Chapter 5: Talent

*KNOCK*KNOCK*

"Young Master, can I come in?" Adele asked while knocking on the library door, where Alex was currently studying.

"Yes, come in, Adele." Adele opens the door to see Alex reading something, while a lot of books cover him—forming a small wall.

Walking towards the table, she moved some of the books to the side and placed the tea and pastry that she bought along with her.

"Young Master, have some tea, while it is still hot before you continue reading." Adele said, while she took the book from Alex's hand that he was reading and placed it at the side of the table.

Clearly telling Alex to drink the tea.

taking the cup of tea that Adele brewed—taking a sip of it and taking a deep breath and turning to Adele, who was silently staring at Alex.

"So what is Sylvie doing? Is she still at the study and call me Alex there is no need for formalities when there is just two of us." Alex Said, while sipping his tea.

"Yes, she is still studying and I don't think she will be able to meet you today." Adele said while she looked at the books Alex was reading.

"What are you reading?"

"This... "Alex took the book on the table and handed it over to Adele.".. about talents."

"Talent? What do you want to know about talents." Adele asked Alex as she looked genuinely surprised knowing that he was studying about talents.

Well, previously Alex was someone who avoided the topic of talent as he only has one, which was considered useless by the family. From his memory, this was also the reason why his step-siblings often bully him as he doesn't have any power for retaliation against them.

"I want to learn about everything about talent. From How it works to How it can be obtained." Alex said seriously as he looked at Adele.

Talent is one of the terms that Alex never heard or seen in the [DREAM WORLD]. From his research for the past few days, he can say that talents are something similar to abilities that he obtained from the game.

But Alex can't just come to the right answer as the book only tells the basics of what he wants to learn. In fact, even Alex has one talent called [Unity].

[Unity], It's not the first time that Alex has heard such a term. In fact [Unity] was an ability that all the players who played [DREAM WORLD] have, It is one of the common yet crucial abilities that is used to win against the world enemy.

But for this ability to activate a harem of above level 90 capture target is needed—and a minimum of 10 harem members.

And because [DREAM WORLD] is an R–18/RPG/Dating Sim game, this system was highly appreciated. But there are requirements that the player has to follow to add Harem to [Unity].

The first requirement is the capture target must be level 90 or above. There is also the option of levelling the capture target to the required level before adding it to [Unity].

The second requirement is—the Capture target must be 100% in love with the player. In the game, it was easy as there was an option to show the percentage of love.

But in real life, there was no such option and as an R-18 game there are a variety of capture targets such as Tsundere, Sadist, Masochist, Kuudere, Dendere and the infamous Yandere.

Don't misunderstand him; he has nothing against Yanderes. What guy doesn't appreciate a lady who will sacrifice everything for him and live her entire life for him?

But when the love leads to the woman activating a world-ending forbidden magic to keep you for herself, that's when shit hits the fan.

"Are you worried about your talent, Alex?" Adele asked seeing that Alex was making a difficult face.

"Yes, you can say that, it is after all about my future." Alex said absent-mindedly, without noticing the sudden change of expression on Adele's face.

Seeing Alex face Adele suddenly hugged him from the side, causing his head to be placed between her soft breasts.

He was surprised by the sudden action but he didn't do anything against it, and while he was at it he took a deep breath as he inhaled her lavender flavor smell.

"I don't know what let you say that but know this, a person worth is not determined by the talent he possesses. And I and Young Miss Sylvie will always love you no matter what." Adele said as she hugged him tightly, she had no intention of letting him go soon.
