2 Starting a New Life

A cold morning has arrived, Grayschool Military High School opened the gate. Enormous amount of students started to go inside. Different students with different nobilities. Grayschool is a famous military school because of it's strict discipline, they don't tolerate weak personality and weak power. To be able to pass the entrance examination, you should be able to impress them with your natural element and ability. If you pass their standards then you are qualified to become their student. It's such a privilege to attend at a high ranked school. Luckily enough, Sugar was qualified because of his unique skill called "Healing". In the country of Riverflow, only few can master this kind of skill. To be able to do this, you must acquire the natural element "Light". Sugar has a natural element light, and with these he can do the unusual skill that makes him scholar in the school. His tuition fee has been cut off up to 70%. This helps Sugar a lot to continue school.

"I'm glad I've taken the scholarship application, who knows what would've happen of I didn't". Sugar said.

The tent where Sugar live is near on the school he went. He can just walk for 10 minutes to arrive there. On City H, where Sugar lives, the Area is not that high on traffic and population. City H can be found on south east in the country. There are over 26 cities in Riverflow.

On that cold morning, Sugar has arrived. Looking at the tall building at the entrance, he was so amazed that he was almost on his knees. It's his dream school after all. Sugar then proceed to the school ceremony. A vast amount of student were at the hall, some are still standing and chatting, some are already sitting and some are looking for their lost friends. As for Sugar, who is just new to the place felt alone. While sitting at the back row inside the hall, while waiting for the ceremony to start, someone called him.

"Hey Sugar!?" gentle voice coming from a girl.

He then turns around and is surprised.

"Emma?" Sugar asked.

"Yeah it's me, Sugar." Emma replied.

Emma was Sugar's childhood friend from where he first arrived at their family's house. Emma is the niece of Sugar's adoptive father. Sugar is so shy that he can't talk before, but with the help of Emma, Sugar became more confident in talking little by little. Sugar belong to the Duke family as his adoptive father was the Duke. Sugar was the second son of the duke(as adoptive). The eldest son was the biological son of the duke. Emma was his cousin in the name of law, but now, Sugar was stripped from the family and is now considered as Normal.

"I heard the story Sugar, I'm just sad just by thinking about it. I've been looking for you for a long time." Emma said with teary eyes.

"I'm fine from the past 3 moths, my Senior helped me in some things including a home and food. You don't need to worry that much. And also I'm surprised that we are at the same school. You lived in City C right? That's far away." Sugar replied.

"I'm glad that you're ok. I know that you're going in this school, you said it many times before right? And also, my mother has mansion in this city, so I decided to live here for a while. I needed it to make sure to find you and determine if you're fine." Emma said while wiping her tears out.

"Thank you for worrying about me, but it's about time to start the ceremony. We shall continue this after class ok?" Sugar smiled and take the seat.

As the head teacher steps on the stage and test the mic, the hall suddenly filled with silence. The silent room began to get lively as the head teacher speak. Giving speech to the students, congratulating and welcoming the first years for their acceptance to the school. The speech is coming to an end, and the head teacher announce the highest of the first years in entrance exam.

"Brian Abraham." the teacher loudly announced.

Brian then walk in the from carpet to the stage. The eye of the young ladies inside the hall began to shape like heart as they saw a good looking young man with a fit body. The girls were surprised by the intelligence of the young man as he spoke in front of the students. Everyone were mesmerized by the way he fluently threw the messages he portrayed towards his fellow first years.

"With the privilege we receive from this power school, we must do our best to capture their expectations and prove that we are worthy!"

"Weakness shall never show in your self when facing problems, let your weakness turn into strength!"

"We first years are now going to accept the 16 years challenge in this school!"

"With the power of elements, we will dominate those who disagree in our way of committing justice!"

"As a hero and supports, we will aid those who are in need!"

"Help each other, growth requires rivalry!"

"Find your own acquaintances and pull yourselves going to success!"

The speech Brian gave is almost done, students then slowly clapped and cheers. The head teacher then declared the ceremony end. The teacher assists the new students to identify their sections. Sugar was moved by the speech Brian has given. He was day dreaming upon catching is his dream being a Hero. Emma then pulled Sugar out of nowhere saying-

"Let's go, we are in the same section. We're going to be late, we must return now!" Emma happily said.

They both walk in the hallway and eventually reach their destination. In a class of 20 students, Emma and Sugar were the last to arrive in the classroom. They barely didn't make it. Sugar then sat in the first row at the left near the classroom's door, while Emma sat on his back. Their homeroom teacher then introduced himself.

"My name is Vlad Yuri."

Their homeroom teacher is an intelligent man, he's also a high ranked soldier in his youth life. With a fierce look and a tired-looking eyes, he's indeed a bit scary. He then announce the system inside their school.

"The class is divided by 2 categories, intelligence practice and combat practice."

"Morning classes are focusing on intellectual studies."

"Afternoon classes are focusing on combat training."

"Some of you may be separated in the afternoon because your specific course may be Hero or Support."

The class were silent upon understanding the system. Mr. Vlad then instructed his student to introduce their selves before ending his class. He also mentioned to mention their natural elements as they expose their selves.

With Sugar in the first row, he nervously say-

"I- I'm Sugar, 16 year old and has a light element."

Everyone in the room were surprised on what they heard. They were shocked in the fact that he has the rare element, but they were more shocked when they learned that he has no last name. Mr. Vlad then ask a question.

"Don't you have a last name?"

"I don't have one sir, I was kicked out." Sugar sadly respond.

The crowd were confused at the moment, you can hear some of them muttering-

"He has a rare element but he's a normal."

"Why does he acquire it when he's a disgrace in his family."

"Yeah yeah, like light element bestowed upon a normal human."

"Despite his element, he is more suited in dark element."

Sugar felt strike by sharp words and intimidating eyes, Emma then comforted him. The Introduction then proceeded upto Emma.

"I'm Emma Jester, 16 year old and has a water element."

Emma then take the seat. The boys in class looks like they have been fallen for Emma's beauty. With an orange short hair, a blood red eye, soft skin, nice body with big watermelons and a nice pumpum, every boy who'll look may fall onto her. As the introduction come in to last person, Sugar was shocked on what he heard-

"I'm Mikaela D. Eagle, 16 year old and has a fire element."

Sugar sweats and decided to pretend that he didn't hear anything special.
