Epoch 33: The cute fluffy cubs.

Tang Tang and Yul returned safely to the tribe. They encountered some one-horned monsters, but they were easily handled by Yul. He didn't rely on Ude to find a safer way since it would take more time.

When they returned, Xue was waiting on the outskirts of the tribe.

Yul handed all of their things to Xue. Tang Tang thanked the man for his help and promised to cook a good meal for him tomorrow before they went back to their own tent.

Tang Tang was very happy because they collected two big pots of flesh-eating tree sap, and when he checked the sap, it hadn't really dried. He was really overjoyed that he unconsciously praised Yul for his knowledge and didn't notice the worsening expression of Xue.

Tang Tang felt tired and wanted to rest first while waiting for Hou's return. He yawned and stretched his arms. He was about to go to bed, but before he could even take a step, his world spun, and he was lifted.

"X-xue?"

The beast carried him coolly to the bed without answering. Xue is still as expressionless as ever, but Tang Tang can feel that something is wrong.

"Why is my Xue angry?" Tang Tang asked in a coaxing tone. "Did I do something wrong? Yul and I just—" He is trying to tell the beast what they did in the forest when Xue aggressively captured his lips.

Xue bites his lower lip and tries to pry open the sub-beast's mouth with his tongue. He skillfully took off Tang Tang's clothes. His cold and calloused hands roamed over the sub-beast's supple skin.

Tang Tang shivered from the cold sensation that ran through all his sensitive spots.

"I already know what Gio is planning at that time, that's why I want to avoid him. I didn't expect that he would do that to Toa instead, just not to be embarrassed," Xue explained while kissing the top of his head.

"I feel bad for Toa and Yul," Tang Tang commented.

He was about to stand up to ask the man for dinner when the tent entrance opened, and Hou, with a dark expression, came in.

"Hou, is something wrong?" Tang Tang worriedly asked the man.

Hou can still smell the faint scent of Tang Tang's and Xue's pheromones when he came in.

"But the two of you have their own responsibilities within the tribe, and I will feel uncomfortable if you neglect those because of me," he explained.

The two didn't answer and had a solemn expression. Tang Tang knows that if he just agrees to Hou, the twins will feel better, but he doesn't want to give empty promises that he might break later.

"I am so hungry. Let's eat for now, okay?" Tang Tang asked.

Xue immediately prepared their food.

Hou and Xue were still worried, but they couldn't stay gloomy. Seeing that the sub-beast was very happy because they could now start building their house, they started to feel happy too.

They eat the food with relish, while Tang Tang keeps talking and making assumptions about the things they can make with the flesh-eating tree's sap.

After they ate, they walked towards the stream to accompany Tang Tang to wash, and when they returned, Hou eagerly asked for their reward. Xue didn't say anything, but he also wanted to continue where they left off earlier.

Of course, Tang Tang is also waiting for it. The night is still young.

Dui clenched his fist and was on the verge of crying, but he still shouted. "I'm sorry!"

Tang Tang smile. He rubbed the furry head with the cute, fluffy little ear of Dui. "Don't fight anymore, okay?"

Dui nodded and hugged his neck, which made him almost fall down.

"Why are the four of you here?" he asked the other two cute little females, obediently standing on the side.

"We go to the farm and the hill, but you're not there," Bel answered.

This is one of the good things that happened when Gio laid low for the time being. He didn't know the reason, but he was thankful for it.

The other sub-beasts that are not part of Gio and Kea's group started talking to him. They confessed that Gio ordered them to ignore him or they wouldn't like the consequences, and because they were scared of Yul, they obeyed.

But now that Gio has not shown up around the tribe for days and Yul is even helping him, they now have the courage to mingle with him, and even their children have started to look for him to play.

Tang Tang didn't mind their previous actions. As long as they don't do anything to harm him, he will turn a blind eye to it. He also understands that this is a place where the strong will always rule the weak.

"Why are you looking for me?" he asked.

Dui raised his head and handed him a small fruit. "I want to give you this."

"Me too." Ras followed and also handed him a small fruit.

Tang Tang smiles and takes the fruit. He once rejected the cubs, and they never stopped crying. Now that he has learned his lesson, he has accepted it and will eat it with them instead.

"Let's go inside. We still have a lot of soy milk there," Tang Tang said, leading the four little cute kids inside.

Before he went inside, he looked at the tree not far away and sighed.
