3 Practicing Phoenix Phantasm of Eternity

Nothing was free. Everything had prices.

If the price was his life. The chance of him dying might increase considerably. If he ceased to exist without knowing the cause, that would be terrible!

Fortunately, the book manual in his mind flipped its pages and showed him the answer.

He was shocked seeing it flipped its own pages as though a sentient being.

His face was satisfied after reading it.

I see. It needs a human seed with a rich qi and negative emotions imbued. It must be fed three times a week, he recited the manual book with a hushing tone.

His brows slightly knitted as he speculated inwardly, Still, human seed? Where could I get it? By ripping open a pregnant lady? No, he quickly shook off such gore speculation.

I need to find what they are. The book didn't say anything about it; I had to find a way. Otherwise, this flower would die. If that happens, how else should I progress my cultivation?

His first thought of cultivation was so-so but after a sequence of events. He was hopeful and excited. He forgot the feeling of getting stronger and the sense of achieving it.

The reason why he didn't think of this from the start; he wanted to live in peace, but the opportunity came at him.

He would be a fool to miss such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! No, perhaps once in a million years.

This is what it calls a fortuitous encounter! He exclaimed with great anticipation with eyes sparkled. For a second there, he forgot about his age. Making him look like a child.

He calmed his emotions and reassessed his body once more.

In the First Mortal Stage, he only had one dantian which stored qi. That dantian would then refine the qi he absorbed from the heaven and earth and temper his blood and qi. Because his meridians were clear of impurities, the flow of the refined qi was quick.

Akin to a river in heavy rain.

Within seconds, all the refined qi successfully circulate his body.

This much progress was equivalent to six hours of cultivating! And adding that with how faster his blood being tempered.

He was now at the peak of the First Mortal Stage. In minutes, he skipped five years of hard work!

As a cultivator at the peak of the First Mortal Stage– the blood and qi could be combined, resulting in him harnessing a greater strength!

He was delighted, especially thinking how he skipped five years of work this shortly!

If one flower skipped that much time and made him reach the peak of the First Mortal Stage of the first stage. Perhaps the next one allowed him to ascend and stopped right at the edge of the second stage!

At this point, Xu An suddenly had a thought and became a bit doubtful, still, how many flowers could be planted?

The book in his mind began to flip on its own. It stopped at the early part of the book.

His expression became strange. Clearly, he had read this early part of the book, yet how come he missed it? Putting this thought aside for a moment.

He read it and figured that he could plant two more flowers, and then that was it. Until it was fed with human seed, it wouldn't change flowers to one with a high concentration of qi.

So in a week, I could plant three flowers as long as I fed the soil with three human seeds. What would happen if I nourished it with six tiny human seeds in a week? He shook his head bitterly.

He didn't know what it was, so he shall take things one step at a time.

Anyway, as long as the soil had black flower roots. That soil would make any flower planted changed into cultivation resources.

The engagement party was going to start before nine. Although the world setting seemed to be ancient China, the technology was more advanced than he thought.

Xu An lifted his head and saw a clock hung on the wall. It was a wooden, simple clock.

It was six pm. Xu An had time. Thus, planting one more flower and eating it. He circulated the qi to his dantian.

Now he noticed it. His qi was unique. It was pretty distinguishable from an ordinary one.

He didn't know what made it different, but he could tell it simply by feeling it as it flowed through his meridians until it stopped at his dantian.

The next start was tempering his mind and heart. This goes without saying, a smooth sailing one.

However, the process was slightly complicated. The refined qi still tempered blood and qi, as well as the mind and heart.

Xu An slightly doubted that one flower was enough, but he was shocked when he found out that the cost of his refined qi to temper his mind and heart was lower than the first stage.

He immediately attributed this to the cultivation technique he was practicing.

In one hour, he reached the early stage of the third stage! He was in disbelief and shocked. He thought he would stop at the peak of the second stage, yet heaven was apparently in a good mood.

The more I advance, the less required the refined qi to be used. This is basically a heaven-defying cultivation technique! He exclaimed in his heart, extremely perplexed and scared.

He was scared because once someone figured out such a technique. He would be dead!

Better to lay low, he said to himself.

Anyway, for him to advance three stages within a short time. Such quick advancement was monstrous and only applied to a freak!

He examined his body once more, his mind turned quite clear, and his memories had greatly improved.

His mind comprehension was further enhanced. This means he could see movements indistinguishable by mortals, yet for him. One's speed looked slow.

Another effect; he could think three times faster than an ordinary mortal. This was the advantage he got from the cultivation technique he practiced. Not from reaching the third stage.

It appeared the technique wasn't as simple as it seemed. Xu An convinced that with time. He would learn more of this heaven-defying technique.

In this aspect, he thought to himself; although the book in my mind covers this particular technique, it isn't written in detail. Otherwise, it should tell me the pros and cons of it.

Little did he know that. If the thought of his, should it be heard by experts. They might choke out their own blood and immediately curse him to death.

The technique he had learned, was without a doubt, a high-quality technique. Such a thing was unbelievably rare, and if one found it.

It usually missed some parts. This caused them to only learn fifty percent of it. So Xu An was basically a person showered with monstrous luck.

Putting the thought that the book manual was incomplete to the corner of his mind, he continued to examine the changes in his body.

His range of vision increased. .

Of course, this happened in his vision. That wasn't the only thing; his blood and qi further tempered. If one touched it, his skin was as tough as steel!

Not even a sword could do much damage! Of course, this only applied to lower-quality blades.

His strength and agility powered up too. Perhaps if he punched a wall, it would leave a hole.

Huff… I haven't noticed this, but it seems to guide qi drain my mental spirit, he noted as he was mentally exhausted.

He felt sleepy, and his line of thought became sluggish.

Sweat beads flowed across his forehead to his chin.

He was a cultivator with average talent, after all. So guiding qi nonstop and even advancing three stages within a short period, such an outcome was expected.

Luckily, his mental spirit became powerful, but he required a proper rest to restore his worn-out mentality fully.

If he continued to cultivate in such a state. He might lose focus when guiding his qi and end up going berserk.

Thus, he calmed his mind and looked at the clock. There was time left, so he took a short nap.

After some time, he got up with a lighter mind. His exhaustion was cleared either physically or mentally but not entirely.

This was what you got upon reaching the third stage. One's recovery became faster.

He then changed his clothes into an ordinary robe. He cut the rope which was still around his neck with a sword.

Next, he wore a red scarf and placed his sword on his waist.

He left the hut, and after walking for around forty-five minutes, he arrived at the city's gate.

The night was windy and chilly. His red scarf along with his long, braided black hair fluttered in the wind as he approached the city gate.

Two guards were standing before the gate. They were dressed in light, silver armor with their muscles highlighted thanks to their armor.

They were in the Third Stage of Sea Condensed Dantian. Their spiritual senses were quite sensitive and terrifying but, still, when Xu An entered the gate with silent steps and a deadpan expression.

They did not notice a young boy walking past them! They keep laughing and talking.
