1 3 long years

I slowly opened my eyes finally waking up from my sleep, I immediately smiled when I heard my phone rang for a notification. Must be an email! I said in my mind then finally got up.

Well another day, another productive day! I decided to drink hot dark chocolate while checking my inbox. Great! I immediately saw my name Psyche Hrtlez whom they addressed the emails! My eyesight was even got brighter when I saw the contents of the email.

Again, I chuckled reading it. And said Perfect! In my mind.

By the way I'm Psyche Hrtlez the one everyone admires, kind to everyone, helpful to everyone and Angel to everyone as THEY say. And what can I say? Nothing, I have nothing to explain. I'm just happy, happy with what I'm doing with the life I have.

Good accommodation, own car, delicious food and of course good money flow from all the business I have. Everyone could say I'm well prepared for the future already and guess what? Now was the future! And I think everything is settled already but...

"settling wasn't in my plan, don't worry so about our business? Yes, sure, our service is the best, okay, bye!" and I ended the call already to be able to drive cuz I should arrived at NATcho at 9 sharp, it's 8am already so I still have 1 hour left. Let's go!

NATcho

When I arrived, it was clear that there were many customers inside. I will not be surprised because renting the whole NATcho wasn't her plan. It'll be a big loss if it closes even just a day, knowing Nat? she always listens to me.

Not from a far, I finally saw them specifically Nat who was full of smiles while talking to her companions at the table.

By the way that's Nat Villahermosa my bff since grade 8 and she savagely own NATcho herself and we're going to celebrate it's 5th year anniversary today with the fam.

"am I too late?" I interrupted their laughter which was immediately followed by a mock when they recognized me immediately "oh the goddess of victory is here!" that's Nate, Nat's brother and we're on the same age.

Well I just smiled at him with his fiancee Mik whom was a business woman slash model. Well they're both business personalities actually with Nate's Automotive Company and Mik's Cosmetic Company. Cool right?

"Congratulations bro!" I immediately greeted Nat when I sat down next to her, she smiled at me then offered a newly released flavor of cupcakes she baked for the new menu today.

I tasted it right away and all I can say is she was so amazing! But my congratulations to her doesn't end there because I even gave her an invitation that raised her eyes saying...

"seriously ?! I thought it had not started yet? Then now there are invitations for the opening already??"

"ha? What is that?" Nate then next looked at the invitation and found their names along with what was written there.

"wow! So we are your VIP guest at the opening of your Elite Resort?" Mik asked as I just nodded.

In conclusion I'll treat them free stay in my new resort especially the celebrant Nat that I looked at and then smiled widely because she dreamed that we stay at any resort and just chill which is also one of our friendship goals.

"so grand! why didn't we received such gift when me and Mik celebrated our Company's 7th year anniversary?this is so unfair Haha!" Nate said which made Nat laugh at the same time saying "of course I'm the bff and not you haha!"

I just laughed too but seriously...

"I wasn't yet rich before and I think you can afford it."

I just said being cool while focusing on eating some cupcakes that I already enjoy because I only eat sweets once, I really avoid coming here because this place makes me forget my diet haha!

We laugh in unison remembering those days, they're really rich and I'm so poor back then, but they shared their life with me.

They are neither proud nor stingy. They're always there when I needed help. But I don't want to rely on them forever so I made my own way to grow and get what I have right now. And I'm just so thankful that I still have them though so many things had changed already.

But by the way Nat's celebration is very simple, I want to give her more than what I've given to her cuz I'm also a savage you know, so in conclusion that is not yet my most grand gift to her.

"so see you at the opening bro" I said addressing my exit, Nate and Mik left already because they got some appointments about the other details of their wedding next month.

I, on the other hand, have to leave already because Nat is busy in the kitchen later and I still have work to do.

"Sure bro, noted!" I just smiled at her and then quickly drove my car to Elite Matchmaker Company already.

At the reception, Luke my secretary greeted me with a wide smile on his face, maybe he received our long-awaited email too.

"You knew?" he asked me when I just passed him while intentionally showing my wide smile. He followed me when I entered the elevator.

"yeah" I said while looking at my watch where I confirmed I wasn't late yet base on the scheduled time discussed at the email.

"You are really very impressive Psyche!" he complimented, well we're that close to the point we call each other by first name basis, he has been with me for a long time, his salary was high too because he is trustworthy.

"of course I am" I said to him then I first exited the elevator when it reaches my floor already where the CEO office placed which I personally owned.

The door automatically opened, entered it and found a tall guy wearing an expensive black and dark blue three-piece suit looking at me seriously like he'd been waiting for me for so many years already though I was very early at than the scheduled time.

In conclusion it's our exclusive wedding day with just Father Xavier and Mom in my Resort here in La Union...
