1 Mute Girl

Evans life has been easier these days. Everything became easy after he discovered he has super power. His super power is that he can make clones of himself. He got that power when he thought about how he can get away from punishment for missing his training.

His family runs a Dojo. So he needs to practice there everyday. He has above average talent than normal people. But his father makes him work hard. His father's training his quite harsh that he doesn't want to train there. He tried to quit many times but that ended up even more badly.

"So hard.. But now with my power, I am finally free."

It's been three months he got his power. At first, he used his power conservatively. He was afraid to use them.

Even now he uses his clones rarely. But now he has gotten used to this power. He can control it now.

Evans was returning from his school. He was just passing by a park when he saw a girl standing there. All alone, she looked lost and afraid but she wasn't asking for help to anyone. So he doubted if she really needed help.

(Is she really lost? Should I ask? Nobody is here. Who is she waiting for?)

"Whatever. Let's ask her first."

"Hello, are you lost?"

She looked at him in confusion.

(Cuuute, sooo cute.)

Her confused expression was so cute. She was a lovely little lady. One cannot help but adore her as soon as they see.

"Can you tell me where you live?"

She used many hand sign and made various gesture but to no avail. She couldn't make anything clear. She is a mute person. She can't talk.

Evans understood that a little late. He felt sorry for the girl. It must be hard for someone like her to lead a easy life.

Evans felt that he needed to help out the girl. But he didn't know how. He has to know where she lives if he was going to help her return to her home.

So he took the girl around with him, asked in the neighbourhood to see if anyone knew her. The mute girl followed behind Evans everywhere without complaining.

"Do you know this girl?.."

"She is lost.."

"Have you seen her before anywhere?"

Evans and the mute girl went around and asked everyone but no one could give him the information about the girl.

He felt tired and exhausted after searching for so long. He felt hungry too.

He looked at the mute girl and made weird gesture and motion to let her know that he is hungry and wants to eat.

The girl laughed happily at his funny endeavour but eventually she understood what he meant. She also agreed to go with him.

They came to a restaurant to eat. As a student, Evans didn't have that much money. But he managed to feed the girl properly.

The girl ate with graceful demeanour. Now that he sees the girl sitting face to face, she isn't that young. She must be around 15 or so. She was long slim figured, fair-skinned young woman and had a beautiful face. When she smiled, her face formed dimples which made her smile even more beautiful and mesmerising. She had beautiful waist-length blond hair that has pink tips at the end of her hair. Her eyes were beautiful aqua-blue coloured too. Her most notable feature is the purple ribbon that she used to tie her hair.

They left the restaurant after eating and once again started searching for her home. In the meantime, he tried to gather any information he can from the girl but the language barrier turned out a huge problem.

She also didn't have anything with her that can help him figure out her identity or at least give a small clue. This part of her surprised him a little. He thought people like her carried some kind of easily identifiable things with them in case they find themselves in trouble but maybe he was wrong. He didn't know because he never mingled with such people before anyway.

"What should I Do?"

"It's getting late too. I don't want to stay out too late."

As they were walking in the street full of people going here and there, Evans suddenly heard someone shout. He didn't heard it clearly the first time.

Tick.. Tack.. Tick.. Tack..Tick..

Sounds of running on the concrete road ringed.

Evans saw a late teenage boy run towards them with hasty steps.

"Thief...."

This time Evans heard the loud and clear shout of a man. After that he saw the teenager jump over the mute girl's head.

The mute girl was walking by his side. From the teenage thief's running speed Evans thought he will crash into the girl. But to his surprise, he jumped over her head. It was so high that it should be impossible for a man to jump so high. It's also surprising that he could manage to jump so high despite running so fast.

It almost felt like rabbit jumping up on it's feet.

"Thief.. Thief.. somebody catch him."

The man with mix of black and ash coloured hair kept shouting as he kept on running after the teenage thief. The man wasn't slow if you take his age into account. He wasn't young but you cannot call him old or middle aged too. He is between middle aged and old aged period.

"Stubborn old man..."

The thief ran as he mumbled. He wasn't doing too well also. He was sweating a lot and seemed to be out of breath too. Evans thought that he wasn't as athletic as he thought. Maybe he was able to jump so high because of luck or having practice in high jump.

"Huu...huu..."

The mute girl pulled on Evans shirt tightly and pointed to the direction where the thief ran away. She also started running after them.

"Wait.. Stop girl. Wait for me. Don't run away."

The mute girl didn't stop but ran forward.

"Damn it."

Evans also ran after her. He was thinking whether to use his clone to go around catch the thief. He had an instinctive feeling that she was running after the thief.
