36 The Last Strength of Gavin

"What do you mean by it?! Spill it now! I ain't trying to play games with you!''

Rein tried to order the person who calls himself as his [inner self], yet it is not responding to any of his question.

''How dare you play games with me!''

Rein cursed the person who calls himself as his [inner self]. That person isn't a part of him, nor that person was him, that person was an impostor... a fake living being who just have been put inside of him.

When Rein blink his two eye's the situation was much more worse than before. The Orc King gazes at the humans with his large wooden hammer equipped within his green hands. Besides the Orc King was the Goblin Elder. Smiling, no laughing by the mistakes of the humans.

The Orc King readied his wooden hammer, covering the front gate to avoid the humans from running. He was desperately trying to block the way, so that the humans can't get out.

Yellow eyes, green skin. Like the Goblin king, but much more taller and bulkier in terms of physique. It was gazing at them... Like a predator, choosing the time when to eat.

''Move in formations and ready your warp portal!!'' Cecil commanded.

The humans also tried to protect themselves; Armors ready, swords ready, formations ready. They were all focused on one thing. And that thing was now moving slowly unto their position. It was slowly walking while dragging its wooden hammer unto the ground.

A... a green titan was walking leisurely towards them. In a few split of seconds...

''SLAVES!!!'' The Orc King ran towards them while dragging its wooden hammer, it released a booming sound, showing its desire to have slaves.

''Defend!!'' Cecil commanded the different kinds of group formations. Yet, they all flew away with just one swing of its large wooden hammer. The front squad got annihilated in just a split of seconds and the generals still can't believe what just had happened. Only the remaining twenty groups have remained, and the unawakened was one of it. They were at the back. Besides them were the two generals; Gavin and Cecil who was all shivering and scared, grabbing unto their [warp portal] preparing to leave the unstable situation.

''Cecil! this beast is out of our league! even the kingdom needs a 10-15 thousands of 3rd star mages to beat this monster! we need to bail off now, or this will be the end for us! We will get annihilated at this point!'' Gavin stated his opinion.

''I know! I know! what you are trying to tell me, but we can't just leave this place. How about the remaining humans?! They will either die or become a slave!''

Gavin was speechless... He was ashamed of himself, he was a General who the awakened and the unawakened humans look up to, and yet. He can only do nothing about the current situation that they are in.

He was in thought of Vrekerd.

''If only Vrekerd was here, then probably, he could buy us some time to leave this place. He is strong enough to take on that beast. If only...''

''Stop thinking about that old man!'' Rage Cecil, ''This is our job, this is our responsibility. Our responsibility is to take care of the humans. And we need to save them.''

''But how?! How huh Cecil!'' Asked Gavin.

''Warp portal. We will use them to make a large portal in able for us to return to the palace. We will save the remaining humans first then we will follow, … Call out the remaining humans who aren't affected to the wrath of the Orc King. We will buy them some time in order for them to teleport to the palace.'' Cecil said.

''Fine, I try.''

Gavin and Cecil then called out the squads who aren't affected to the wrath of the Orc King. They began holding their warp portal. A blue rectangular stuff. It shined a lighter blue image when they've imbued their mana on it. And a blue particles of dust was shining towards the ground rising through their bodies; and they've dissipated into a blue sparkle of dust.

''Everyone who is free use your warp portal!! and those who haven't had one follow us Generals to take on the Orc King!''

Cecil commanded, and the humans who haven't had a warp portal then head off to take the Orc King, who was swinging its wooden hammer nonstop. It flew off humans meter by meter. Some died when they got hit by it, while some died from being toss to the walls.

The Generals then run towards the Orc King, and at their backs were the humans who haven't had a single warp portal. The unawakened, and different kinds of awakened humans.

The gifted squad decided to tag along to help the Generals take on the Orc King; Kim, Emmy, Grey, Kaz and Rassald was at the command by the Generals. Besides them who are running were the unawakened humans. Who really can't deny Cecil orders because they don't have a single warp portal and can't leave on their own.

Rein was all dark, mad. He can't afford to look at what is happening in front of him. A green titan keeps on swinging its wooden hammer away in the air. Crush, flew and killed some of the humans in just his one swing. He then bit his tongue, to make himself more awake, tighten the grip he had on his augmarium sword and waited to the Generals orders.

''All the Mages that doesn't have a warp portal, stop and fire your spells! swordsman follow me to take on the Orc King!!'' Cecil commanded the humans besides her.

Gavin stayed put to command the mages around while Cecil head on to kill the Orc King.

''Blistering heat cover thy all forms of my body!''

Cecil casted a magic spell while heading towards the Orc King. She was all covered in flames, her golden armor, 2 durendal swords was all in blistering heat. Besides her was different kinds of swordsman; Kaz and Rein was one of it.

General Cecil durendal swords was in heat along with her emotions. She then ran towards the feet of the Orc King and slash it repeatedly.

''GRAH!? A GIRL HUMAN? PATHETIC.''

Cecil was repeatedly slashing the feet of the Orc King, yet it isn't giving off a voice of being hurt; it was surprise instead. Cecil then took a step back, a few 20 meters away from the Orc King, then gestured her hand to stop the humans wasting their mana's. She commanded the mages who were all throwing their spells nonstop.

''Stop!''

''FINALLY A FORMIDABLE SLAVE.''

A grin in the eyes can all be seen to the Orc King face. Its desire of having a slave was giving him off a motivation not to kill the humans around. Instead just to make them fall asleep. And that's why the Orc King wasn't trying to smash the humans into bits to pieces. It is all for a slave...

''A GOOD SLAVE!!''

The Orc King roared unto the dark room, which made the small green-like goblins came out to the dark tunnels. They were all bringing a wooden bow...

''Mage kill off the goblins!!'' Cecil commanded,'' Gavin use the warp portal that the Gifted squad was holding to cast a big portal heading to the palace! I will buy you some time!''

''This is not enough! five warp portals aren't enough, I need twenty warp portals or more!''

''Just make a portal enough for us to escape! We don't have much time, I can only buy you five minutes of time!''

''I told you we are lacking warp portals, I need 20 or more for us to escape! There's too many of us here only twenty or thirty of us could escape!''

''Then make it. We have no choice, there be some of us who will sacrifice themselves for the country.''

''Then who are the humans that you are talking about?!''

''We will leave the failure's here.''

Cecil sighed, She was talking to the unawakened humans who are trying to protect themselves to the goblins, who are releasing their arrows nonstop in the mid air. There was really nothing that she could do. It was above her strength to save the remaining humans around her. Only twenty to thirty could be save, but there are all forty humans remaining inside the dungeon. She was in thought of what to do, but suddenly Gavin reach out his hand to her face.

''I will stay here and sacrifice myself.''

''What?!''

Cecil was fuming some ashes around her body, It looks like she was really pissed off by the sudden words of Gavin, but there was no use of trying to persuade him, because he was on the verge of casting his strongest spell, which will drain his mana as a side effects.
