5 The phone call

2 hours later, in Manhattan

"Big sisi, which one do you like? Red or Black? I have to attend a party tomorrow night anddd my crush 'Peter' is hosting it. So I want to look the best."

"Aww my baby, you always look beautiful. Take both of them."

"Thank you sisi" Chloe hugged her tight.

"You are spoiling her sisi." Joey teased.

"Oh buddy, you are just jealous cause big sisi loves me the most" replied Chloe.

"In your dreams" said Joey.

Bella laughed watching her two little minions "Stop it you two"

"Big sisi I am starving please let's go and eat something" said Joey

"Chloe, do you need anything else?"

"No sis, I am done"

"Okay then let's go. What do you guys wanna eat"

"Pizaaaaaaaa" replied the two kids excitedly.

"Hahaha I knew it. Come on, let's go now"

They went to a pizza place nearby.

"You guys take your seats and I'll go and order for you, okay?" Said Bella

"Okay sisi" they both chose a table near the window.

Bella went to the counter.

"Hello mam, what would you like to order?"said the server with a warm smile.

"Uh, 1 large pepperoni pizza and.." suddenly her phone rang. "Um.. excuse me I'll be right back in a minute" she replied and picked up the call.

"Yeah speaking. How may I help you?"

Suddenly tears started flowing down from her beautiful eyes and she collapsed to the ground. Joey and Chloe saw her and rushed towards her. "Sisi, what happened? Are you alright? Why are you crying?"

"George" she cried unaware of her surroundings. She felt as if her life has stopped.

"Sisi what happened to brother-in-law? Please say something. You are scaring us."

She stood up and rushed out of the pizza place. Joey and Chloe too ran after her. They managed to catch her. "Sisi tell us something"

"I have to go. George needs me."

"Okay we'll take you to him. You can't drive in such a state. Chloe you sit with her at the back seat."

Meanwhile, in another part of the city

"Grandma, you two are spoiling me with all your love."

"Oh my dear child, you have always been our favourite."

"Hahaha I love you both so much."

"Noah, when are you planning a child? We want to become great grandmothers" teased his grandma.

"Soon granny soon." said Noah with a wink.

Suddenly his phone rang, "excuse me my dear ladies" he said and went to a corner to pick up his phone.

"Hello"

"Yes, I am in Manhattan"

He dropped his phone and his expressions became pale.

Grandmothers noticed it and rushed towards his side.

"What happened Noah?"

"Who was it?"

Noah became numb.

"My dear, why are you not replying?"

"Noah" grandma shook him by his shoulders.

"I have to go" he took his car keys and rushed out of the house.
