16 Chapter 16: Tiamat Sensei Part 1!

"Huh, what the hell are you rambling on about?" Tiamat asked.

"Just how I'm bottling up my feelings and supressing them with ease y'know?"

"Uh-huh, well that's not my problem lol, anyway, can I begin to teach you how to use mana yet?"

"Yea I guess so." I shrugged.

Now that I think about it, every time I'm on my mountain, I act more [slothful], maybe It's because of my skill?

That sounds, good? bad? I can't work it out.

Lets just ask Tiamat.

"Oi, Tiamat, what's magical awareness?" I asked

"Have you sensed mana before in your life?" Tiamat responded

"Yea, whenever I look at the blue cube or even when I manipulate a force I sense mana."

"That's magic perception. It can vary depending on things like race or expertise in using it. I've heard of people who could see mana and not just feel it. They described it as seeing two different coloured particles floating through the air."

"Two? I've seen so many though?"

Suddenly, a sense of foreboding overcame me.

"Why am I so abnormal!"

"I don't even care anymore. Lets just get you learning some magic. Sit down over there on that rock chair and we'll get started!"
