A New Life
Test Examiner: Alright everyone, you have all been tested and and grouped into classes based on your elements. Take your time and get acquainted with the environment.
With that said, everyone left the test ground and headed to different directions. Leo was walking towards the entrance of the academy to bid his father farewell when he heard his name.
Aaron: Leonardo! Leonardo!!
Leonardo:What is it Aaron?
Aaron: Where are you in a rush too?
Leonardo: (ignoring him and walking forward) none of your business dude.
Aaron: (walking behind him) OK, then I guess I will also walk in this direction.
Leonardo: (not caring) suit yourself kid.
Aaron: don't call me kid you idiot. we are the same age you asshole.
Leo didn't reply and kept walking towards the academy's entrance.
**********Academy Entrance*************
Looking around, Leo quickly identified his fathers mount. Looking closer, he saw his father in a conversation with the Dean of the academy. he walked towards them, with Aaron still tagging along.
Leonardo: Leonardo greets the dean.
Fredrick: haa. The new monst... cough .... I mean, how are you Leonardo?
Leonardo: Very well sir.
Edward: wow! Leo you work fast. You made a friend already? (looking at Aaron) How are you Prince Aaron?
Aaron: Greetings Duke Edward, Dean Fredrick.
Edward: Drop the formalities Aaron. What is Wade up to these days? I haven't seen him in a week.
Aaron: Dad has been busy with paper work lately. Since his coronation is in a few months from now.
Edward: Oh dear! that's gonna hurt. Well, he who wears the crown, bears the crown.
************Ding*Dong*Ding*Dong***************
Fredrick: that's my cue. say your goodbyes. You wouldn't want to get punished on your first day would you? (saying this, he disappeared)
Edward: (looking at Leo with a serious face) Leonardo, your journey to the top starts here. You will make new friends, treasure them, and enemies, make them know the difference between you and them. you are a Gonzales after all (he said with a smirk). Train harder and get stronger. Power defines this world, so get power and stand at the peak. And most importantly, get power the right way.(Now looking at Aaron) Take care of him would you.
Aaron: No problem Uncle Edward.
Edward got on his winged tiger and waved Leonardo and Aaron good bye. with a incredible speed, the winged tiger took of and was completely outta sight. Leo turned around preparing to head towards his room. Looking back, he saw Aaron smiling.
Leonardo: what is it?
Aaron: (smiling) Oh nothing. Whats your room number anyway?
Leonardo: 18. Yours?
Aaron: 18 also.
Leo let out a little smile very hard to notice. But unfortunately, Aaron saw it.
Aaron: did you just smile?
Leonardo: NO, you.... you must be hallucinating.
Aaron: Ha-Ha.Come on bro, you don't wanna get punished on the first day would you?
Both of them left the entrance and went straight to their room.

*Next Morning*
By this time, most of the students were ready for class.Most of them were eager to start. As this was their first class, the students were eager to show off and claim the top spot on the social ladder. Everyone wants to be the cool and popular kid. In actual facts, by the standard of the academy, students only receive general guidance in the BASIC areas of development in their cultivation, for example, how to utilize mana, mana control, how to expand the mana pool in the body and other basic stuffs. And teachers are to assist when a students is having trouble advancing or at a bottle neck. This rules are to make the young ones more "self dependent". However, students are allowed to have guardian teachers only if the teacher acknowledges the students.
Leonardo had no interest in listening to the basics so he went straight to the library. On getting there, he saw familiar faces. Not that he was close to these people,but he had made a mental calculation of the students that took the test and measured their capabilities. At the entrance of the Library, another familiar figure sat in a rocking chair. Just a glance at him, anybody would think he was asleep. Leo walked up to him and said
Leonardo: Leonardo greets the Head librarian.
Anderson: (in a sleepy voice) you can go ahead and check what you need in the library. Don't cause a ruckus, don't take out any books, you can stay in there as long as you want and most importantly, don't make me stress myself.
Leonardo, with a bow, said his thanks and walked in. If Leo had looked back, he would have been shocked that the person he just conversed with was no longer in his chair.
Leo walked into the library and was amazed. The library was damn huge. Looking at it from the outside, it looked like a building with just about two to three floors, but the inside was on a whole different level. Inside the library were five pillars. Four at the corners of the library and one at the center. The library had 9 floors and each floor of the library was fully packed. Not minding other people in the library, Leo walked around looking through scroll after scroll, hoping to find something that he could add to his training in both sword and magic. Nobody paid any attention to him, actually, in the library, everyone seem to be in a world of their own. Nobody cares about another persons doing, so far it doesn't cause distractions to them. Leo searched around the first floor of the library. According to him, the techniques he saw in those scrolls were just too poor or rather, below his standards, after all,our dear Leonardo is already in the noble knight realm. Leo headed straight to the second floor in search of better techniques for him to use.
*****Deans Office*********
Rose: He is what!!!
Anderson: I didn't want to believe that he was also in the noble knight realm also but take a look, he is in the second floor of the library.(looking at Rose with a grin) As we all know, only people students at the 6th stage upwards of the squire realm can enter the second floor.
Fredrick: Lets observe him shall we to confirm if he truly is in the noble knight realm.
Anderson: And if he his?
At this point, they all had a confused expressions on their faces.
Fredrick: you are right. I have an idea.
**************Library***************
Just like the first floor, Leonardo found no suitable technique that complimented his fighting style. And as he did previously, he walked up to the third floor. From the second floor upward, the number of people on each floor reduced and it's as a result of the different times people had breakthroughs to a new realm or stage. On getting to the third floor, Leo observed that the people there seemed to be 4 to 5 years older than he was. No one paid attention to people coming here as its believed that you already have the qualifications to be here. Leo looked around and came across an isolated book at a farer end section on a shelf on the third floor of the library.
Leonardo: (thinking) What is this?
Looking at the book, he felt a vibration from his body. It was like the book was calling out to him. Immediately he touched the book, a small cut appeared on the palm of his hand.
Leonardo: (with a confused expression) What the...?
A drop of Leo's blood touched the book and it immediately turned into a streak of light and entered Leo's body through his eyes. Leo sat cross legged as he tried to control the massive amount of information flooding his brain.
While Leo was assimilating the knowledge he was receiving, he was pulled into his subconscious.
Leonardo: where am I?
And then, he heard a voice.
***********Dean's Office**********
Fredrick : That settles it. He is to report to my office at once. Anderson, make sure no one interrupts him and more importantly, make sure no one notices him.
Rose: (looking at Anderson) please don't screw this up.
Anderson lazily walked out of the office yawning, don't worry, I wouldn't want Thomas going crazy on me would I?
