hey anyone out there if I killed someone and felt nothing can I be called a monster? , I don't really know who I'm talking to but if this was a novel where the mc was born in another world as something nonhuman doesn't the mc normally talks to a human in later chapters but I killed one only after being here for a short while if this is a novel the person writing this must be really twisted to throw me into another world then making me kill one of my own kind right off the bat I thought if this is a fantasy world I could live like a friendly little slime well beggars can't be choosers although I did not beg for this or choose it.
well, then time to deal with my sight problem.
hey, system I want to spend the skill points I have gained so far, a screen suddenly popped up with a whole list of skills I was overwhelmed with the amount of skill's available and all of the cost an arm and a leg but luckily there was a search bar but I was confused for a while on how to use it but I found out I can interact with the screen using my mind so the first thing I typed in was "cheap as f***" but I got some weird skills I wondered why got skill's like "aphrodisiac saliva" but me putting f*** in the search bar probably contributed but it cost is 3 skill points I might come back to that later.....
sight: allows you to see in a bubble-like area around you, cost: 2 skill points.
smell: allows you to smell at small distances, cost: 2 skill points.
hearing: allows you to hear, cost: 2 skill points.
acid spit: you spit acid pretty self-explanatory. cost: 1 skill point
there were many more skills but these seemed the most useful there also the most affordable out of all the available skill's but I don't know why acid spit is so cheap, I don't have the necessary skill points to buy all of them so ill buy sight and acid spit.

yes, I braced myself to feel pain like when I used the biomass but it did not come dose biomass cause pain, and skill points don't hm interesting, status.

yes, I was overcome by the feeling of something ripening out my teeth without any form of anesthetics but it was slightly better than when I upgraded my digestion i think it's due to pain resistance.

sigh* you know what I can make this work, after a while I started to use my roots to pairs and rip of the soft pieces of flesh but the hard bone and cartilage I left alone and ate around them, and yes I wasted 1 biomass.
It's been about 3 months since I've started eating the human but I'm starting to die of boredom my slow digestion coupled with me having nothing to do except eating is killing me you're probably thinking to yourself "but Mio all you did before you could see was stand around and do nothing except waiting for flys" I have something to say to that you got a point but I was expecting some sort of monster to come for the body but nothing came not even another human to look for the body.
because of my unending boredom, I have been practicing some of my skills well when I say skills I mean skill become my trap is currently busy with digesting for me to practice acid breath but me using sight nonstop got it to level 3 and my root control is now level 5 ohh I almost forgot I found something interesting while i was practicing my root control i "accidentally killed some bugs but they gave only 1 XP not 10 like the fly and they gave 0 biomass even though its the first time I killed one but i "accidentally" only kill 4 of them so I got 4 XP.

finally, I'm finished that took an eternity now the only things left-back were bones and cartilage I wonder why the system still gave me the biomass even though i did not eat the entire body.
as I continued to ponder the ground started to shake and then a wolf-like monster appeared but my sight bubble is too small to see its face but I can see its feet so I suspect its a wolf.
