15 MARRIAGE

Louis and Fredrick were under a meeting when they received the message from the stocks department.

"How can this happen all of a sudden?" Louis ran his finger through his hair in tension

"What happened brother?" Fredrick asked

"Our company has lost few shares in the market today all of a sudden. According to our performance in stock market and our market value this should not happen, instead our graph should go higher. I don't know what is happening."

"Maybe that's because of today's dollar variation"

"No. It doesn't look like that. 2 of our partners has stopped funding us they terminating the contract without any reason. Due to that we lost 10% today. If it goes like this it will not be good for us and the future of our company."

Let me check. Fredrick checked the paper and done a detailed study on internet.

"We haven't faced any such issue for the past 50 years. We were No 1 in the market. I think somebody did this purposefully." Fredrick focused into the report and started cross examine everything line by line. But he couldn't find the reason behind it. He called the windrowing partners to find out the reason but the reply was disappointing. He sensed something fishy is happening around his company. Someone is playing games under cover.

Katherine is good at stocks so Fredrick decided to discuss it with her. Before giving birth to Aria Katherine was his PA and she used to give him advices on difficult matters. He pretended that he married Katherine for Diana in front of others but deep down Katherine and Fredrick know they were in love. Katherine doesn't wanted to be in a relationship with Fredrick since he is married man even thought she had an attraction towards him but few months after Fredrick's first wife's death Katherine found him drunk and crying in his office. She approached him.

"Fredrick what happened? You are drunk." Katherine helped him to stand but they both fell into the couch.

"Sorry Katherine I am so sorry, I am sinned Katherine. She, my wife she was cheating me and my family the entire time."

"Fredrick what did you mean by that?"

"She was a sinned woman, because of her I am carrying a big burden in my heart now. To keep my family name and status I have to keep everything under cover" He cried on Katherine's shoulders he explained the miserable marriage life he had with his wife to Katherine. She was shocked to realise the bitter facts in rich families.

"Fredrick calm yourself. Happened is happened we cannot change anything let's hope for the best. You know I am there for you and I promise I will keep it secret to keep our family name. You can trust me."

"I trust you Katherine. I always trusted you and I know you like me. I also like you. I always admired you. You are fine young woman every men in this office have an eye on you. But you like me. I always kept you one hand distance away because I was married and you did the same I know that. I am not sure I can promise you a life or not but at this moment I want to kiss you. Katherine was also in a mood to kiss him she felt sorry for things happened in his life. She didn't waste any moment, she kissed him hard until they both felt breathless.

"I love you Fredrick"

"I love you too Katherine" They kissed again and it lead to love making. They were in love since then. Katherine understand everything in Fredrick's mind without him saying. They were ideal couple. One day grandfather Arthur saw the intimacy and understanding between them and asked Fredrick to marry Katherine. It was a fine wedding. Kathrine looked after Diana very well but Diana's mind was filled with evil thoughts by her mother. Her mother always says Fredrick had an extra marital affair, so Diana thought the woman her mother always say is Katherine who led to the death of her mother.

Fredrick and Louis went straight to house, they both looked tensed. Louis asked Aleena to get coffee to his room. Fredrick went straight to his room, Katherine was reading a book on the couch. He went neared Katherine and hugged her from being.

"You are back already my love" Katherine kissed him

"There were some issues in the office, our few panthers are withdrawing from their contact"

"Why what happened?"

"I don't know, I checked through the files, I need you also to look into it. Tomorrow come to office with me. But now come to take a bath with me." They both headed to the bathroom.

Aria decided to make a call to her parents. She want to know what is happening there. "Hi Mom, How are you"

Fredrick and Katherine were on the study room going through all the papers, they saw Aria's call. Katherine put it in speaker.

"Hi Ana, we are going good my love"

"Where is Papa? I miss him a lot"

"So you don't miss me? Kathrine pocked her.

"Don't do that Katherine, She loves me more than you. Everyone knows that" Fredrick came to support Aria.

"Oh Papa you are here?"

"Yes Ana, Tell me how everything is over there? All good?"

"I have to tell you something. Before that tell me what is happening over there. I really miss you all." Aria decided to tell about Austin. It is better that her parent should know about this. They may be able to find some solution.

"Nothing much, we all missed you at the birthday party. Grandfather wished to see you." Katherine said

That time Fredrick received a call. He shouted at the opposite person over phone.

"Mom, is everything all right?"

"Ana, we lost few of our customers all of a sudden. We think that someone is playing games behind the back. We are unable to find the person. But we are very sure this is a trap." Katherine explained

Oh my god he did as he said, He really did as he said.

"Mom, is there any problem due to that?"
