3 the bracelet and portion

After the punishment I went to have my bath,geami was there as usual to assist me,I entered the bath tub as she scrubbed my back for me

"am thinking of going out,geami" I said

she didn't talk but judging by the way I couldn't feel her scrubbing me anymore I know she had heard

"you shouldn't"she said curtly

"I feel Like a prisoner,come on...its suffocating,I just want to go out,am not going to run away I'll be back"

"I take it your father hasn't heard about this"

"he hasn't"

"so why are you telling me?"

"you know why"I said as I turned around to stare at her and pout

"am not helping you"

"come on!!" I pouted cutely

"that face doesn't work on me,am not a guy"she rolled her eyes

geami was pretty too,with long black hair and brown eyes and thick eyelashes,I consider she's one of the prettiest girls in town too,but what do I know,ive only seen four girls in my life,thats geami,Lin xu,su lan,muroun li and xalin Lin,my best friend and the four other maids am allowed to see,geami is the prettiest of them though

"its impossible,there is no way for you to go out and you don't have perfect control of your powers and how would you mask your powerful aura and youve never seen a demon before how would you recognize one,I know there is a barrier around the village,but I know you,you are definitely going outside the village,so how will you protect yourself and don't forget demon and danger beasts,am not doing it ,okay.....am not going to pretend to help you by risking your life"

"you think I can't afford to defeat a few demon beasts,come on,how do u expect me to take on the demon lord if I can't fight animals that are comparable to pets to him,and besides I can recognize demons,don't they all sprout horns and have long teeths and are ugly"

"I want to go out with or without your help"

"you'll have to get by without it"she frowned

"fine!!"

"you can leave now,I'll scrub myself"I said,and she left without looking back

if I was going to go out I needed things that would help me supress my powers and normal clothes too,I so definitely can't pull this off without help,I heaved a huge sign and sang deeper into my bath,I wonder how the outside world looked like,I finished my bath and wore a robe,I went to sit in my room and tried to braid my hair myself,after that I went into meditation time,for my cultivation method I needed intense concentration and patience and understanding,hence the meditation,I usually meditate for almost five hours of a day and so no one comes in my room during those times,I was slightly shocked when I heard a knock because I felt like I was off earth and the knock brought me back,this is why I can't meditate in dangerous places,I was absolutely off guard

the door opened and Geami came in and took a deep breath and sat beside me

"sorry about earlier"I bit my lips,it was her choice if she wanted to help or not I didn't need to be rude about it

"am sorry too"she said

"you can just forget everything I said"

there was silence,then she spoke in a barely audible voice but I heard it anyways

"so you won't be needing these anymore?"she asked as she unraveled the things she hid in her cloth,just two items,a bracelet and something that looks like a portion

i looked at her quizzically

"the bracelet belonged to your mother,I took it from her room,your father left it as it for all this years,I suspect since she died,am in charge of cleaning it,so I took it,if your father ever finds out I'll lose my life for this"she said

I touched it gently,my mother wore this?....how lovely,I was so happy but then I became scared

"this is not worth wavering your life over,return it"

"no!...if you are going to be reckless,so am I,am only gonna be in trouble if your dad finds out,and he can only find out if something happened to you,then if something happened to you I deserve to die truly"

"don't be silly,take it back I don't even know what it does"

"its a jade bracelet you fool"she laughed"if you wear it it will hide your sprit energy,it will make you look like you are half the level you are,meaning if you wear it you will look like you are on level three,and not only will you look like it,you will feel it,it restricts energy"she explained

I stared wide eyed

"and that portion,with a drop of my blood it will make you look like me,as long as you are at least a good distance from me,meaning after you leave this surrounding you will look normal back,but immediately you are in sight you will look like me again,it will help you with the guards,you can freely walk out,it will only stop working after you come face to face with me again.....this is all I could help you with,am sorry" she said

she was shocked as I pulled her in an embrace

"this is far more than enough,am so happy you are my friend,thank you,thank you so much" I screamed

she hugged me back

"so...when are you going?"

"now!!!"

"now?"

"its perfect timing,everyone will be expecting me to be meditating and no one will come to look for me for five hours"

she reasoned and shook her head,she picked a pin and pinched her hand with it,her blood dropped on the cover and she poured a little out of the portion in it she handed it over to me and I smiled and drank it,I turned to my mirror and looked at myself

"oh my goodness,I look EXACTLY like you"

"yeah,stay here I'll bring some of my clothes for you"she smiled

when she came back and I changed and finally wore the bracelet,I could feel my energy being suppressed or sealed ,I hugged her one more time

"this means a lot to me"I hugged her and took a step out of my room,I continued to walk,pass my training grounds,pass my maid quarters ,pass the quards until I got out of my compound for the first time in my life
