"And what if I say no?"

"You'd lose out more than necessary. For instance, your life. You're not someone important, boy. We could kill you and no one would care."

"I would," said the woman as she interrupted.

"Me second," said Morgiana.

The military man looked at them as they couldn't read the room, "Anyway, my point is. If you die, it wouldn't affect the entire country."

"It would," said the quiet woman as she interrupt again.

The man thought she was joking and so, he glared at her to shut her mouth but her expression was calm. The man frowned as he asked, "Why?"

"It only endangers him if I reply to you." She shook her head, "Flare, you know my innate ability well. That youth's Fate Constitution beyond the word extraordinary. If he got killed now, you don't want to know what's going to happen," she replied.

The military old man, Flare, stay silent as he looked at Xu An and observed him from top to bottom. This youth was more than meets the eye, apparently.

"Boy, accept the challenge," said the quiet woman. Hum... she spoke many so it was weird to use the word 'quiet' on her. Then again, we know nothing about her. She might be chatty now because Xu An interested her.

"Why? I only get myself killed! Plus, who are you and which side are you in?"

"Who am I and whose side I'm in doesn't matter. What's important is your decision, accept it or not. Based on your decision, it'll determine and change your life tremendously. Be wise," she replied.

"Xu An, don't. It's too dangerous," advised Morgiana.

Xu An wasn't sure but he felt like if not for the quiet woman interrupt them. Morgiana might be the one who suggested the Death Rush and infuriate a lot of people in the process.

Xu An squeezed his chin as he pondered the cons and pros. The thing that made him worry the most was his strength. The difference between him and Chin Sha was akin to heavens and earth.

Benefits move a lot of people. Xu An no exception. The problem lies in the woman, she chose to be vague about the benefit he might get. If what he got was not worth the energy and time, he might regret it later on, but if he said no and it turned out the benefit– in actuality– worth the trouble. The regret might be bigger.

After contemplating inside his mind, he came to a decision, "Sure, why not."

"Then it's decided. Shall we talk about the bet? If Xu An wins, he will get an apology from Lord Gako and my help, and if Chin Sha wins, Morgiana will be Lord Gako's slave no matter what. Do both parties accept?" She asked.

"Hold on, I'm risking my life here and what I got is a simple apology and your help?" Xu An felt the bet was ridiculous and he lost a lot.

"I forget to tell you but she's a Paladin. If she offers her help to you. It's more valuable than an entirety of a five stars kingdom and its resources," Flare explained.

Xu An widened his eyes as he was shocked. In the next instant though, he calmed himself, "I know a Paladin is rare but to say she's more valuable than what you said, on what ground you can say it so confidently?"

"I can do a lot of things, one of which telling you what you truly desire and guiding you until you get it," she explained.

"But it's still lacking being compared to an entirety of a five stars kingdom and its resources."

"What do you like?"

"I like sweet things," replied Xu An instantly.

"Very well. I can make a sweet roll for the rest of your life," she said with a straight face.

"Deal, let's do it." He agreed with solemnity.

"Be serious!" Morgiana slapped the back of Xu An's head as hard as possible. His head swayed about like the head of a spring doll toy for car decoration.

Xu An stroke the back of his head to ease the pain and looked at Morgiana, "I'm serious. Plus, after much thinking. If I say no. They'll come and disturb you again. I don't really care about her help but what's more important is you. As long as you're okay, I'm willing to help because you're my friend."

Morgiana's heart filled with warmth when he said those words. However, when he said he helped her because she's his friend. It felt like she just got rejected.

Guys always confess their love to her and she said no without trouble. Now, however, she knew how it felt. It felt like something sharp pierce her heart.

"I'll accept but under one condition. Don't disturb Morgiana until Death Rush starts."

"Deal," said the Grand Noble, or rather. Lord Gako with an expressionless face.

Knowing Lord Gako agreed with his condition. Chin Sha had no reason to back down, "I am my Lord's sword. I'm willing to do anything for him. I, Chin Sha, am willing to participate in Death Rush."

"Since we've reached this point, you are free to choose which dungeon our Death Rush is going to take place," said Xu An calmly.
