2 Prologue

A Great War happens between the 3 factions: Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels. Their faction leaders died alongside with the 2 Heavenly Dragon. One question remains. Who kills them? A nephalem. A being who is a half angel and half devil.

His name is Estarossa Blaze. A being who recognized as a strong being by every faction. His power still lingers in their mind. He practically made a sun attack and kill the dragons. He also manages to crush any magic that comes attacking him. The sight of him making the space around him separated from each other still imprinted in their mind. His godlike strength that manages to kill a high ranking fallen angel in one punch.

The sight of him swing in his axe still scares them but even he is not invincible after fighting the leaders who are strong. He then disappears from the battlefield.

He then reappears once more during the civil war to defeat the Old Maou faction but his injuries did not heal fully. He keeps pushing his body until his body is broken. He then delivers his final attack thus finishing his last breath. His body disappears in a particle of light. The New Devils Society recognize him as a hero but as time passes his existence only recognize by the new devils as a myth. But soon his power will be used by someone who promises to be stronger than himself.

GENERAL POV

A 6-year-old boy is walking through a forest. His body is pretty beaten up. His name is Escanor Knight. A noble family of a country. He is the second son of his family but was neglected by his family. His brother and younger sister are prophecized to bring greatness to the country while he had nothing and no greatness will come to the country.

He is considered trash in his family. The servants act rudely to him. His brother always beat him with his younger sister. They always mock him and call him trash. His parent did not even notice his existence.

Until today, he heard whispers about killing him since he is rumoured will bring chaos to the country. He immediately packs his things and runs through the forest the minute he heard the news. Luckily, he manages to steal a boat. He then boards the family and looks at his homeplace. No, that was hell to him. The boat keeps sailing and he eventually fell asleep.

Then he wakes up and sees a storm come to him. He sees his death. No way he will survive the tornado. He cries after remembering his life. Not a single happy moment. Why is his life not fair? He was neglected, abused and mocked. He cried and the storm hit him. He closes his eyes and already accepts his fate to die. Then his body is an envelope in light and he disappears from the storm.

He opens his eyes and sees he is in a cave. Then someone cough. He then sees a white-haired man. He instinctively tries to run but the man speak."Calm down young one. I will not harm you." The man said in a kind voice. He then starts to calm. Then the man clapped his hand and many plates of food and glass of drink appeared in front of him."Why don't we eat first?" The man asks while smiling. He just nods.

Then he starts to eat. He eats the foods hungrily. The man laughs seeing that. Escanor feels weird since the man did not even eat but he keeps eating. He then finishes eating the foods and drinks the glass of water.

"Thank you, mister, for giving me foods and water." He thanks him. The man just smiles."It's nothing Escanor Knight." he said and Escanor widens his eyes. This man knows his name."Calm down, I will not harm you like those people in your country. It's hard to believe that humans will hurt a child. I already know about your life. I pity you and at the same time admire you. You keep living with all the hatred around you. You are a strong boy Escanor." The man said and Escanor cries. He cries happily since this man calls himself strong. Someone never said to him. They always call him trash and weakling.

The man then hugs him and comfort him. For the first time, he feels warm. He hugs the man back while sobbing.

A few minutes later

"So why am I here?" Escanor ask."First, I want to tell ask you a question, do you know about the supernatural?" he asks him."You mean the devils, angels and fallen angels. Yeah. What about them?" He asks him."They are real. Devils, Angels, and Fallen angels exist. They exist in this world." Escanor's eyes widened. "First, I should introduce myself. My name is Escanor Blaze, a nephalem, the one who ended the Great War and the hero of the Devils Civil War."

Wow. He really is strong."First. I should tell you about myself. A nephalem is a race that was hated by every race. A nephalem is half devil half angel being. That means the holy attack will not hurt them. My father is a devil and my mother is an angel. They were killed by angels, fallen angels, and devils when I am still 5 years old. I manage to escape. My father is firstborn son of Lucifer while my mother is the fifth Arcangel. The one who killed them is their own parent. I see my parent dies before I teleport myself away from that place. I cried for days grieving for my parent. Then, I swore to myself to get revenge on them. I start to train. Even my body kept broken I do not care. I practice and create much magic. Then I start to kill any devils, angels and fallen angels even other races that I see and even dare try to kill me. I do not know how many I have killed. Hundreds?Thousands? I do not care.

Until the Great War happened. I see it is an opportunity to kill them. I kill the leader of 2 factions which are Devils and Angels and killed the 2 Heavenly Dragons. Then I fled. Surprisingly I do not know what to do after that. I have accomplished my revenge. I feel satisfied but at the same time, I am confused about what to do next. I then go to my house which already desolated. I discovered a letter from my parent. They ask me to move on and live happily. I also acquired the crest of my father origin, The House of Lucifer. I then burn the house and fled. I journey through the World and learn many things. I then decide to go to the Underworld. I know there's a civil war happening at the Underworld between the New Faction and Old Faction. At first, I want to help the Old Faction since I am a member of the House of Lucifer but I decide to investigate it. The Old Faction wants to bring chaos to the world while the New Faction wants to avoid it. I then join the New Faction. At first, they are aware of me since I am the killer of their leader but they accepted me after I saved many devils and kill many enemies. The battle comes to an end after I injured the leaders of the Old Faction but they manage to run away. The New Faction win the civil war and I was hailed as a hero. They ask me to become their leader but I refuse. I fled from the Underworld and I even did not come when they celebrated their victory. Why? I am badly injured. My body cannot handle the injuries anymore and I died. What you see now is a homunculus that has all my powers but I cannot use the same powers as I used to. I then stay in this place searching for a worthy successor until I find you. A human who has a strong and kind heart. Even though your life is miserable, you still keep moving on. Now I ask you Escanor, will you be my successor?" he asks Escanor.

