6 Chapter 6 - Explanation

The sun was slowly sinking on the horizon, and the sky had changed color. The afternoon slowly turned into evening.

In the only lodging in Füs, the protagonist and the girls were sitting around a round wooden table with loaves of bread and fruits on it.

Thanks to the hooded cloak, the protagonist could hide his outrageously handsome face, so they didn't gather lots of attention. The girls ushered him to the only lodging in this remote village. There he met his favorite character in the show, the MILF Elf Landlady, Natalia.

When he saw her, he was stunned and gawked. He couldn't help it because Natalia was overflowing with a mature charm that the girls lacked.

At first, Natalia seemed amused when he was rooted on his spot like a statue, but when Tianne pulled his cloak to get his attention, causing his hood down, Natalia immediately flushed. She was also captivated by his charm.

After that, they went to the table in the corner and ordered meals. While eating, Filia and Tianne explained what was expected from him as the hero.

"…so, let me get this straight… This world is under threat of destruction at the hand of the Dark Lord that was brought back to life… And I was summoned here to defeat this Dark Lord?" The protagonist had a pensive expression as he said that.

"That's correct." Filia nodded at him.

'If everything is similar to the doujinshi, then the Dark Lord is a woman, her name is Crudelis, and she is a yandere. In the fifth volume, it was shown that her room was filled with Naoki's dolls and photos. A yandere Dark Lord, huh? What a drag…' Despite his thoughts, the protagonist maintained his pensive exterior.

"Following the legend, the hero was to manifest in that place. We just had no idea in what manner he would successfully appear to us…" said Tianne.

The protagonist released a deep sigh and said, "I think I understand."

Filia made a face as if she remembered something and then said, "Anyway, we haven't introduced ourselves, have we? My name is Filia Shiora, a swordswoman from the queendom of Lesdea. Glad to make your acquaintance."

The protagonist looked at Filia who had a confident, pretty smile. Inwardly, he thought, 'A queendom? It means a dominion that is ruled by a queen, right? That's different from what I remember from the OVA and doujinshi. It was supposed to be a kingdom!'

He snapped out from his thoughts when Tianne introduced herself next, with a blush on her face. "I'm Tianne Rutheim, and I also hailed from the same queendom. I'm a cleric. Umm, thank you very much for helping me back then."

He turned his head to Llusse when it was her turn. He was surprised when she stuttered out her introduction, "L-Llusse… I-It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance…"

The blush on Llusse's face darkened when she saw his weird gaze. She silently cursed her stuttering.

'Who are you? Where is the real Llusse? What have you done to her? The real Llusse is a foul-mouthed and ill-tempered elf! Not a cute, stuttering girl like you!' The protagonist retorted silently, and if Llusse knew about it, she surely hit his head.

He dismissed his strange thoughts and contemplated something. 'Should I introduce myself using my old name? Well, since this is my new life, I don't mind having a new name to symbolize it… But, what kind of name should I use?'

The girls were staring at him in confusion, wondering why he hadn't introduced himself yet. When they saw him deep in thought, they decided to wait for him to finish. They didn't want to look rude in front of him.

Back to the protagonist…

'How about Merlin Pendragon? Merlin for how I look, and Pendragon because that sounds cool! …You know what?! Let's use it!' He made up his mind and introduced himself, "My name is Merlin Pendragon, but call me Merlin." The protagonist, now known as Merlin Pendragon, or Merlin for short, had a charming smile on his handsome face after finishing his introduction.

Filia, Tianne, and Llusse were blushing deeply because of Merlin's deadly charm.

Someone suddenly approached their table, gathering their attention. When Merlin looked at the newcomer, he had to stop himself from gawking out, again.

The person was no other than the inn's landlady, Natalia, who was carrying several mugs that they'd ordered earlier.

She was a young-looking female elf with a slender yet well-endowed frame and light green eyes. She had a mature charm that the girls lacked. Her light blond hair was wavy and long, stopping at her waist.

She was wearing a top dress with a white-colored collar with two golden buttons and an open part in front that showed her captivating cleavage and dark purple bras. She also wore a dark purple long skirt.

'As expected of my favorite character in Isekai Harem Monogatari! Natalia is the best!' Merlin thought as he watched Natalia put the mugs on the table. '…speaking of which, the queen is also a fine MILF. I can't wait until we met!'

Filia and her friends looked at Merlin with expectation. He decided to feign a pensive expression as if he was thinking about his answer carefully.
