16 Demon Boar Hunting

The unawakened were walking on an unknown forest. Trying to locate a single demon boar to hunt— Time has passed slowly, along when they walked on the forest. Bored from the animals nor trying to approach them.

Two days have passed, yet they can't still find even a single demon boar. They are now thinking that perhaps General Vrekered's given mission was a lie, and their real mission was probably how to survive the unknown forest.

Rein then stood up, approaching Vishan who was sitting alongside the tree. He then said to him, "Vish may I borrow your watch? I promise to return it."

Vishan watch was not as flashy and expensive as they could be. It's just a simple watch, with a pink

rubber scrap, which is much likely for girls.

—It was not as expensive as it seems to be, but Vishan valued it more than to his heart. Because the one who gave it was her little sister, from his last birthday.

"Ok, handle it with care—I beg you," Vishan said to Rein, as he removed it from his wrist.

Rein then walked away. Not notifying them where he will go. Vishan and Caroll then asked Rein in unison,"Where are you going?"

Rein then shifted his head and replied, " I look for information."

As Caroll and Vishan weren't convinced from what he said. They tried to ask more, "Information?"

"..."

"As you can see, all animals have a daily routine in life, and I'm trying to find out what it is."

"So, you are trying to find out about the demon boar's daily routine?" Caroll asked.

"No, but the [Horned rabbits] daily routine," Rein replied to Carroll then started to walk away. But Caroll shouted—worried from Rein.

"What if you got lost in the forest Rein!!?"

"...."

"I won't, you don't need to be worried,"

" How can you be so sure!!?" Caroll uttered a loud noise, which made the other unawakened wake up from their deep slumber.

Rein then gasped and replied,

"The ring that we are wearing isn't just for decorations. It is made for tracking where our allies have gone. Just try to think of me much carefully by saying my name or remembering my face, then the ring will light the way where I am in."

All the unawakened were surprised. Their slept state was replaced unto curiosity. They don't know what the real uses of the ring that the knight handed to them.

They only knew that it is beautiful and pricey if brought to earth. Curious, Derek tried to think about blast, and it did light.

The blueish jewel emitted a lighter image from before, as he waved his fingers. The light disappeared;and when he pointed at blast, the light reappeared. Derek then said,

"What a beautiful and useful jewel!"

In a slight moment, the widened smile of Derek disappeared and asked Rein, "Wait! wait, Rein—how did you know about the uses of the rings?"

Rein then gasped and said, "I've read it on the bookshelf besides my bed. The dwarves have made it to locate their allies,it was made more than eighteen-years ago."

"Then are there any further secrets that this jewel is hiding?"

"Sadly but no, it is only made to locate where your allies are, but the red ring that General Vrekered is wearing are able to know that we are in danger."

"how!? " The unawakened asked in unison.

"This was holded as a secret by general Vrekered, and I also don't want to uncover it, just because I knew it, doesn't mean that I will tell you. You guys can find out on your own."

"Tskk! too stingy," Derek cursed Rein.

Rein then walked away from them.

He was deeply adventuring in the forest, where trees, dirt and grasses are only around him—He found and edible mushroom, so he put it on his large pockets.

And as he walked much further away, he found another bushes. Struggling, he then tried to force his way in. He pushed the bushes with his hands and feet.

—He then covered his mouth.

The splashing of water by the river almost reached his face, and on the other side of the river was a single horned rabbit. Drinking the river water; Rein then stared at his girly watch that he borrowed from Vishan. And said,

"Estimated time, three o'clock. I need more information."
