1 Volume 1. The past

Oh.. hi I'm Alice known as the subject 203 and I get called error by the scientists, cause I'm a failed subject but something unexpected happened but before that let's explain how I got here in the first place shall we?

"Alice wake up", " I'm up mommy!" I said running down the stairs with excitement but then stopping and overhearing my parents saying "we're doing it tonight" then seeing them nodding, I was confused but maybe it has to do with my birthday gift!!!

my parents start singing as soon as they see me "Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Alice, Happy Birthday to you!!" with me blowing out the 5 candles! yeah, that's right I'm 5 today!!!

"Thank you, mommy and daddy!" I said with a cherish smile not knowing what's going to happen next... "So princess we are going out to get ice cream, go put your shoes on," my Dad said.

I shouted "OKAY DADDY!" with full excitement,

"So everyone ready to go now?" my Mom asked.

"YES!!!" was my answer as we walk out the front door we started walking to the park or at least I thought so it was weirdly silent to nor Mom or Dad said a word but I didn't suspect a thing going on.

"Mom look! The ice cream truck is there!" I said but my parents told me "Sorry princess but we're going somewhere else." They said

I said with a sad face "Oh ok."

But I thought we might go somewhere else so I cheered up in seconds, but then I saw this man Mom and Dad started talking to in an alley I didn't understand them but I was scared when they handed me over to him.

They said, "Take Alice and give us our money." well it looked like a whole bag of this coloured paper with a queen and numbers on it! that the man gave them. and he said, "nice doing business with you," The man said.

The man had a scary low tone but it might be normal, maybe that man's my new babysitter? I've waited for days but my parents haven't come I was worried but the man started saying in the other room loudly," Everything is ready!" with an evil laugh at the end of it.

The man came into the room I was in and said "Hello, I am Doctor David and we are going to be friends for a long time." he said with a creepy smile on his face but I asked." where are mommy and daddy?" but he laughed and answered my question." your mommy and daddy hate you they left you here."

"WHAT That's not true!". I shouted, " YOUR LYING THEY LOVE ME". I shouted again just waiting for the old ugly man's answer.

"Why would they give you to me then?" he said

"They will be back for me!" I answered crossing my arms.

"Yeah right, Take Subject 203 to the tube!" that old man scoffed as some ladies came in and grabbed me I shouted "MY NAMES ALICE YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON WHOEVER IS THAT SUBJECT 203 IS." I tried to break out of their strong grip.

The man said, "well Alice from now on ur 203."

"calling me by a number? can't it be a better name that's so lame" I said then stuck my tongue out. sheesh like I'm not joking that's super lame and I'm not going to lie that old scientist needs to go to the hairdresser to fix his hair up.
