Meanwhile, with the trio in Merlin's room…
The sunlight crept into the room through the gaps on the curtain. On the bed, three gorgeous women were sleeping, side by side.
"Huh? It's morning already… Ugh… My body feels sore, but my mind feels refreshed," Filia woke up first and muttered groggily. After she sat up, she looked at her surroundings. She was confused at first, and then she remembered what had happened last night.
A rosy hue stained Filia's cheeks as she felt both shy and happy that she'd become a woman with the help of the legendary hero. She felt it was an honor to be with him.
"By the way…" Filia checked the room to see the appearance of the man who took her virginity. However, she couldn't find him. "Where is he?"
Filia felt anxious when she couldn't find him in the room. Thus, she woke Tianne and Llusse up. "Girls, wake up. I couldn't find him, the Hero!"
"Huh?!" Tianne jolted awake and sat up abruptly. Her sudden movement made her naked breasts jiggle. She turned her head around and searched for the hero. "Where is Hero?!"
"I don't know! He wasn't here when I woke up!" Filia replied and then urged Llusse to wake up. "Hey, wake up! Come on, girl! Wake up!"
"My body is still sore… gimme me five more minutes…" Llusse groaned and flipped her body. She then pushed her face to the pillow.
"Come on! Wake up! We have to find the missing Hero!" Filia kept shaking the shoulder of Llusse, making the elf groan and push her face to the pillow deeper.
It looks like Filia had a hard time waking the useless elf up.
All the while, Tianne had collected her clothes and was in the middle of putting them on. After wearing her clothes, she turned to Filia and said, "I will ask the landlady if she knows about the hero's whereabouts."
"Please, do just that. I'll try to wake this lazy elf up." (Filia)
The short conversation over, Tianne went down to find Natalia. She found out Natalia was doing inventory behind the counter and approached the elegant landlady.
"Ms. Natalia, excuse me!" Tianne greeted Natalia hastily after stopping before the counter with an anxious expression.
Natalia had her business smile as she looked at Tianne. "Do you need anything?"
"Do you know where Hero is?" (Tianne)
Natalia had a pensive expression and looked like she was pondering for moments. She then replied, "Hero, huh? He'd walked out a while ago. It looks like he'd have a walk somewhere in the village."
"Phew! So he has a walk around the village," Tianne was relieved when she heard that. She then looked at Natalia with a grateful look, "Thank you, Ms. Natalia."
"Ufufufu~, you're welcome dear." Natalia closed her eyes and smiled elegantly. But inwardly, she felt guilty because she'd tricked Tianne.
Who's walking somewhere in the village?! The hero Tianne was looking for was in her room and was waiting for her to do fun things together!
But of course, Tianne wasn't aware of this!
"Anyway, breakfast is ready. I can serve it to you and your friends." (Natalia)
"What about the hero's breakfast?" (Tianne)
"He has eaten his portion before he went somewhere." (Natalia)
"I see… Let me ask the others first."
"Sure," said Natalia, ending their conversation.
After that, Tianne returned to the hero's room. On her way, she passed a silver-haired girl wearing a green robe usually worn by a mage.
Tianne missed the pensive look of the girl directed to her back over the girl's shoulder.
After entering the room, Tianne found out Filia had woken Llusse up, though the elf seemed not fully awake yet.
"Welcome back, Tianne. How was it?" Filia asked after putting on her detached sleeves.
"Don't worry, the hero is out for a walk somewhere in the village," Tianne replied.
"I'm glad to hear that." Filia nodded and stood up. She'd finished putting on her outfit. "By the way, I plan to test my power. I've forgotten about this because we were carried by the mood last night. So, would you like to partake?"
"Okay! I want to test my power too! I can feel unfathomable power brimming in me and demanding to be unleashed." Tianne agreed and nodded energetically.
At this point, Llusse had finally regained her clarity. When she heard the plan from her friends, she became excited and joined their chat. "Let me join. I want to see how strong I am now!"
The three of them sensed the unfathomable power inside their bodies. It made them feel very energetic and want to unleash it. Just like that, they got carried by the mood and forgot about the hero.
After that, they went to their respective rooms to gather their equipment and weapons. They then went down.
"Oh, girls, do you want your breakfast to get prepared now?" Natalia called them after seeing the girls climbing down the staircase. She'd just brought the breakfast of another renter toward the girl's table.
Speaking of the girl, who was no other than Aina the Mage, she glanced at the trio subtly while eating her breakfast calmly.
"We'll pass! We'll eat breakfast later," Llusse answered in the place of everyone in her group.
"Looks like you're in a hurry," Natalia spoke of her observations. She then continued, "Anyway, before you go, I have to tell you that I'll be unavailable until lunch. I have a business that I have to attend. If you want to eat your breakfast, feel free to get it in the kitchen."
"We understand. Thank you for your consideration," Filia replied.
Natalia followed them to the door and watched them leave her inn, after which she closed the door and smirked victoriously. When she turned around, her smirk was nowhere to be seen.
After Natalia returned to the counter, she saw the silver-haired girl finish her breakfast and gave her a nod, to which Natalia nodded in return. After that, she saw the girl hurried out.
All of sudden, Natalia remembered something about the girl. "Isn't she the young mage who arrived here yesterday afternoon to be the hero's companion? It looks like my dear Lord will obtain another girl in his ever-growing harem…Ufufufu.~♪"