"Yes, I will be your successor and become more powerful than you," he exclaims making Estarossa chuckle."Come here and grab my hand. All my powers, abilities, weapons and memories will be pass to you." Escanor does to him and takes his hand. Then Escanor fell so many power and memories come into his body and mind.

Several minutes passed and Escanor pant."It is a success Escanor. Now you have all my powers and memories. My weapon also is in your mind and you just need to command it to appear at your hand." Escanor nod hearing that. He already feels his body is stronger than before. But then his right hand start to throb and his right hand started to shine. He sees a gold gauntlet with a red gem on it.

"It seems you have the sacred gear of Regulus Nemea. A very strong lion," Estarossa said.

"Greetings Estarossa- sama and Escanor, my host." a voice was heard. That was Regulus."Hello Regulus Nemea. I heard your story. Pretty impressive." Estarossa said."You flatter me Estarossa-sama." Regulus said."So this is my Sacred Gear. I like lions since they are a king and I have a Sacred Gear of lion. That is so very cool. Happy to be your partner Regulus." Escanor said happily."Me too Escanor." Regulus said.

"Now you have my powers and a sacred gear. All you must do is training your powers. I want you to discover your power by yourself. First, we must make your body become stronger then we can start to train your mind and powers. Do you understand?" Estarossa asks him."Yes. I understand." he said.

"Escanor, I also forgot to mention this but I make you a nephalem like me," he said and wings appear behind Escanor. one white and one black."Wow! I have wings. Now I can fly." Escanor exclaim."I do not mind become a nephalem since I want to continue your legacy." He said to Estarossa who just smiles hearing that. And Escanor torture or training begins and Escanor sees how cruel is Estarossa in his training.

After 10 Years

Now we see Escanor is crying in front of Estarossa."Do not cry, my son. I know that this day will come." Estarossa said to him. He already views Escanor as his son as Escanor view his as his father."Father, I promise I will make you proud and surpass you." He said while crying."I believe you can do that. Now I will give you the house crest of Lucifer and this letter. I will also make you a kid again since I want you to enjoy your childhood like other kids. I will teleport you to Underworld and show this letter to their leader. They will know what to do. It seems my time is up. Remember to always train your body, mind, and powers. Know this, I will always watch over you and love you, my son, Escanor Blaze." he said then he disappears in a particle of light then the place crumbles down. Escanor then teleports away from the place.

UNDERWORLD POV

Escanor appears in a forest. He then stops crying. He steals his heart to move on. He must fulfil the promise that he made with his father."That's the spirit partner. By the way, you become a 6-year-old kid again." Regulus said to him. Escanor did not surprise hearing that seeing her father already tell him that he will become a kid again. He then starts to walk through the jungle when he hears a scream.

He runs to the direction of the scream and sees 3 big wolves is cornering a spectacle girl. He immediately envelops his first into magma and shot a magma punch to the wolf. The wolf screams in pain before it does. The other 2 immediately try to attack him. Escanor then activates his grace: Sunshine and his body then feel more powerful and heat seems to be oozing out from his body. The 2 wolves immediately lung at him but he dodges and fires a magma fist to one of the wolves but it dodge but the magma hit its leg causing it to stop its movement. The other wolf immediately lung at him and tries to claw him. He just uses his other hand to stop the claws. Then he breaks the wolf arm causing it to scream in pain before he punches its stomach causing a hole to be made in its stomach. The other wolf try to run despite its injured leg and Escanor then kills him with his magma first but then the wolf is frozen. He then senses a powerful devil is approaching them.

Then a woman appeared. Her eyes are the same as the little girl."So-tan are you okay?" she asks the girl."Yeah. I am okay Oneesama thanks to him " The girl said while pointing her finger to him."Thanks for saving me, sister." The woman thanks him. "You are welcome."

"Say are you Estarossa-sama son?" the woman asks shocking Escanor."Yes, I am indeed his son." He answered."So you are his son. Well since you have the same powers as him I trust you. So why are you here?" she asks me. I then hand the letter to her. She takes it and read it."So he died huh?" she said while tears fell down."Yes." I reply somberly. She then hugs me."Do not worry about it. Now I will take care of you." she said to me. I nod my head.

"So what is your name?" she asks."My name is Escanor Blaze." I answered."Hello, Esc tan. My name is Serafall Leviathan. This is my sister Sona Sitri. You can call me Sera chan." she introduces herself."Hello Sona-san." I greet her politely."Hello Escanor-san. You can call me Sona." she really."Then you can call me Escanor." I said and she nods.

"Okay, now I am going to bring you to meet my friend. Grab my hand Esc-tan. You too So-tan." she said and we grab his hand. She then walks while talking with me and her sister.

I promise father that I will make you proud and surpass you. I will become the strongest being to be ever alive. Just watch me, father.
