16 Chapter 16 - Natalia's Invitation

Natalia was captivated by the hero's charming look when she took a glance at his face closely. Even though she'd seen him when he was in the inn earlier, she was still affected. Their brief meeting wasn't enough to make her accustomed to his charm.

It showed how out of the world his appearance was…

'What now? Do I have to carry him into my room? Or do I wake him up and invite him normally?' Natalia contemplated silently.

She wanted to bring him to her room and locked him there until she had her fun. She was certain of his attraction to him. She'd seen his appreciative and lustful gaze on her earlier. And currently, he'd the same look directed on her.

'I guess I can invite him to my room normally. I'm sure that he would agree.' After careful deliberation, she decided to snap him out from his daze first. Although she wanted to hide him in her room, she didn't want to ruin her chance.

"Hmm… Do you like what you see, O Hero?"

A sweet, elegant, and charming voice snapped Merlin out from his daze. His gaze immediately went up from the tantalizing cleavage of Natalia to her jade-colored irises, and he saw Natalia look at him with a knowing look and a mirthful smile.

Natalia wasn't offended when Merlin was ogling her chest; she realized her plan to invite the hero into her bed was easier than she'd thought. It would be a walk in a park!

"Well, yes! Thank you for the amazing view!" Merlin blurted and soon realized what he'd done; he wanted to punch himself for showing a shameful act in front of Natalia.

Her melodious giggle stopped Merlin's self-reproach. Merlin turned his head away awkwardly. 'She has a nice voice…' He mused quietly when he noticed the melodious sound of her giggle.

'How cute…' Natalia thought when she saw his embarrassment. If Merlin knew her thoughts, he would fall in shame and anger; he wasn't cute! He was handsome and manly!

After Natalia stopped giggling, she looked at Merlin with a mirthful gaze. "So, it's a coincidence to meet you here, O Hero. If you wouldn't mind answering my question, why were you outside?"

"I was testing my powers last night. After that, I decided to stargaze and enjoy the atmosphere before going inside and them meeting you here…" Merlin replied honestly.

"Hmm… Is that so?" Natalia tilted her head and gazed at him deeply.

In return, Merlin nodded his head. "Yeah."

"But, were you not afraid to fall ill when sleeping here?" (Natalia)

"No. I have a strong body. I won't get sick just from staying outside a few hours." (Merlin)

"I see…" Natalia nodded then changed the topic, "By the way, would you mind if we change the place? This isn't a proper place to have a pleasant conversation, after all."

Merlin blinked his eyes. He was startled by her offer. It came out suddenly. "Do you have an idea, Ms. Landlady?"

Natalia smiled slyly. When Merlin saw that smile, he felt the want to pound and claim this charming MILF, but he endured the urge.

'Calm down! Don't be impatient! I can't ruin my chance with her!' With a bit of effort and coaxing, his urge finally settled down. He then said, "So? About the place?"

"Please follow me, O Hero." Natalia turned around and led Merlin, who was silently following her, to the counter.

'Dat bouncy ass! Dat thicc thighs! I can't wait to squeeze and get squeezed by them,' thought Merlin as he saw the swaying butts of Natalia; she purposely swayed her butt as she guided Merlin to their destination.

'She's leading me to the room behind the counter… What kind of room is that?' Merlin wondered quietly.

Merlin stopped when Natalia stopped in front of the wooden door.

"Come inside, O Hero," Natalia exclaimed after opening the door, inviting him inside.

Merlin entered without hesitation and then inspected the room. No matter how he saw it, he was in a normal room. What's more, he realized whose room it was… 'This is her room, isn't it?'

When his sharp hearing heard the sound of the door being locked behind him, he realized the ploy of Natalia. Anticipation, excitement, and determination surged in his chest suddenly. He thought, 'So that is your game… Since I was invited, as a gentleman, I shan't betray your expectation, Natalia!'

Suddenly, Natalia grabbed Merlin's hand. "Follow me, Hero. Let's have some talk there."

Natalia guided Merlin to the bed. After he sat on the edge, with Natalia sitting beside him, she put her hand on his thigh and said, "You were having fun last night, weren't you? You and your companions were loud."

"Huh?" Merlin was confused. He never expected Natalia to speak about that. When he looked at her knowing eyes, he guessed her plot correctly. He then gave Natalia an earnest expression, surprising her.

Despite her surprise, Natalia kept her composure. Her unflappable mask didn't show a sign of weakness.

"I'm sorry if my companions and I have caused problems for you last night, Natalia. I hope that you can forgive us," Merlin apologized. "I'll do anything as long as it's within my power to earn your 'forgiveness', Ms. Landlady."

"Huh?" Natalia was startled. She never expected him to apologize earnestly. However, she realized that he was playing along with her game after looking at his glimmering eyes.

Natalia smiled coquettishly and said, "Anything, you say?" After seeing his nod, she continued, "Then, please stop calling me like that. Call me with my name, Natalia."

"Very well, then. Natalia. In return please use my name, Merlin." (Merlin)

"Ara, I'm unworthy, O Hero. I'm no more than a humble widow." (Natalia)

"Please, Natalia, you are worthy to call me with my name." (Merlin)
