1 Young Man

A world with 3 Continents separated by the sea, looking at it from a high vantage point, the continents are in a manner such, it forms a triangle in the middle. Connecting the continents are islands in the middle of the sea, Myriad Isle, name of the collective islands.

The History of the world dates back to ancient times, but people have still not been able to find the truth of the world, Holy Continent, Emerald Continent, Clover Continent and the Myriad Isle makes up the Heavenly Star Planet.

Holy Church governing the Holy Continent, Fire Empire and Ice Empire splitting the Emerald Continent, Clover Continent ruled by the Clover Empire, and The Barbarians residing in the Myriad Isle.

Heavenly Star a mysterious planet that holds an extraordinary secret, one that would lead to destruction, the secret lies in the depths of the Myriads Isle, which is worshipped by the barbarians.

Greenview City, Fire Empire, Emerald Continent.

Night, on a cliff, a silhouette of a young man sitting as he gazes into the stars, he looked 12-13 years old, but his expression calm, moonlight shining upon the lake below the cliff. The young man continued peering into the void, his face pale with rosy cheeks, the epitome of handsomeness and beauty, a picturesque scene.

A genius of his family, subject to respect, envy and jealousy, his pride shattered, not because he lost the talent but due to an experience, something that shook him to the core.

"What genius, I don't deserve to be a genius, someone who ran away in the face of death, cried and shit himself." He scoffed with self-ridicule.

He had a secret that no one knows, something that still makes his hair stand. The young man experienced something that should not happen to any other person, but he was thankful for this encounter, he realised, his pride and talent worth nought.

"I should be happy with this, reaped a lot of benefits even though I suffered, it doesn't matter even if you have talent. The most important aspect is to have strength, otherwise, you're dead." His face determined.

Honestly, the world is a place where strength matters the most, money, knowledge, information all are required to make you live. People seek pleasure differently, for you to achieve your dreams and goals, an important aspect, strength.

Someone who realises that he is weak, probably will be successful because he will perceive that he is weak. So, they will work harder, be more cautious and seek success, something that will make them happy and content with life.

As the young man kept murmuring to himself, a shadow seen hurrying from a distance, once the shadow came closer, it was possible to see the figure, a 16-17-year-old girl, pale face with rosy cheeks and thin brows, an hourglass figure, amber hair which was shinning in the night.

"Young Master, here you are, I have been looking for you everywhere." She complained.

The young man turned his head and looked at her.

"Please hurry, Master is looking for you." She sweetly smiled.

The young man smiled as if all his worries disappeared. All though he was the young lord of the family, he did not have many friends, this young maid was the only one close to him since young.

"Yeah, Let's go back." He smiled.

The young women dazed as she looked at his smile and blushed, hurriedly put her head down and calmed herself.

"Yes." She replied softly.

Inside a room, a man standing as he looked out the window, lost in thought with brows furrowed. He looked sturdy and had board shoulders, he had a rough beard, and eyes gleamed intelligence.

The room had a bookshelf and table near the window, he turned and picked a letter on the desk, reading it a couple of times, sat down and wrote his reply.

He completed the letter and signed it.

"Hm...Trouble arriving earlier than expected." He sighed.

As the man was pondering, the door to his room opened, and along with it, he heard a voice.

" Father, You have called for me."

As the man looked at the person who entered his room, his eyes lit up and smiled.

"You did not come to have dinner, so I was worried about you." The man reprimanded.

"Hehe... Sorry." The Young Man awkwardly replied.

"Hm." The man did not reproach further.

"So, What is it?" The Young man slyly smiled.

The man was surprised and thought to himself.

"When did he become so mature, it's like his whole demeanour changed." He did not give further thought to it.

"Few issues arose in our base near Spring Town, so I will be gone for a few days, be sure to behave." The man stern.

" Yes, Father." The boy replied.

"Now, Go." The man ordered, waving his hands.

As the young man left the room, the man resumed his work.

Outside, the young walking in a long path, went to his room to rest for the night.

"Looks like the problem is very big since father himself had to leave and attend to it, I need to hurry up and increase my strength." He sighed.

He closed his eyes and fell into a dream-like state, when he opened his eye he was in a void where it was completely white, floating in the air was a golden script. It was giving off a mysterious aura, as the young man looked towards the book, he remembered the encounter that he had in the mysterious cave and shivered.

"Everything I went thru in the cave, is just the beginning, I need to grow stronger and reach THAT level, no matter what, I will rule the world, not only to protect the ones I love but also due to my selfishness." The young man smiled with pride.

"I will reach the Top because my name is Asta. I will shine the brightest like a star." Asta calmly stated.

Notes:

1. The name Asta means Star. (Though it is more of an feminine name, i like it a lot so i'm using it)

2. The planet is Heavenly Star, as stated in the chapter, the 3 continents are surrounded by water and between the continents are islands, which are named Myriads Isle.

I will be writing a few things here to explain any issues with the chapter.
