " She beamed with her beautiful eyes.

Alexander was astonished. He didn't know whether this was a dream or not. His dear Evelina finally spoke romantic words to him. Usually, she would never initiate romantic utterances. It was he who had always been dominant in their relationship. Now, she had a voice. 'I'm so glad that Evelina paid back, making me even happier. Our relationship is starting to have equality between two sides'

"Um... Alexander, " she tiptoed to kiss him. The kiss was not that steamy but it made Alexander felt like he was in heaven; it was a light kiss.

He grabbed the back of her head and kissed her passionately like they had all the time in the world.

Evelina broke the kiss, wanting to experience something new, "Alexander, shouldn't we go to the next level?"

Of course, Alexander knew what she meant, "You know what? I respect you and I don't want you to lose your virginity before the marriage. I'm a man of my principles and that's what my mother always told me, "

"Then let's get married already!!" she exclaimed, showing her anticipation for the next game.

He scratched his head while he sighed, "Evelina, let's head back to our room first, " he held her waist while they were heading towards the bed.

"Wow, you're now ready? How fast!!" she was amazed at his sudden change of heart. 'Does this mean we get to do the real thing?'

He sighed deeply, "Evelina, don't ever think about it. You still have training tomorrow, "

Her long-awaited anticipation was now turned to ashes. Her excitement dimmed her appreciation.

He gently kissed her forehead, "Evelina, I want you to be respected. I am not like other men who would take advantage of their partner and left them. I hope that you understand that I'm doing my duties as a gentleman, "

"Oh, " She now realized his principle. He was such a gentleman, protecting people and respecting them. She really admired him, continuing to love the man every second.

He placed her on his bed. He pulled the duvet in order for her to feel comfortable. He gently placed a kiss on her forehead. His kiss was warm and not frightening.

Her eyes were still not closed. She couldn't sleep at all.

She pulled his arm, "Don't leave me!"

He smirked, "Of course, I will not leave you here, " he gently caressed her face like a treasure. "Don't ever do this to other men. You're such a seductress, luring people that easily, "

"How about let's get married later?" she asked, showing her pitiful face.

"It's quite late, I want you to get some adequate sleep, " he covered her eyes with his right hand

She pouted, "You're a meanie. I hate you! I take back what I said!" she was so annoyed by his killjoy behavior.

He chuckled softly, "Well if you really want to have a wedding, we could do it tomorrow night. I'm asking my colleagues to arrange them for us, "

"Really?" she asked, beaming with her eyes widened.

He gave her a peck on her beautiful rosy lips, "Yes, dear Evelina, " he said, revealing his handsome smile.

Evelina giggled, "Okay, I'm waiting, " she patted the bed, making him lay down on the bed.

Alexander then complied. He lied down beside her and covered himself with a duvet, making himself comfortable with his beloved Evelina. He stared at her, observing the stunning and ever sweet and beautiful Evelina. It was all on his mind.

Evelina noticed him gawking at her. She looked at him and teased him, "What are you doing? Are you taking back the words you just said?" her eyes turned seductive, luring him into her 'love trap'

Alexander swallowed the saliva amalgamating inside his mouth and constrained his eyes away from her seductive beauty. Her beauty was undeniable especially her luscious breasts, hourglass figure, and her long slender legs. It was arduous to restrain himself but he knew that he would never forgive himself if he ever disrespected her dignity as a woman.

He gave her a quick peck on her forehead, "Evelina, let's go to sleep early," he closed his eyes and did a side-lying position, not facing her.
