1 My Three Pixel Spouses Came To Life!

"..."

Am I still dreaming?

Wait. Let me scratch my eyes first.

"..."

They are still there...

"""Good morning, Husband!"""

Husband? Me...? Huh?

And on top of that, three. Three wives?

If my memory doesn't betray me, I'm just a normal high school student with no life.

My crush heartlessly reject my love last month and I'm a loner in the whole school! Well, in my classroom. It might've been exaggerated a bit too much, but still! Me? Having a harem!?

My parents still feeding me, I don't have the means to feed three spouses!

"Ummm... Who might you all be?"

"I'm Erise. Erise Pendragon, your wife, husband."

"Zenzarya Yrifargam, Zen for short, as what you like to call me my dear husband"

"Helen WindStorm, I'm also your wife."

Their name sounded familiar somehow but I can't quite recall it at the moment. But anyway I should address the elephant in the room first.

"Um... How did the three of you enter my house? On top of it inside my room?"

"We teleported."

"Teleported?"

"Yep!"

Zen replied.

One of the three of them, Zen has this cute and approachable aura around her so it wasn't hard to converse with her at first which I know noticed as I started to scrutinise them one by one.

Erise has this stoic image of unapproachable Ojou-sama while Helen is the opposite she imbued the image of a kind young maiden.

But one thing they three have in common. Their eyes.

They look at me with longing.

I feel like they wanted to pounce on me at short notice if I permitted them. I swear!

Then my mind started to clear up for the moment.

Don't you say-

"Eries Pendragon, The King Of Humanity, Zenzarya Yrifargam, Overlord Of Darkness, Helen WindStorm, Queen Of The Tree..." It all started to make sense somehow for me now. "Are you saying all of you...you...y-"

"Yes, husband. Are you remembering all of it now?"

Zen grasp both of my hands in her plump bosom and lunged her face on mine.

Are you serious!? They all came to the game I quit playing last night!!?

No, no, no! This all doesn't add up. It also didn't make any sense. They all came from the old pixel game!

If it's a 3D game, I might've already believed it.

But pixel? It's not even 2D!!

"Zen, stop it, you are making husband uncomfortable"

Helen pulled the excited Zen as she should be doing of what I presumably her character on the group.

"I should start explaining to you why are we here first, husband. Are you available right now, dear?"

"...okay"

I answered indecisively, unsure of it.

Helen then started her story.

According to her, they came from Inya, the post-apocalyptic world of the game background.

She dismissed most of the unnecessary things as I already know many of those because I'm the one who played it and have depth understanding of it.

Continuing the story of how I helped them rebuild their civilization and to leave them alone in their own devices 5,000 years came past before they manage to break through immortality and allowed them to traverse the universe and reunited with me.

I wanted to believe what I'm hearing right now as I observe their mannerism in reality compared to the game.

Zen's favourite doll I gave to her when she turned 200-year-old.

Helen's hymn that she hums from time to time recounting her story.

And lastly, Erise's stoic responses.

But I just decisively quit the game last night so there's a flaw in their background.

This all might've been orchestrated by the developer as I am the last player of the game since it was released because of outdated graphics and console. It should be...

"But I last saw y'all just last night."

"Then you're really a God, husband," Zen claimed.

Huh? I'm going blind. Stop it.

Their eye's sparkled with admiration which I am not used to.

To them, I am the God who guided them in their bleak state after the war of all races that resulted in destroying most of the habitable places in the world of Inya.

I gave them civilization techniques, technology, and knowledge to improve normal citizens' life, but of course, I was just tapping some buttons and the game will do the rest.

As the living interactable NPCs in the game, the three of them have questions and requests for me to complete so it is not hard to know their personality.

Recalling all this information, I am now certain and clear why are they calling me their husband.

Civilization needs hierarchy to thrive that's just how a proactive group works in many areas.

Having their world turned into an apocalypse it makes sense to revere maiden wombs to procreate the world it once was.

You can assume that I created a cult as their foundation but having fanatic followers have its merits in a dire situation.

So as their holy maiden it is a common-sense their body belongs to me.

...Alright. I think that's a bad phrase.

Anyway, that's what it is. This whole ordeal. It all makes sense now somehow.

"No. I'm not a God, Zen."

"Huh?"

"What do you mean, Husband?"

Zend tilts her head while Helen asks confused.

To their beliefs, I am their one and mighty God that brings rains and magical tools for their survival.

Ughh... This'll take some explanation.

*Ring! Ring!*

"Oh, crap! I'll be late!"

As though I am a well-oiled machine, that I forget the important matter in the house, I readily put on my shoes after putting on my uniforms and hanging my bags on my back and started running towards the school.

Today is our final test to be a sophomore. I have no luxury to idle around.

However, before I opened the door and started sprinting a hand grabbed mine.

"Husband, don't leave us. Please..."

Zen have her puppy eyes looking at me, she was about to burst.

Her flawless skin, dignified stature, and beautiful face depict not an aloof woman but an abandoned puppy.

It is also the same for Erise and Helen.

While the latter wanted to snare me now where I stand the latter restrained herself to not be seen as pushy.

Looking at them something swells inside me.

I used to be one of them.

I cried whenever my parents go overseas for their job.

I have always been alone in this house.

While my parents leave to give a good lifestyle the three of them have their entire families massacred each other as their races clash in an all-out war.

If you think of it, there's no comparison between the three of them in my situation.

There's a disparity between being left alone in the house to being left alone in the world.

'Be strong, Kali.'

My other free hand pat Zen's head and held her cheeks

"You silly. Why would I leave? This is my house, you know."

I smiled, "So don't cry now."

Yeah.

One reassuring smile from my dad put me in a very mild state that I feel I can do anything.

I hope I was that reliable and they saw me in that light.

"Really?"

"Yep!"

"Okay. I won't cry now."

She wipes her tears and hugged me.

I was momentarily lost but I caress her head after I regained myself.

"Come here, Erise, Helen."

I called the two.

They came running to my side and sandwich me.

It is soft...

"I'm only going for a moment but don't worry, I'll be back before sunset. Okay?"

The three girls nodded up adorably.

I opened the front door but before I close it and go I gaze at them one more time.

"Watch the fort for me, my dear."

I spoke my line every time I log out of the game.

A very spellbinding smile bloomed on their lips, and I was captivated.

"Yes! My dear husband!"
